I thought I was going insane. I have a TUF 17 and the WiFi stops working after about 2 min following a restart. Then it will work for a week just fine. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you , I needed thus, my sons laptop same model, was fine for the first year, then had a HD issue, sent back to asus , they fixed the HD, but when it came back the WiFi was nearly non existent. Trying to debug myself, found your video, because it came to the point I may need to buy a new card. Now I am not sure this was the main issue, but just from your video I found the antenna were reversed, I am not sure that matters, but put them back as your video has them, and all a sudden. Got good connection again. Does the antenna wire matter which one it's hooked to, and if so how does asus get that wrong in their repair?
I assume if it's a card with CNVio2 I should go with another AX201, and if I previously has PCIE I should try AX200? I believe AX200 should also work on CNVio2, but I'm not sure if Im correct.
