I’ve always been fascinated by Iran. It’s hard to look the other way when you hear things in the media, but this video confirms what I’ve always thought. It’s a beautiful place filled with beautiful people. I wish Tehran was a globally recognized hub of culture that could serve as a friendly bridge from the west to the east. But politics and religion ruin everything…for everyone. So much history rooted in academia, the arts, and so forth. I’m afraid as an American, I’ll never be welcomed there. Doesn’t stop me from enjoying their food and cinema. I hope one day the world can see eye to eye. I’m only 24, so maybe there’s hope.
Iran has his own charms, look at the Zoroastrianism or Persian earlier culture.

My heart is aching for Iran.. I've not been able to visit my homeland thanks to the compulsory military service law. If i enter Iran with my European passport i wont be able to leave until i fullfill a two year military service duty. Thank you for uploading these amazing videos, i might not be able to visit but atleast i can experience Tehran through this video.

Great video clip. I really enjoyed it. There are even street musicians, and the colors and shopping window displays are very nice. I also noticed that not every woman was wearing a hijab, probably quite liberal in that regard in Teheran. I really liked the atmosphere, peaceful and orderly. I would love to visit Teheran and Iran in general. Thanks so much for showing the world how it looks there when we are usually just hearing bad news from the Islamic republic.

A fine Outstanding work, this is one of a kind in its mellow educational aspect and looking to watch more of the series in the future. Only one thing I wanted to suggest and thats if it’s technically possible for the producer I like to see a transposed (transparent)map of Tehran on one side of the video indicating the precise geographical point being narrated by the narrator as he moves from point to another in the city.

I've said it before, but it must come as a surprise to many people who think of Iran either as a tyrannical religious dictatorship or as a desperately poor, impoverished country how much like, well, like any thriving Western city Tehran is - in fact better than many, as you'll rarely see homeless or drug addicts on the streets

I live in Tehran. Iran is only good when you have a lot of money. If you have little money, you will be miserable here.But if you live outside of Iran and have a dollar income, Iran is a great country to travel
