Just came across your channel. I've been wanting to do more in woodworking for 2 years now since I finished my first build. In the process of designing and building my own Workbench at the moment and I plan on using the Dashboard system over the others I've seen. Thanks for this video and more. Great info video. I'm kinda new to woodworking, what are those products used for? Truly sorry for my ignorance.
The components being discussed are part of a a larger product produced by Festool known as an MFT. Its most popular use is as a crosss cut station but can be used as a portable workbench, assembly table and other functions related to woodworking. Thanks for watching!

Any progress on the table?
It's always easier to improve someone else's designs, the hard part is innovation. I see in photography ( my side job) and in hifi (my hobby). This companies make so many products they just aren't willing to spend the money to improve a product that is already selling well.

Yes you can!
Never been a fanboy. I have owned all sorts of products and many of them had shortcomings or faults. I own a few Festool tools. Festool's parallel guides was very poorly designed. The LR32 system kit is way over priced for stamped metal and a bit disappointing. I would like to get the dashbaord rail guide, but with the exchange rate, I can't justify the cost for me. Woodworking is just a hobby. TSO has a great parallel guide system.
