Tristian’s argument boils down to him not believing that the government should get involved with this issue. It should be up to individual families to decide. That is the pro choice argument. Contrary to what he is saying, Tristian is pro choice.
No he really isn't. Pro choice people don't want it legal for specific circumstances. They want the complete choice and he doesn't agree with that.
My guy, he literally just said that he does not want to impose his views on anyone. That is the pro-choice position. Let families “choose” on their own without a third party (ie the government) getting involved. To clarify, according to this video Tristian is pro choice from a policy perspective while being against abortions in his personal relationships.
Being “pro life” means more than just being against abortions personally. The pro life position demands government involvement which Tristian is clearly against.

It’s either killing a baby or keeping it. It’s either you want to keep it or get rid of it. But I think it’s just horrible to get rid of a baby and it’s just selfish to get rid of it for your own sake

How about this: It’s not your body when the DNA is separate. That’s how we can tell with 100% accuracy the difference between human beings. When is the baby’s DNA separate from the mothers..? At the moment of conception. Simple as that.

because he’s saying it’s not for everyone to be pro life or pro choice. He has the money to ensure that he can raise a child and he knows he is able to be a great dad but for other people, there are circumstances where having a child is not great for them e.g. rape, health complications etc. so for himself he is pro life but for others he doesn’t care as it’s their business

We say relationships are 50-50, yet when you have to face the consequences of having unprotected sex, it’s all up to the woman to decide whether she kills the baby or lets it live? I don’t know if you’re properly aware of what you’re saying. If you have unprotected sex, then you should be ready to face the consequences. All it takes is some form of protection. Furthermore, how is pregnancy hell? I’m sure mothers will disagree. Sure, it has its highs and lows but to say that a mother goes through HELL for nine months for a child that they love so much is an overstatement.

The problem with this view though is that many laws involve holding people to certian moral standards if something is considered an egregious enough act. If you aren't going to force you're morals onto anyone, than should they should be able to mow down people in the streets with an AK 47 because thatsthe morale compass they choose to live by? It's really a discussion of whether abortion crosses a certian moral boundry requiring the government to take action. I think people who make this argument are trying to take the easy way out and avoid that question.

The dictionary definition is “homicide that is illegal” but saying murder is illegal because it’s illegal doesn’t answer WHAT makes some forms of homicide murder and others forms not murder.
Guess what does answer the question on when homicide is murder… intent. It is INTENT TO KILL that makes homicide illegal, and therefore murder or manslaughter.
Induced abortion is, by definition, intent to kill since it’s not considered successful unless a human heart stops beating and an entire human body is accounted for and discarded.

Murder is worse than rape. Being raped doesnt justify killing an innocent child. Youre a murderer if you do that. Which is worse than a rapist.
If you were a rape victim you'd be saying something completely different. It's like cleaning up the blood stains of your murdered family member- for the rest of your life. Carrying a baby and accepting a baby which came from rape is an extremely difficult thing to do. Unless you've been placed in that situation, your opinion means f all.
@@khanp2420Do you know what it feels like to be murdered? To suffocate, or drown or be strangled? You could even be tortured or beaten up before the pain of death. It would hurt even more, to know how much your death would affect your loved ones… they would cry and cry and shove down the pain but the grief would always stick with them. Some people are abused for years before finally being killed. There’s a reason why people scream. It hurts… it hurts so bad that your body shuts down and you close your eyes forever. Being SA is a different kind of pain. But in my opinion it isn’t as painful as death. Even with the mental and possibly physical scars it may leave you with. I know this may not be true for everyone but I think a lot of people would rather be SA than die.
