- Everything is strangely wonderful 😅🇺🇸🇨🇦 While I was in Florida I went into Publix, an American Grocery store, to see all the differences from Canada. They have some cool stuff, but also they're missing things that are very important for Canadians!

The, “no bags” killed me 😂
Cheese curds are really popular in the north. Fast food chains like Culvers and Freddy's sell them.
Yea so true
I live in canada but never seen baged milk😂
Really
You live in western Canada by chance?
@@tripleare3699 yes
@@outerjex it's mainly in eastern canada
It’s pretty much ONLY Ontario. People from Ontario think just cause we have it ALL of Canada has it .
Went down to Myrtle Beach & found $40 Canadian one time, I stepped over it, but playing lacrosse all my life in Niagara on the the lake Ontario area, I knew a Canadian bill once I saw it!
Winn Dixie's store brands are sometimes made in Canada, Sunset produce is a Canadian company and I love seeing when items are grown in Canada because it most likely will be from Leamington.
I grew up a few hours away from Windsor and we had a lot of Canadian meat and produce in our local grocery stores
cheese curds in a fridge? This means they sell only spoiled cheese curds. Cold ruins the texture and taste. To stay good they must be kept at room temperature.
Cheese curds in the fridge should be illegal.
@@rg3798 i agree
The chocolate bars here taste like $hit. I miss my eat mores, wunderbars and coffee crisps! lol 😜 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 🍫
No they don’t
@@antoniocasias5545 JMO! Have you tasted any Canadian chocolate bars compared to USA? Just wondering! 😊
@@bubbleshughes6169 yes ma'am
You need to hit a Kwik Star in the Midwest to see milk bags.
You are lucky to find Tim Hortons coffee in Florida, sad to say they don't sell Tim Hortons coffee in my area. Just Dunkin and Starbucks. Also kit kat in America is made by Hershey's☺️.
pretty sure they mostly carry Tims coffee for Quebec snowbirds
I never understood why the U.S. has weird spelling like "flavor" for flavour or "modeling instead of modelling.
Oh, it's nothing really. Just that us Americans made several attempts to become different from the Common Wealth once we split from them!!! 😊🇺🇸❤
@@lookmyrolls6522, Funny you say this. Watch Across The Pond, you'll learn most of the spelling came from the UK. America kept the originals.
Because we are not trying to be French.
You can travel in Canada and not see bagged milk in grocery stores.
Only if you are in Ontario you can find milk bags.
Yes I've lived in 4 provinces and never seen bagged milk in my life
@@NexusO2-Golden_Knight ahh yes I forgot Toronto is the only place in Canada. 😂😂
People think it’s Canadian but it’s really only common here in Ontario.
@@CanadianDupa a lot of the Ontarian’s around me seem to think so, lol.
Only because you're in a Publix! If you look in the International section, you may find a Coffee Crisp!!
Man your gonna flip when you see US Froot Loops
those oreo stick things looks like dunkaroos.
Bagged milk is also in the maritimes along with being in Ontario. Not sure about Quebec though. Other countries also use bagged milk

I usually go for the Dare cookies. They are Canadian made. Do you have them in Canada? Also, there is an organic company with a bunny logo that has all their flour for their pasta Grown in Canada.
Yes we do but Dare is American but uses Canadian serfdom labor like all American companies in Canada
Annie’s makes the best stovetop Mac and cheese! 🤙🤙 and dare cookies are great !
yes milk is not in bags its in plastic containers, also literally nobody knows what cocoa gems are
Try American Corn Pops the cereal. So different than in Canada. Way better in The US!
What everybody don’t know is about the food why it taste so great is what they putting in it.. read the back and you would be surprised. Canada you have clean ingredients in your food.. living healthier then we are,
@theresablaine2789 I know what you mean and that is a fact. I've compared so many things like kraft cheese singles and ketchup and others. I lived in Florida for 2 years for junior high but the rest of my life in Canada.
The corn pops thing is a different shape, texture, it's a whole different cereal though
That was what I was getting at, is how completely different that particular cereal is. In Canada it's all these uniform shaped hard crusty balls, and in the US they are like actually popped corn and all different sizes and shapes.
@theresablaine2789 Canada has laws about how much Trans fats can be in foods and certain fertilizers and pesticides used in American farmers fields are illegal in the rest of the world so yes, In The US the food is dangerous and very high in fat content and other stuff like that
@@OntarioAtOrion you just don’t know I wish I was living out there in Canada just a taste the food, the housing is hard to find now
@@theresablaine2789 if you haven't had Ontario strawberries, you haven't lived. 😁
Canada and Florida have a very strong economic partnership! Specifically Florida and Ontario, too. 😊
Tim Hortons Hasn't been Canadian for a good decade now.
I have never been to Canada but I love a Ceasar.
The Tim Hortons coffee shops were in New England but went out of business
No bags!! 😂😂😂
Favorite Us Spelled Write
In Canada and the Caribbean, we use the Queen's English. So it's "favourite" not "favorite".

Clamato is from New York in 1935...Blended with vodka "Smirnoff Smiler" by Paul Pawlowski. In December 1953 New York
Pre-mixed Clamato is mediocre. Mix your own Caesars! 🤙🤙🤙 NOT Bloody Mary’s. Bloody Mary’s are like ketchup and vodka. You NEED the Clamato.
What would you suggest? I'm going to Niagara falls Canada side this Saturday and Sunday, August 19th and 20th
Processed food !
Only Ontario has bagged milk.
Bagged milk is in the maritimes also.
Hate to tell you but Kraft Mac and Cheese is still Kraft Dinner. Same company different names
Check the ingredients, there are some differences
@OntarioAtOrion not enough to make a difference and in Canada they aren't legally allowed to show all the ingredients on the packaging
@OntarioAtOrion meaning that they legally don't have to show all of the ingredients on the packaging
@@Indah_Lusion huh? That seems wrong 😕 😳
@@OntarioAtOrion yep but it is true
But isn’t that only in the northern states, or even north eastern states?
Bro we dont got publix in cali 😭😭
Publix is unironically the best grocery store in the USA, but it's sadly relegated to the SouthEast/Deep South of the US.
Midwest here. I used to live in Florida but moved out recently, and found that Meijer is a fairly close substitute
I'm sad to see Tim's spelled Favourite wrong on the packaging...
i mean if its being sold in America id assume they'd spell favourite with the American spelling
@@z4riii I know...I was just kidding...I really don't care. I pick up on the spelling differences all the time when I'm typing anything into a computer or cellphone and it automatically tries to say it's incorrect.....neighbour, centre, litre, favourite, are all words that make my word processor get mad at me. I know I can probably set it to Canadian English, but I like defying the autocorrect lol
Have a great day!
I live in Canada and never seen milk in a bag
Bagged milk....so wrong 😮
It’s only Ontario. Someone way back in the day realized that transporting bagged milk in the freezing cold led to less broken or damaged jugs. And Ontario ran with it. Now it’s pretty much standard here.
@@Smiththebatactually bagged milk is in Ontario and eastern Canada and there are other countries in the world that uses bagged milk.
"stole one" FBI OPEN UP !!
I believe that it's ya'll spelling favorite wrong. Favorite doesn't the letter u added.
I mean, English came from… England. You guys just decided to drop the U’s in a lot of words.
You didn't have to re-mortgage your house to buy groceries in the US did ya?
canada went crazy on grocery stores. americas stores are nowhere near canadas style. i prefer smaller stores myself. canadas grocery stores are massive. i think 150k feet and larger is common.
Your Costco store model is popular worldwide.
@@JamesBond009 is it really? ive never heard that. is it the size and layout?
@@JamesBond009ya what’s the difference?
We do have smartes the real ones😊
Rockets are not Smarties lmao

See the difference lol
Wait how do you spell favorite?
Favourite
Gettin all offended they spell things differently lol its OK
Is Tim Hortons coffee good?
I love American grocery stores and Florida too!!
Tim Hortons sucks, eh? 🇨🇦
As a Canadian I can say it’s pretty mediocre. ESPECIALLY over the past 15 years. Really gone straight downhill into the pit of “how can we cut costs?”.
tim horton's is overrated
Clamato is American along with 90% of items in Canada
So, just hyper-processed junk "Food". Nothing you've shown was food.
Doubtful he'd have the same reaction seeing carrots, potatoes, and onions.
SMARTIES.... YOU MEAN M&MS... 😂😂😂
Nope. What you call “smarties” are called “Rockets” in Canada.
Smarties are similar to M&Ms.
But honestly M&Ms are way better IMO.
