just got through putting in a fujin 3 into my hori and hoooly shiiii, all the same issues with the omega-stripped screws on the mount and trying to fit the lever into the box
Yes, you could do that. But of course, that becomes a permanent mod. I was modding this stick for my brother, so I didn't do it, just in case he'd bite me! 🙈
You should be able to bend connectors without any issues, provided that: 1. It still fits the cable. 2. You don't bend it all the time - eventually the metal will say snapperdy-snapsnap. But bending can easily be done up to 90 degrees even, as long as you don't make it a habit of re-bending it ;p Otherwise things like low-profile cases wouldn't even be possible without specialty gear.
Unfortunately I don't. The best bet, is to take another screw out and go to a Hardware Store, or even in a small DIY electronics store (where they sell Drones, RC cars, Arduinos, Breadboards, etc.) and show them the screw. They have heaps of experience and they'll more than likely figure out what they're called and find it, or tell you where to go to find one. If you're extra motivated, you can bring your stick along, and try to fit it in-store. That way you're 100% sure it's the right one. Then buy a handful of them, as backup! 😎✌
@@MakingTheSausage update, I actually found it. But I was able to get a replacement pretty easy from left over screws I sorted through. For any American (or anyone for that matter) reading this, Arcade Shock sells extra Hex screws for the top panel if you need to replace those
Hey nice one, did you figure out how to mod the panthera ?

wow! So it wasn't only me! I guess it's a Hori thing after all. 🤔
at 34:44 would cutting out a part of the plastic to keep from bending it be a better idea? i'm prepping for modding mine.

Do you know the screw size of the bottom screws? Bought one used that is missing one
