Good to be clear on your nos. I have quite a few - no florals, spots, ruffles, puff sleeves, pastels, super brights, black, synthetic fabrics, tight or super oversized!
I can totally agree with all the comments underneath, this is so far the most helpful video I've seen in a while. It has helped to me identify things I like and to analyze things I already own and make them work together. Thank you so much for that!
This video is fantastic. I’ve had to pause, think, write down, and think some more repeatedly throughout. I’ve gotten some clarity I hadn’t had before.
Totally agree with the real you, not fantasy. For years I bought what I wanted to look like then had no clothes for my real life(casual, outdoors and fundraiser parties-2 ends of the spectrum).
Thank goodness I’ve already been thru these things and I have a wardrobe that I really love. I worked hard these last 3 years to get here. This year will be a low buy for me so I only have 3 planned purchases for this entire year. One pair of shoes and two clothing items.
Jeans are comfy clothes. If your jeans aren't comfortable, that's a problem - and that's from someone who was buying my own jeans in the 80s, when all jeans were 'rigid.' Same goes for trousers.
Agree with the amount of ads on pintrest. I find that now I have an over-abundance of inspiration pictures on my seasonal boards, so if I am overwhelmed with pintrest, I just go into my closet and start trying things on based on how I want to feel 😊
The ads are out of control on Pinterest! And I search for very specific outfit ideas, I don't see how that would cut the ads 🤔 I see them no matter what I search. I'm over it. Love your idea of going back to real life lol

My jeans are very comfortable, I just don't actively choose to lounge in them when there are better options imo :) glad they work for you

I love that you know exactly what to do when you feel that way :)
