Buy a couple of those super-duper expandable curtain rods at home depot and install them between the sidewalls. adds hanger space as well as wind protection
Yes it’s good to take off regularly just to get in practice and try different scenarios. I enjoyed the video and I like walking in cemeteries too. Have you read Peter Beagle’s Fine and Private Place? You might enjoy it.
You're handling the Aliner well and picking out some great spots to enjoy it. Looked like typical Pacific Northwest weather, blue sky and relaxing rain..
So excited for your upcoming trip too! That’s why I went mid-winter lol! I had a blast even though I didn’t stay overnight, it was SO worth the trip. Have fun! Wish you could share your trip!
What an awesome camping spot! And beautiful views! Glad you didn't get any snow. Have you heard anything about an Aframe get together this year here in the Northwest?
Thank you, it was a great find! No, I haven’t. Most of them are back east. There are Facebook groups if you follow them, I bet you could find out if there are.
Any recommendations for a late winter/early spring camping spot? Beverly Beach is still closed, and I can't find out if the Port of Newport has their facilities open yet. I know the weather will be getting better (eventually), I am just impatient to go camping. John
Hi John, did you call the Port of Newport RV park? They are open year round. You can get the number on the website. There’s also South Beach campground in Newport, I like both of those place. Good luck, I hope you get out there camping!
Maybe get some sort of aluminum pole that can be fit between the walls to protect the walls from caving in. I still haven't done that on mine, but will do sometime soon. My latest video from Valley of Fire shows that mod.
@@JofoTubin 😂 Sounds like you’re speaking from experience! I have a shower rod but the springs in those are not strong enough to support the sidewalls in high winds. And I have the shower rod fall on my head a few times 😂
Your camper is the same as mine. Looks great but you really should get a wind pole to brace your side walls. It is a really easy mod and cost about $15.00 if you get the aluminum pole at HD. Well worth it for the peace of mind. And if you get 2 and put them a couple of feet apart near the peak of the A walls you can use it for shelf space which comes in very handy on long trips. Enjoy!
96 in. W White Heavy-Duty Steel Closet Rod $17.97 at HD. / Plastic Pole Sockets White $3.98. Get the ones that have a half open end on one side so you can remove it easily and quickly. I would get two because you can use it as as overhead storage but at least one is a must! @@ruthtrips7391
The only downside I see on aframe camper is strong winds and the sides. Other than that Its the perfect camper for me. Plan on getting one for retirement.
Norma if I had only purchased the $40 painters pole at Home Depot I could have used that to reinforce my sidewalks… I just haven’t done it yet! My own fault! And yes, that’s the only downside 😊
No mine didn’t but that’s all I could imagine as I laid there listening to the wind howl! Aliners do need windkits to prevent risk of the side walls blowing in, yes. Since this trip I have added wind poles.
Beautiful 🤩🌲💕
And glad you put safety first. 🤗💕
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻

Just bought my first camper…an Aliner….heading out next week for my maiden voyage! Your tips and education have been invaluable…thanks so much!
I’m glad my experiences can help others! Congratulations on your new Aliner!! It’s so exciting! Have fun and be safe!!!
Oh how jealous!! I cant wait to get A-Frame camper out this Spring!
Hahaha! I know what you mean, I can’t hardly stand going in and out of mine sitting in my garage, I just HAD to take her out!!!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful spot! Rain in the aframe can be relaxing but the wind can be nerve racking. I have had to pack up once because of wind it was a bummer.
It was a really great spot!
I installed wind poles today!
Thanks for watching 😊

Thanks for watching! And I haven’t read it but I’ll check it out 🙏🏻
I looked up the novel, it sounds enchanting!!!

My maiden trip is in two days with my new Aliner. I am loving your videos.
Thanks! How was your maiden voyage?!!
Waiting for your new Aliner adventures now that spring is here. I am hoping I can find a nice used small Aliner someday just for myself..
I hope so too!
Great video! You’re inspiring me to get out into nature more!
Go for it! It makes me feel good, I think it helps everyone feel better 😊
Thanks 🙏🏼 Get Out Get Away 😊 American 🇺🇸
Good video. I’m thinking of just day trips or overnight at the beach.
Do it! That’s the great thing about these little Aliners, you can easily take them out for a day trip or overnighter. Have fun!
Planning my spring trip... this video is making me want to go sooner :) Great job! Enjoyed your trip!

Get one of each in the bakery
Keep your self from extreme weather just watched a girl Camping out in the desert 🌵 with A liner Disolved in the extreme winds be advised thank you
Thanks Larry, I would do everything I could to avoid extreme weather. These Aliners are not made for it.

Yes! I just need to spend the money!
Two retractable shower rods should do the trick. Just throw them up when it gets windy and...remember to duck!

Wondering what the crop was planted down below your campsite

I know!!! I just haven’t been camping in open air like this before, usually protected by trees. Do you mean the painter poles at HD?

Would like to see a picture of this. Do you mean the triangular side walls or the long sides that form the roof?
Maybe you can take it out again, if you get a break in the weather
Pity about the wind, I would of packed it up and slept in the back of the car.
Hahaaaa! I thought about it but I was so close to home it beaconed to me 😅
I’m looking to buy one of these aliners because a tent is too much for us getting older. My one dilemma is my 6’4” husband. Will he fit?? Lol
The peak is tall. And there are so many different styles of Aliners to choose from. You probably just need to find one that fits! Literally LOL 😊
