Just purchased a used A Liner. Making the list of items to place in the trailer to be comfortable. Looking to do exactly what you’re doing. So, I’ll follow you.

Looks like a beautiful campground. I got my Aliner about a month ago and so far I'm loving it. It's the lightest weight Scout Lite base model cuz that's all my van could tow. Although I could have got the Ranger 10 except it would have decreased my cargo carrying capacity. No built-in fridge, no built-in heater, no built in stove and actually I'm finding that to be okay. I have a portable stove I can sit on the counter and use indoors or outdoors. If I'm hooked up to an electric site I've got a small electric space heater or I can just use my stove. I got a 12 volt fridge. Turned the dinette into a full-time bed and what they call the bunk on the other side is now just a place for kitchen stuff and clothing. I'm amazed at actually how much storage space there is in here. And I do the bucket under the sink drain outside too. When I was first looking at this unit I did find it difficult for me to set up and take down and the dealership was really nice and devised a pole for me that helps push it up and pull it down. I also find it easy to tow and with practice it's getting pretty easy to back up too. Happy travels and thanks for your videos!

That is really exciting to have your own trailer and be able to handle it easily. I find it just as easy to pack my propane camp stove to cook, I prefer cooking outside anyway, that’s why I go camping lol!
I also prefer the smaller models. It’s all I need to sleep in and safer for towing. And you’re right, the more you do it, the easier it gets. I’m happy for you, I hope you have a great summer. Happy camping!!!

Good to hear it gets easier to back up! I’ve had mine out just a few nites so far but have more trips coming up. I have a scout lite and just love her so much! 40 years of tent camping!!! It’s time for me to get off the ground already.

Do you wipe down the aliner before you drop it to go home after its rained?

Yes, if it’s wet when I take it down. If it’s still raining on the trip back I’ll park it in the garage, set it back up and wipe it clean again.
