I've had this footage for a while! Finally got it edited together. I'm trying my best to figure out how to make it easier for myself to capture footage, it's a struggle with a toddler! I'll upload when I can with what I can. I honestly don't know when I can start my next big project even though I desperately want to. It's alright, despite that, my life is going good!
Hi Kazul, thank you so much for linking to a full roll of the mesh. I did my best to use your link. I bought a 8x11 sheet prior from another reseller and that just wasn’t enough to learn and create a pair of eyes I was happy with. I’ll be thinking of you and letting people know of your online shop when they need a more modest amount (I think you’ve got a better price for 8x11 too).
On the painting: Would using an airbrush allow for thin, pigment-rich layers to dry quickly? Also, if you painted over a sheet of felt it seems like that could help with drying and prevent paint from pooling or smearing on the backsides of the mesh when painting. I'm no expert though, so not sure if these would work in practice.
An airbrush would absolutely work to paint the mesh, I usually opt for dry brushing just because I don't want to get my airbrush out. I would use a paper towel to absorb the excess, though It would probably need changing a few times. Just a normal towel would work too if you want to sacrifice it to be painted. Felt isn't really absorbent, I don't recommend!

@@KazplayVideos cool, thanks! I might end up doing this soon for a costume.
Anyone know what products will and wont work for this as far as sealants go to better protect the paint job?
I've always found my krylon crystal clear gets sticky after a few months
I’ve used spray varnish for cars found at home depot.
hello! would posca be okay with painting the eye?
I haven't tried them myself, but I'm fairly certain they would work on this material!
