Hey Leanne, Caroline here. Love your work & also inspired by finnabar (?spelling). I have just done my first canvas with model paste, Gesso etc & bizarrely I have very similar metal wings on mine but not same company. Love using papers too & random parts so this was great to watch. The birthday idea is such a good one; she'll love it. Thank you as always. xx

Thank you so much for you kind comments =) As for your question...well it all depends how clear my "vision" is lol! If I get an idea...and I know exactly how I want it to look...I can probably finish in a few hours. BUT most of the time...I create as I go...and I don't always get solid time to finish it, so it could take a few days or weeks. I think on average, for a layout like this...with drying time...it probably takes a good 4 hours or longer lol. I'm not the fastest scrapper :-) TFW Hugz
I love this, Romance Novel is one of my favorite collections. I wanted to let you know on your baby chicken wire, I cant remeber if you had access to a Home Depot, if you do, I believe you can get it there in a 27inX8ft sheet for $7.85. Its called Steel lath. It says its easily cut and formed to curved surfaces. I havn't actually seen it in person yet, but it looks to be a large sheet of the same thing. I'll loo next time I'm in there & I'll post another comment and let you now for sure.
