Finally! An actually useful video about this game's mechanics. Rather than videos talking about the mathematically optimal dps sequences that are literally impossible to do because the enemies don't just stand still and do nothing.
In a Jiyan-Mortefi-Verina Team, you don't want to start with Verina, because you usually always start with 0 Concerto on everyone (atleast in ToA, which will be the main place where you need to optimize to begin with anyway). When you switch over to Verina in battle, she already attacks with her BA 3, meaning you only need 2 more attacks to get her BA 5, which grants you a stack on your Forte, which gives you concerto energy and resonance energy, so that with the Variation weapon (her BiS so far), she can easily already start a chain of outro-intro skills (and get her buff). Mortefi is easily able to get his Concerto up this way, in which case you also get to Jiyan faster
Damn this is literally informative I get some of the mechanics but things like concerto energy and resonance energy being recharge even off field is so new thanks for this vid hope to see more cuz your explaination is more fluid and less boring than other guiders

I expect ZZZ to be cool for a week or so, but then I probably drop it like HSR. I've heard ZZZ didn't have a lot of content in cbt and while the combat seems to be satisfying (especially the counter sound), it got repetitive/easy (with which I mean complexity is lacking) pretty quickly for some people, but we'll see.
What a coincidence! I just searched about energy related infos for wuwa couple hours ago, but there's not much info about it. There's only numbers showing in prydwen and thats it, no explanation. "You just need to buff me more. I can deal more damage with Static Mist." I can't pull for Static Mist. I don't have enough Astrite. He grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." He grabs his guns. He says "Silence!" There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure coordinated attack fusion damage. What a cruel world.
Heyo, just wanna clarify something You mentioned that the off-field chara gets 50% of whatever the on-field chara generates for thenselves. Does this mean the off-field charas will receive more ult energy if the turn n-field chara has more ER? or is the 50% solely based off of base generation and is only influenced by the off-field charas own ER Thanks!
It's 50% of base generation, then each character multiplies it by their own ER. Your active character's ER won't affect your inactive characters' energy generation!

One complication to building Energy Recharge is that you don't always want to intro skill when you're swapping, especially for swap combos. Intro/outro can interrupt the rhythm of the combo and keep you from getting as much valuable field time as needed. Basically, plan around that.
wait you can swap cancel heron? doesnt that mean you lost the buff? because in the description, it clearly said AFTER the initial hit. By swaping and doing outro early, you lost the buff right?

Alternative title idea : "How to charge your ultimate faster" or something along those lines might be more appealing to people who dont already ask themselves about the energy, gets them into that aspect
This is strictly false. Verina buff does NOT disappear after swapping, she is special. Other characters DO lose the outro buff, echo buff like Heron is lost on swap as well. However Verina buff is permanent for the duration no matter how many times you swap.
maybe read actual skill description? it does not disappear nor that it specifically states that its lost upon switching characters.. the unit that does that is baizhi where it it lost upon switching.. stop spreading misinformation
When I started playing WuWa I was so confused about these energy mechanics... and I still am. So, if Concerto Energy is not affected by Energy Recharge, then why the f#*k is it called "Energy" at all!??? Why not call it Team Swap Meter, Switch Gauge... Mana... Social Anxiety... Concentration... anything but energy. And if there are only 2 kinds of energy, then what the f#*k is the bar above the health bar ??? (Forte stacks)

@@theduelist92intro skill will activates as long as the concerto bar of the unit that performs outro is full meaning the next character's concerto bar does not matter nor it will be consumed upon using its intro skill
His skill (the base one, not the forte one) grants him increased forte generation for 5s. This means you can do intro -> skill (intro+skill is enough forte to fill your bar) -> forte skill -> n4 -> forte skill. Add in your ult, and that's 100 concerto!
I'm Lvl42 and I still didn't knew what a Concerto was. In my mind Outro Skills were conditionless and Intro Skills just activated whenever they felt like it.

Wiki ahh energy system. Each attack, skill, echo and combat action having it's individual friggin decimal value of energy generation attached (and hidden) is such garbage design, and particularly predatory considering it's attached to gacha content. Genshin also does quite a bit of oversimplification with it's elemental damage system but energy generation has instant visual feedback that anyone can understand and use: more particles = better energy. Once this game gets 60+ characters team building and stat balance is going to get beyond dank.

Cool video. Too bad I quit WuWa because of how bad Yinlins story quest was. Even being lucky enough to get both Jiyan and Yinlin on my free pulls isnt enough to make put myself through another bad story quest.
@@RavenShugo Not sure if serious or trolling because i met someone who actually enjoyed it. I needed multiple videos on 2nd screen as a distraction and it still felt like an eternity. The endless yapping didn't stop. I enjoyed yinlins in jiyans quite a lot. They were interesting. Lingyangs wasn't that great but the special dungeon and gameplay was actually good so it made up for it. Seriously that story dungeon was so pretty it almost excused the story.

I think what was lacking is proper camera angles, or better movements of characters. Still it's much better, than same old 5 moves in genshin, where devs are so lazy, they just reuse them over and over again....

They end up being a lot more possible than they seem since bosses tend to target the resonator you switched from target than the one you're on.

It's always based on the base value. The on-field character will gain 100%, the off-field character 50%, multiplied with their respective ER.
