    Work on Scanias every single day, still never get sick of the engine sound.

      @Shona God wants to have a relationship with you.
      God loves you, he didn't spare his own Son Jesus for that reason(John 3:16)
      that died for your mistakes.
      He is not religious.
      He isn't about religion.
      He wants a relationship.
      Even though you sinned awfully against him and he would have to send you to hell, but he is A God of love as the Bible says.
      He wants to be your friend.
      If you'll accept him.
      I learnt it that way.
      We all have our own beliefs
      and that's why we have to trust the only usable source: The HOLY Bible.
      He didn't put a bunch of rules you have to follow,
      It was people that did.
      Those are false.
      Only way you can come to God
      is you coming to his Son, Jesus.
      His only Son died on the cross of Calvary,
      For YOU.
      So you may come to God
      and go to heaven, to be with him.
      God *focuses on the individual* ,and you are that one today.
      He loves you so much,
      He created you,
      He shaped you,
      He formed you.
      Why don't you accept his love today?
      All you have to do
      is to come to the cross
      Ask Jesus for forgiveness by saying you're sorry for your sins.
      That's where the journey of passing from death to life begins!
      He loves us enough to give us a choice: we can ask him to be part of our lives now, and so avoid hell and look forward to enjoying his perfect eternal kingdom, or not.
      We Christains need to speak out.
      If you're a Christian let's speak up for our faith already. We know what is going on in this world is sin, abortion, homosexuality, prosperity gospel...
      Let's do it brethren already.
      If you reject Jesus, I am telling you, you will face the biggest amount of punishment in hell, more than murderers, adulterers, liars constantly gossiping, the proud and the wicked. If you reject Christ God cant forgive you of it until you come truly to Christ.
      Take it seriously, Amen.
      10 at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, 11 to the glory of God the Father.
      Philippians 2:10-‬11 NKJV

    I hate to be that guy, great video nonetheless, but Scanias most powerful engine is 730hp with 3500 torque at 1000-1500rpm, and this famous' V8 story goes all back to the 1969, not 2007 as stated in the video. But I dont know if you mean the euro 4 -6 engines by that. But still a good video keep it up :)

    • @VisioRacer
      @VisioRacer  8 лет назад +7

      Yes, I meant the new V8 engine only by those years otherwise it would not be true. I know there is a little more powerful variant, but if I recall correctly it has larger displacement and I did not want to put such info there and use video of the slower models.

      @NorgesGameren 7 лет назад +1

      Yup the most powerfull modern v8 is 730 that can be chipped to around 1000 hp i have hard, but the displacement of the 730 is the same as the rest ;)

    Absolutely fenomenal! Sadly where I live straight piping is a bit of a problem. If it was as common as in the US I would've straight piped my i5 2.5 TDI straight away. Lovely video, keep it up!

      +supermotardmario TDi engines have a pretty unique sound to them when they are straight piped, it almost sounds as if it has a blow off valve on it from the pressure dumping out of the turbo through the exhaust. Around here people do them on 4 cylinder Volkswagens Bora's, Seat Leon's, Audi A4s ect.I'm not a fan of it, it's kinda like a poor man's job to make your engine sound "nice" (even though it doesn't)
      I'd imagine it sounds a lot better on a i5 TDi engine.. Don't know why he'd straight pipe his van though.

    • @Hekkie
      @Hekkie 8 лет назад

      +supermotardmario haha good question :) as indeed mentioned by Shona, the i5 TDI engine produces quite a desirable tune, especially for a diesel engine. Sadly this engine note is kinda restricted by the stock exhaust system and DPF. Not only would straight piping enhance the engine tune, it would also allow the engine to run more smoothly and thereby increase performance as well. I agree it would be somewhat ridiculous to do this on a van but it's just something about this type of engine some people really like, no matter what vehicle it's powering :)

      +Andrew Smith I don't own one smarty..no diesel including a cummins is not gonna have a ton of power to begin with. but once you tune them that when the 6.0l become faster and better than most others. sure you need to do a couple things to them to make them bulletproof but after that you have the fastest and most capable diesel a person can buy. you can't say the crackle that 6.0l makes is bad, because its freaking awesome. oh and my dad owned a couple of them with basic modifications

    Interesting that the 5.9L Cummins, Peugot's & Audi's racing diesels, Caterpillar, Ford's Powerstroke, GM's/Isuzu's Duramax or Cummin's new 5.0L V8 diesels weren't included.
    I do understand that this is a "best of" and lots of people disagree on what sounds "the best", but for me the only diesel that, sounded remotely like a proper diesel in this video was the 6.7L Cummins (even if the 5.9L beats it by a country mile). The Audi & BMW offerings just sounded like muted versions of their gasoline cousins. The Scania sounded like it was misfiring even though it was working properly. The only Mercedes diesel that was close was the OM629, and even then it was all turbo hiss.

    Cummins is the worst sounding Diesel, IMO. It's just one tone from idle to redline. THe 6.0 Powerstroke is my favorite, but the Duramax and other PowerStrokes are way better than the inline cummins.
