There's a setup I didn't end up including in the mortefi/jiyan/verina team because I don't think it's generally that worth doing unless you're on high con jiyan, but there's also an argument for it if your jiyan is c0 but your mortefi is too, as his personal damage isn't as high. It REQUIRES Cadenza, the concerto weapon, at refinement 2 or higher. The overall rotation is mostly the same, but you do a triple swap from jiyan into mortefi into verina at the very beginning to generate more concerto. Once you swap from verina to mortefi to trigger his intro, you do the same skill -> forte skill -> swap into jiyan -> swap back, but this time, you won't need to do a second forte skill. You'll be generating less resonance energy for both your mortefi and jiyan, so both of their ER requirements will go up, but in exchange, you get to swap out of mortefi and into jiyan earlier, making your rotation shorter.

Helped me moving the char. icons on the left side under the map( use the left hand to move/dodge and swap). I also moved the grapple closer to the top right above the jump one. Felt like it’s more intuitive
Best Overworld team for me (and overall my fav) - Double Havoc with Danjin and Rover. Main reason - double Dreamless swap basically deletes everything. And if not - Danjin is not ult reliant to deal dmg, has to most snapiest dodges plus thanks to her first passives her dodges actually increase her dmg and reduce her fieldtime. And in harder content it just works so well. Healer stuff - swap to Danjin and build stuff on her then swap to Rover (that order since she has Havoc Deepen outro) her his shorter burst focused rotation.
nah danjin is awful for exploration, low health and gets killed easily while fighting multiple mobs its not possible to dodge every attack from all sides

Despite disagreeing with you on multiple things, especially related to Wanderer, I am really glad you are making WW vids now. Biggest reason why I never fully got invested in the game was coz there were a lot of things going on fr but I didn't have the patience to read the in game tooltip essays. Your video on the energy issue alone just reminded me why I couldn't bother with other CC. Most of the people in CC sphere are just too loud now and I don't wanna hear people screech or explain things in a way which expects me to know wtf do the terms even mean.

I haven't done deep dive into teambuilding, nor have I tried all the characters, but in terms of overworld, I'm currently finding Chixia + Rover to be comfy. Also more of this type of video is very much desired.

My overworld team: Jiyan and S5 Aalto w/ Cyan Feathered Heron as their main echoes and S6 Yuanwu w/ Bell Borne Geochelone. Will only be pulling resonators if he/she's fun in world explo
Danjin and Havoc Rover is my favorite overworld team, most of the enemies can't survive double dreamless so you can pretty much kill anything in decent AoE range on 20ish sec cooldown. Having consistent dmg source from danjin and nuke hmc ult is really nice cover situations when echoes are on cooldown
In overlord (and I guess my main team right now) is Havoc Rover, Yinlin and Jianxin I feel like Jianxin is a super fun character with great supportive abilities, even if she doesn't buff you as much as Baihzi or Verina. Havoc Rover is just solid and Yinlin feels very fun to use. I have a few other characters like Encore, Calcharo, Mortefi, Verina and Sanhua that I'm building up. I have Jiyan and he's level 1 because he seems boring
Tbh, i feel like ww, is more char focused rather than team focused, synergy and reactions in genshin. I like that approach, some chars have longer combos, while others have shorter ones. Yes u have the buffs, but those are really short when swapping. Let's see how the game progresses. Thanks to the alloy event, i got to test yinling and encore, before i pulled them, seems to work fine for now.
I still can't understand how no one said the obvious thing: You are not tied to one single playstyle on a character/team. Play quickswap Yinlin Calcharo until enemy is in knockdown or you can facetank and outheal on the next rotation - then go all three DMs chain.
I really liked Jiyan, Aalto and Encore in the story, so I've been dragging them around everywhere in the overworld, swapping them around like crazy, so all three of them are on the screen most of the time. It's fun and funny, and always makes me think 'FCK THAT GUY' no matter who I fight. Great game 👍🫡
I actually like the fact that you can’t really quick swap. Quick swap essentially made Genshin combat redundant because most of your team serves no purpose other than ulting or using their skill. In wuwe, you still have downtime so you need to worry about your the damage of your other units
Im really happy you'll continue doing Wuwa content. My favorite team is Verina, Sanhua and Danjin and now i know Verina's cancels it would be a lot better because since i have her i feel that her going into the air is pure cancer.
For overworld, I've been using Havoc Rover, Yinlin, and Jianxin. Jianxin's grouping is nice as well as being able to break rocks very efficiently imo. Yinlin is Yinlin, and right now, I've been using Mech Abomination on her cuz that fast aoe in overworld is nice. Havoc Rover I've just been using cuz having a dps that's not that burst reliant in overworld is nice, but I think I might be trying out Encore more cuz Inferno Rider is speed. Finnaly, I was preaching for Chixia as eplo unit from the day 3 of the game. Atm my team is Chixia, Yinlin, /Baizhi cos she is hot and you dont need heals or dmg/ Scenario 1 single Elite enemy - Chixia skill, slides you to the enemy, 2-3 inferno raiders on poor elite head, swap to Yinlit, skill, skill. elite dead. scenario 2 mobs + elite and Chixia burst is up. You go in the middle, press ult... collect echoes. scenario 3 mobs elites, chixia ult is not up - Chixia skill, skill, qswap you yinlin - skill, burst, few BA, skill into heavy, chixia = collect scenario 4. enemies are around. chixia hold skill -she autotargets and destroys,
I have the same problem with Jiyan as with Xiao: I don't wanna use the Ult to kill the enemy in 1 attack (and have to recharge ult again), so I just spam NA and E and therefore I'm relativly slow...
Definitely interested in more team rotation videos, they are really helpful. I’m playing encore + verina and havoc mc + danjin but I have no idea what to do for a third team for tower Encore is super fun to play in overworld, love her.

Is Taoqi one of the characters that you just shouldn't bother trying to play in meta? She's my favorite and I'm going to be using her regardless so it would honestly be very freeing to just not even think about trying to push tower or whatever for a while

And yeah Jiyan feels awful in the overworld, no idea why people run him, even his mobility stuff is mostly useless

about to start playing so i dont have a favorite overworld team but its def going to be a team that isnt ult reliant (it probably exists)
