7:48 Don't ever do that in a regular torque converter automatic (regular meaning no launch control). The torque converter will overheat and ultimately blow up very very fast, especially with engines that have a lot of low end torque
what do you think happens when actually using launch control in a car with torque converter? Yes it may put load on your gearbox/drivetrain but a torque converters purpose is slippage. You're most probably not gonna overheat your torque converter doing this... Gearboxes are designed to run at high temperatures and have oil to cater for that so I don't know where you're finding this information.
To my ears, the Alphas always sound best, and for cheap, even if you factor in all the repairs, Mercs come in a close second, always lookin so stylish yet so growly, kinda Japanese if I think about it. The VW V10 sounds like a jet aircraft.

I work for Ford and they don't have the expertise in diesel that PSA group do ( they certainly used to be the best). It's called pooling resource's and sharing engineering know how.

Great sounding... Yeah 3.0t diesel sounds better than 1.4MPI, but why bother with diesels? 😂If you don't drive some 6litre cummins cause you need a truck it is tragic. Just buy V8
Dunno, they sound really awful. That high pitch wheeze is just complete turn-off. I would have expected V8 diesel to sound a bit like old school muscle car, but nope. Maybe it's due to higher compression as muscle cars had none of that.

That Audi 3.0 sounds amazing. Some of the engines shown sounded rough, like they were gas engines misfiring, but the Audi 3.0 was perfect.
