  • 2 videos in 1! Follows CA-237 east from its western to eastern termini, and CA-87 from its northern to southern termini. The camera is rather unstable in this video, fortunately that will be much less of an issue in future Bay vids.

How did I miss this? I don't remember this ever showing up in my subscription list. Well anyway, great video as always. Flashing arrows FTW!

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but thank you very much Hansel! I appreciate your viewing very much and yeah I loved the idea of flashing arrows when you implemented them, a stroke of genius, lol.

InterstateJD I actually got my inspiration for the flashing arrows from another channel: snownorthbcn, a Spain-based road videographer. He doesn't have as many videos as some of us do, but he surely is no rookie when it comes video editing and road sign-making. He has, IMO, one of the most elegant-looking opening and ending in any road videos I have seen.
Type in "C-25 East Highway along The Guilleries Mountains" on the search bar to see one of his videos. You can right away see his flashing sign at the beginning of the ride. And then, fast forward to about 04:55 and see another unique touch he did. This one is pretty cool :) I have never seen that attempted by any other videographers.

Sorry I missed your first Bay Area vid, hate that YT removed collections and thus it's harder for me to track the guys I watch most. Some great rides and interesting soundtrack. You caught a cleaning crew on CA 87, rare to see that in the middle of the day! You also happened to get on U.S. 101 South at the same spot I did back in 2013 to cap CA 87, very nice!

Thanks Justin! Yeah these rides are short, but still very interesting, particularly CA 87. Silicon Valley definitely has their own brand of freeways, that's for sure!

Nice video. I drive some of these freeways on a daily basis. What were you doing out here? Visiting family??

Yes I was visiting my grandparents out in Cupertino, who have lived there since before Apple, and let me tell you, these are some of the nicest suburbs I have ever been to (housing prices reflect that)! Bay freeways are fun to explore, but I'm sure that's not the case when traffic is being a pain every day, lol. Definitely a different style than Dallas, of which I really look forward to to seeing your productions! Thanks!
