I think this is the 1st time I watch a yinlin guide that explain why her 2nd passive not work. Man that completely rendered any other rotation useless coz most guide assumed we only need 2 E to activate the passive. 😅
Honestly the most comprehensive yet simple guide with clear visuals. Other guides just bombards you with wall of text and a random gameplay in the background. Im subbing. Keep it up!
Bro paces and structures his videos so well I don't even need to put it on 1.5 speed to not get bored nor rewind to understand what was being said lmao
great fkin video. Please post more, it seems like you're the first reliable source of information. I would like to see Jiyan Guide, Calcharo, Encore and Jinhsi as soon as she's released. Keep it up!
Nice. clearly a step above other guide makers. I love that you walk through what buffs get activated and when from her kit, weapons, echoes, etc. subbed.
Love your guides, straight to the point and with good information regarding rotations and swap cancels. Please keep making more of these in the future, cheers!
This was a really effective video. Everything I needed to know (rotation, weapon, and resonance impact, as well as teams) and with good information flow and no time wasted. I hope to find a Calcharo video like this.
Thank god this guide exists to clear the misconception. I do this myself since day 1, ever since I read her kit, but I happened to check Prydwen today out of curiosity. Their rotation is SO BAD that I wanted to see if it really was the best. Searching on YT led me to this video, and I'm glad this exists and confirmed my initial rotation.
honestly god character guide would keep in tune for your other upcoming character guides if you plan to do them overall you're one of the best character guide i've seen rn
You are the best wuwa channel based on this single video. Clear, concise and articulate. Subscribed. Do more guides like this. I’d take calcharo! Great video
Please keep making videos. You've got that great balance of content, delivery, and pacing. Without naming other CCs, you've got the edge as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for what you do!
I usually look at these guides to see if there's new information I didn't find by myself, and I'm happy I found this one. Didn't know her liberation snapshotted buffs, which actually changes my rotation. Great info in this video.
Amazing. This is honestly something that needs to be covered more in a game like wuwa. The rotations for min maxing is what I've been looking for. Hopefully you do this for other characters like encore
This is so incredibly helpful! I'd absolutely love to hear your take on how to play Calcharo, since it is so confusing whether to play him as a quickswap or as a hypercarry. He feels so complex and it'd be nice to get some discussion about his different possible rotations.
Imo you make by far the best guides for Wuwa that I saw so far, on-point, not long, overcomplicated and explain everything that needs to be explained. The only thing that I would personally appreciate more is an explanation for the ER requirements to fill the ultimate and concerto, I often find the ER requirements running around but hardly saw an explanation of why I need that ER which is why I particolary liked the Verina rotation video since it explained each step of why that rotation reach 100 concerto energy but that's just my nitpick especially when Concert and ER requirements are also team dependant LOL Since Moonlight is slightly better than Void thunder on Yinlin only when Calcharo has his 5* weapon I assume with a BP weapon on Calcharo Void thunder is better, right? Do you know how much? That being said I love to play Calcharo but it feels a bit sad that in Hologram it's really hard to pull it off 3 Death messanger each ult unless the enemy is staggered, my Havoc MC clear the same fight in 40 seconds less compared to Calcharo just because she has such a short dps window unlike him and even has worse stats
Yes, Void Thunder value goes up the "worse" Calcharos weapon, but I can't tell you exactly how much with the BP weapon specifically. Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely go void thunder because it's just better in aoe I believe Single target perfect rotation Calcharo makes moonlight better but that's too specific honestly
@@scorlord466 if you dont have her signature and are using the keeper rectifier your yinlin will deal negative dmg so you might as well run moonlit cause even a 2 DM calc rotation will outdamage her at that point. The sig is just too far ahead of every other option that if you dont have it her dmg becomes pretty pathetic. Not to mention its way easier to farm 1 moonlit + 1 thunder than 2 thunder so your moonlit probably has better stats and can be shared with other units. In aoe the dmg loss is obviously gonna be more but I found that she is so good in aoe and the aoe floors are usually easier anyway so even with moonlit you have more than enough dmg. So you should try to optimize single target and moonlight wins unless your yinlin is way better investment than calcharo.
Interesting, but that sounds absurd to me, if her damage without sig is so bad then the character is just not worth it and playing a 4 star character with moonlit will be the same if not better which is weird considering how high Yinlin is rated on every tierlist with or without her sig.while investing in both Yinlin and Calcharo is harder I think it will actually be worth it in the long run especially considering people are clearing endgame content while being under leveled currently. @@hansbernd49
thank you! i'm so glad youtube recommended me this, also just finished grinding for void thunder set(not the bis of bis but i'm satisfied) ahhhhhh wish i can get a dupe, i love everything about her, currently my main dps despite having built calcharo with verdant summit, and i didn't even know that the passives boost her c.rate and electro bonus further huhu
You have the best guide out there! You have 2 out of 3 of my favorite characters in (Sanhua and Yinlin). Please do Encore next, specifically quick swap Encore 🙇.
I'm always been a TC addicted, and this guide is by FAR the best written and on point I saw about Yinlin. Better ti wait a couple of days and be on point, rather then pubblic trash content. GG subbed ;)
LOVE this content. I hope we see more for future characters! I have been trying out various rotations with cal/yin/verina and wasn't sure if it was optimal or not.
This was the clearest guide for yinlin so far. I wish you can do a short guide for calcharo as well. Like, when is it viable to swap cancel while playing clacharo etc
the great thing about moonlit is you either already built them or you are on your way to build them for your other sub dps, and knowing the damage difference isn't too crazy i think this echo set is the most efficient one to farm for now
To Cancel BA3 into HA the fast way - tap 1 = basic atk 1 -tap 2 = basic atk 2 - during animation of basic atk 2, tap 3 to queue in basic 3 - then quickly tap and hold down = you get basic atk 3 and heavy attack spin happens at the same time. Easier and comfier trick but not as quick - tap 1 = basic atk 1 - tap 2 and pause abit until you see the moment of 2nd slash finishes = basic atk 2 complete animation - tap and hold right away = basic 3 and heavy atk spin happens at the same time too.
Another goated video. I was just discussing the difference between Tempest and Heron sets yesterday with my friends. I will share this with them, because I'm pretty sure, regardless of build, we are all doing Yinlin's rotation wrong 😂
thank you for this guide! ngl, she's been so nice to use Ive been fighting suboptimally, noticing the red mark but never looking it up lol. My biggest worry skill wise is always "gotta use skill2 before its window disappear" but it seems you can weave enough attacks beforehand
the point of going moonlit is that she's on subdps role and if u want 60% elec dmg on the 3 cost, u ONLY need to grind that as the 4 cost and 1 cost moonlit is share-able with other subdps . meanwhile u r doubling the grind if u run Void Thunder. Basically grinding 2 calcharo.
Very good guide. Kudos for rotation details and graphs. Tuns out I was playing wrong all this time XD Kinda surprised, that Intro-Skill-Skill isn't optimal.
Do you have intention to do this sort of stat break down for other resonators? Would love to see more breakdowns for each character. My friend and I did a electro Yuanwu, moonlit Taoqi, +dps team set up because he got RC6 yuanwu and made the realization just how powerful non standard damage scaling can be so it would be interesting to see damage breakdowns for those those types of characters (Baizhi especially since everyone is clearly on the Verina train)
Great video, thanks. Especially the explanation that skill 2 buff doesn't work when red sinner marks. No other content creator has mentioned this. Most even recommend skill 1 into skill 2 immediately.
Apparently for void thunder buff stacks, one is specific to skill and one is specific to heavy attack. You cant get both stacks from casting skill twice.
Thank you, I completely missed this. 2nd stack only activates on the Forte then, OR on the 3BA into Heavy attack cancel. If only all Echo sets could activate the full buff on Intro like Aero and Spectro...
4:20 what do you mean when make sure the ability connects to get both stacks of stringmaster? isn't only resonance 1 used so far, how does it trigger both stacks?
Intro echo E1 R na/ha x4 E2 F because S6 and this is one of the most concise ways to use your S6 bonus on ult without drastic changes to field time. Also i dont use dudes so usually i just run a quick swap party with rover/encore and velina/jianxin, which does not have a set rotation.
Another tip if your playing tower its much better to use yang yang or joanxin why? After casting all of yinlin basic and lib skills try to use her hold attack to it you will have outro skill then switch with yang yang or jianxin use a bit combo then ult or pull your enemy then switch to yinlin 2 basic attack 2 liberation skill then ult then the hold again then outro with encore or cal then full combo with them is also easy to clean your enemies with that combo rotation
This is fantastic, do you have one for Jiyan as well? I know he's fairly simple to use, but I'd love to see the damage scaling and where the efficiencies are (I already cancel his last atk during ult with skill, but I'd love to see optimization) and the damage diffs around his dupes would also be amazing. Thanks for this anyway, I was looking to see how long Yinlin should be on field if Calcharo is main dps.
Thank you so much for the guide! This helpes a lot! :) Would the rotation stay the same with a S6 Yinlin too? Or are there any rotation changes Depending on what Resonance chain she's on?
So I asked around a bit and it seems like her S6 lightning truly only triggers on basic attacks (not on counter or heavy) so baking in 4BA would be better.
What is your opinion on using Flautist echo instead of Tempest Menphis? The animation lock is not as big and it also gives a concerto energy boost. It was an idea I saw brought up on another Yinlin rotation where she follows: Intro -> E1 -> E2 -> Flautist Echo -> Ultimate -> Forte Heavy Attack -> Swap with full concerto
You use Moonlit Cloud because it provides a great damage buff to the main DPS, I use Moonlit Cloud because the extra energy regen let's me see Yinlins Liberation Animation book jiggle more often. We are not the same.
Great guide, moonlit is much better tbh. Thankful that I got that set first. Also I did go on her sig, I don't mind skipping changli's sig since she can be eog.
5:23 I always felt like my characters are tankier during the echo animation , but i wasn't sure about that lol , and sometimes when I wasn't taking damage I thoughts that the boss missed their attack 😂 this is cool info to know , Thanks
Just in case anyone is curious I tested and her S5 will work on purple or red marks! Great guide. I'm really curious to understand how her S2 actually changes her energy needs in a typical Calcharo team.
Oh, I didnt know that after E1, you get both stack of stringmaster passive. Did you test it? Does it count each damage tick/instance as 1 stack? So E1 does 3 tick right? anyway, really good guide with insight.
Would love a Calcharo / Yinlin guide for rotation, like is it worth it to swap cancel his animations during his ultimate considering you lose out on Yinlin outro buff but adds a bit of dmg from her ? Things of that nature. Nice guide btw :)
How does her ultimate work, like, is it a massive aoe around her hitting all mobs in a range, or does it focus on one monster and creates aoe around it? at times she wipes the whole screen with ulti and at times she hits only 1 mob for me. Also spoiler for near future: Next rover is going to be electro (according to leaks and game files [Glacio one got removed from game files and changed with Electro after yinlins banner], seeing how rover is a ult burst character, Im pretty sure its being done so that people who rolled yinlin aren't forced to get calcharo and play a male character. which basically means yinlin will get a free unit that will empower her even more :)
Ultimate targets one enemy (auto-targeting can mess things up) and creates an aoe around it, so it's best to use it when enemies are still stacked together
how to use yinlin outro?, everytime i use her outro / intro into calcharo . my calcharo doesnt get the electro and liberation buff at all, it still at 70%
Great detailed guide! Hope you’d do more with other characters. But does anyone know how much the dmg loss if i just EE on yinlin and not care about the buffs of her passives? I really enjoy swap cancelling her long animations.
i also watch the verina rotation and helped me a lot since it always takes too long to build up her outro energy when i used her. but i'd like to ask if i should just keep doing this when using with calc and verina or there is more better rotation for the three of them.
Will you please check whether both Void Thunder stacks are stacked or not after using both skills cast without using heavy attack, since it isn't happening for me. I need to use a heavy attack to get a 2nd +15% electro dmg bonus.
I didn't get this at first either... The wording they use is very convoluted but basically the system in its entirety is called the "Resonance Chain" but each node on it is a "Sequence", thus S1,2,...
Her Intro allows you to go straight into the last stage of her basic attacks (the 4th basic attack). So you're only adding one basic attack after the Intro, and since it's the 4th it generates a good chunk of concerto and res energy as a failsafe should you fall short
imo if you swap resonator withouth having your concerto energy full you should loose all so far gathered energy on that character as a penalty toughts?
I think this is the 1st time I watch a yinlin guide that explain why her 2nd passive not work.
Man that completely rendered any other rotation useless coz most guide assumed we only need 2 E to activate the passive. 😅

Great guide. I'm really curious to understand how her S2 actually changes her energy needs in a typical Calcharo team.
calcharro next please and how the synergy works with yinlin
Oh, I didnt know that after E1, you get both stack of stringmaster passive. Did you test it? Does it count each damage tick/instance as 1 stack? So E1 does 3 tick right?
anyway, really good guide with insight.
Would love a Calcharo / Yinlin guide for rotation, like is it worth it to swap cancel his animations during his ultimate considering you lose out on Yinlin outro buff but adds a bit of dmg from her ? Things of that nature.
Nice guide btw :)
I was wondering why I wouldn't get the off field lightning. Awesome video
How does her ultimate work, like, is it a massive aoe around her hitting all mobs in a range, or does it focus on one monster and creates aoe around it?
at times she wipes the whole screen with ulti and at times she hits only 1 mob for me.
Also spoiler for near future:

6:04 why ult then 4 hit. Isnt ult part of electromagnetic blast like you said in 2:05
Ult takes away one Electromagnetic Blast Stack, so you only need 3BAs afterwards to clear them all. If you don't ult you need 4BA or 3BA->Heavy
I've seen some people recommend the Mech Abomination set. Were they wrong or is it usable?
Bold of you to assume that I have Stringmaster on Yinlin(I don't have string master at all😭)
i also watch the verina rotation and helped me a lot since it always takes too long to build up her outro energy when i used her. but i'd like to ask if i should just keep doing this when using with calc and verina or there is more better rotation for the three of them.
Can you do the same style of guide for calcharo?
Comparing to other yinlin rotation video guide is this actually the best one?
Will you please check whether both Void Thunder stacks are stacked or not after using both skills cast without using heavy attack, since it isn't happening for me. I need to use a heavy attack to get a 2nd +15% electro dmg bonus.
just do heavy attack first then skill if you dont want to stress bout it
Nice
dumb question here.. why resonance chain got call by "S"? not like "R"(resonance) or "C" (chain), sorry i'm new to this genre
I didn't get this at first either... The wording they use is very convoluted but basically the system in its entirety is called the "Resonance Chain" but each node on it is a "Sequence", thus S1,2,...
At 6:12, what is the purpose of doing 4 aas right after intro? Am i not supposed to skill right after an then use the 4 basics?
Her Intro allows you to go straight into the last stage of her basic attacks (the 4th basic attack). So you're only adding one basic attack after the Intro, and since it's the 4th it generates a good chunk of concerto and res energy as a failsafe should you fall short
Can you do one of these for Encore and Danjin, this is really good. Thank you
I like to ult before forte because i use forte last for the energy
imo if you swap resonator withouth having your concerto energy full you should loose all so far gathered energy on that character as a penalty toughts?
try replacing the 4 basic attacks with 4 jump attacks.
