DIY? How to Fix a Leaking Shower Faucet- The Easy Way!
Do it yourself they said, it’ll be easy they said! Well I tried… and it wasn’t easy! Not when you own a house built in 1965! I ended up calling the plumber to come out and replace all the old corroded hardware with new pex pipes and modern hardware. Love the results!

15 MPH on the Phantom GoGo A8-Electric Scooter from Costco!
Просмотров 6 тыс.Год назад
If you’re wondering what it looks like to scoot @ 15 miles an hour this vids for you. If you’re wondering if it’s fast enough well… It’s faster than walking that’s for sure. It’s probably faster than a a peddle bike unless you’re working at it. In my opinion 15 mph is just fast enough to have fun, get where you’re going and not worry too much about dying if (when) you crash! #A8electricscooter ...

This scooter was on sale for $349, I want to see if it is worth the money. *After taking it on an extended nighttime run I decided I REALLY like it!* Once you get up to the 15 mph speed it beeps to let you know cruise control is on so you can let off the throttle! The headlights have great coverage and the taillights flash when you brake for excellent visibility. The battery seems to be good to...

Happy New Year to you also -- except it just turned 2025 now! ;-) -- BR
Very tidy job! You found a really good plumber. I know life can get in the way sometimes, but what happened to those beautiful camping trips? We need more of that aframe therapy.
I need more too! I don’t post every trip because I frequent the same places, but I’ll video my next one just to share ☺️ Thanks for watching!
Ms ruth , you are sure one beautiful lady! have my 25 year old self thinking if i can ever take a trip with you haha , habe a blessed day thank you for the review 💐
Very sweet, thank you Carlos ☺️
Oddly. the only thing you don't need4 is no man.
Hi I really enjoyed your video. I am 77 years old lost my husband of 50 years in February. We did a lot of camping and I just wasn’t ready to stop. So I just recently purchased a A-Line camper. I have had it on only one try but just love it. Thank you for making me feel like I am not alone out there. Happy Travels.
Cynthia, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m very happy to hear you’re continuing to follow your passion! I’m glad my video was helpful. It’s encouraging to hear other solo women of mature age are still getting out there!!! Safe travels! 🙏🏻☺️
Where is your knee and wrist guards?
I have them now, I didn’t on day one lol! Thanks for looking out for my safety 🙏🏻
I have been using the same scooter for 1 year, today I was riding it, and the speed on HI became not 15 but 8, the battery charge began to discharge very quickly, what could be the reason?
I think cold weather affects the battery, is it cold where you’re at?
@ruthtrips7391 No! I used it in the summer, it was hot outside, the temperature was not cold
Wow - what a helpful video. I too am new to trailer camping, trailer pulling, but I've got an itch to do it. I say 'new', but I haven't even started yet - don't have the trailer yet and I'm filled with angst, but this helped quite a bit. Funny - I just assumed that you were a single woman, but learned that yer married with kids - what a great family dynamic that allows you to take off for a weekend to reset. A lucky gal...
Well that was back in 2020 when the world tilted lol. And my “ kids” are adults now.
Out of curiosity, when was your house built?
Yup everyone sells their sites by saying so easy to diy, they lie many times! It's just click bait basically. Lots money and plumber or really good maintenance man is often required. Enjoy your channel. Still haven't gotten an aframe, but when retire will.
Glad you got it fixed Ruth
I agree. Thanks for watching. I’ll look forward to hearing from you when you retire!
I'm another solo woman, new A-liner owner. Your videos are very helpful as I learn how to use my trailer. Thank you.
Welcome to the Aliner community! I’m glad my videos are helpful. 🙏🏻
It looks great!
Thank you! It was a lot of work but worth it!
How can you lock it if my kid takes it to school?
I would buy a U lock.
It’s 25mph if you change it to H it will go faster and H means High speed.”
Not mine. High just meant you made it to 15 mph lol.
Thank you for your review. I was on the fence about going to Costco to purchase this model, but after watching your review, I’m sold. I appreciate your help!
Cool. It’s a lot of fun, totally worth it if it’s on sale.
Buy a couple of those super-duper expandable curtain rods at home depot and install them between the sidewalls. adds hanger space as well as wind protection
Is it ok for rainy season?
When I was doing my research it said not to ride it through puddles but rain can’t always be avoided. I’d be extra careful if I was riding it in the rain just because of slippery roads and poor visibility 👍🏻
Your videos have helped me so much! Just bought an Aliner and am solo camping. I have your parking video saved and have watched it about a million times lol.
Glad I could help! Congratulations on your new Aliner! The longer you practice the easier it gets. I still have to refer back to my videos to remember how to do some things, like hooking up the battery tender. My last trip out I plugged into shore power, turned my battery to the refrigerator to 110 then FORGOT to turn on shore power at the post!!! My fridge got warm and I couldn’t eat my camp food… my battery still worked for my lights and fan so I didn’t realize what I’d done until dinner time…. Oh boy. Don’t make my mistake 😊 Happy camping!
@@ruthtrips7391 I turned my AC on for the first time and was miffed that the air still wasn’t cold after half an hour. Went outside and realized I never took the cover off lol! #learningthehardway
@@michelel6643 Hahahaaa!!! See what I mean? Lots to remember 😂
I hope you are doing well Ruth. Just thought I would check in
Been missing seeing your adventures and hoping you are ok. No camping this summer? Take care.
Aww, thanks Donna. I took a few trips yes, I just didn’t make videos because I’m a bit of a creature of habit… I went to four of my favorite places and I’ve already shared them once 🤭 Happy camping!
I dont know whats cuter, you or your camper...
Well I know my camper is pretty cute! Hahaa, thank you.
Just purchased a used A Liner. Making the list of items to place in the trailer to be comfortable. Looking to do exactly what you’re doing. So, I’ll follow you.
Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine!
Greetings. My wife and I toured around with a Travelair fifth wheel camper for years. We were planning an extended vacation and decided to empty some of our load. Something we still chuckle about was the number of cups we were hauling - we took out 29 mugs, cups and other drinking containers for two of us.
Wow! Isn’t that a hoot?!!! I know, it’s funny how we keep throwing more stuff in there thinking we’re going to forget something!
I had an idea of doing something like this. I was thinking that suction cups would make a great anchor on the A frame. Knowing that someone else has done this is really helpful thank you. I never would have thought about getting a reflective tarp!
That’s a great idea, let me know if you try it and if it works!
It was super cool that you showed how you did all this. I'm thinking about getting an A liner myself so seeing all these steps is great for knowing what I'm getting into
Thanks for the feedback. The video is pretty raw, I was just learning how to film these but I’m glad the content is helpful to others ☺️
It looks like a nice weekend getaway. Beautiful mountain and water views. I love the queen bed. Maybe buy a collapsable TV Tray Table for those days you want to eat inside. Keep it in your car until you need it then put it away when you don't :o)
Thank you! This video was perfect!
I love it. I am 63 years old. Just purchased one too. Your tutorial helped me, so thank you very much. 👏👏👏
Glad I could help! Have fun and be careful 😊
Take it back Its 299.99
Great video! You’re inspiring me to get out into nature more!
Go for it! It makes me feel good, I think it helps everyone feel better 😊
I'm a bit 'late for the party' but just bought an Aliner a couple of weeks ago and discovered your channel. Another single woman here who can't just sit and do nothing! I will be traveling with my dog. Thank goodness, he is always ready to go 'for another walk.' LOL BTW, I'm learning a lot from your videos, so thank you!
Hope you enjoy it! I’m glad my experience can help others. There’s a lot to figure out in the beginning but you catch on pretty quickly then it’s all fun! Happy camping! 🙏🏻🌅
Do you know how is the factory reset?
I’m sorry I don’t.
I,m blessed
I am just getting my first suv (Corolla Cross Hybrid) in a few days. In my mind I want to be able to take trips during the week up the California Coast from the SF Bay area, up to Oregon and out to Denver. I will be going solo. I love the idea of the A liner. I like that it is flat but pops up with a hard top. I was looking at a 2006 used one that looked very clean and has updates in 2023 on a lot of the bigger things. It was $7800. I'm not sure if that is a lot or not. Biggest hurdle besides $ is fear of flying! I'm just scared to do corners, traffic, park for groceries etc. That really is my biggest issue.
Hi, I understand your fears. I felt them too. As far as corners, I really can’t tell a difference when towing mine. You can see it but it’s so lightweight. Parking isn’t too bad in grocery stores because the lots are so big you can usually just pull through a space and take up two perpendicularly. Then you don’t have to back out. You do have to practice parking though. And it takes practice! But it can be learned. I did it so you can too! I paid $7500 for my 2010 in 2021. Mine was in almost new condition and I still felt like I overpaid but love it so much it was totally worth it. Just be sure to have a good look around to make sure there’s no water damage anywhere. I wish you the best of luck!!!
they are on sale now for $299
great review. Got this for my 13 year old and he loves it.
How fast does it go
15mph
is there a way we can change the gears without the app?

Oohhh... she looks like a real mountain girl

Hi, Could you tell me how to change the function mode?
Gi, I believe you have to open the app to do that. Sorry, I’m not really an expert! Just sharing my fun lol.
Nice video. Nice work for the females. ;)
Thank you very much!
Thank you for all your videos! I am experienced camper, but new to be a solo traveler! I recently purchased a 10ft Aliner Ranger.. tiny! This Week is my first time out, I fashioned an awning based on your past video! Let me know if you come to Idaho!
That is awesome! So exciting to see people getting out on their own! It’s fun to camp with friends and family but it’s a whole new experience doing it solo. There is value in both! Thank you for the feedback and happy camping to you!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Another way of explaining it that I was told was to put my hand on the bottom of the wheel and turn it in which ever direction I want the trailer to go. Just another way of doing it ❤
Thank you. It’s funny but in my head I can never make that work! I tried!!! Maybe because I’m left handed? Born breach? Lol, it just doesn’t set right for me but the mirror trick does.. go figure?!!!
I hold the steering wheel at the bottom. If I want the trailer to go left, I pull the bottom of the wheel left. If I want it to go right, I pull the wheel right. Easy pesy
The problem I am having right now is that I've parked and want to unhitch the trailer from my tow ball, but it will not come off no matter how high I lift it. It is even lifting the back of my truck up. How to get the hitch to let go?
Did you unpin and open the latch that locks it on?
@@ruthtrips7391Well, yes, of course! Thank you for asking the obvious questions, as sometimes those are the ones that we forget. I did get it off, finally. I found another video for my specific type of hitch. Seems you need to put some forward pressure on the hitch part that clamps onto the ball to get it to release. That did actually work.
@@philblum1496 I have to laugh because sometimes it IS the obvious question. Thank you for the reply, I had no idea there were different types of hitches. If I ever get asked again I can offer more support 🙏🏻
I like to camp and hike the entire Oregon Coast, Its such a relaxing place and I love the sand,
Same here. Just got back from a coast trip!
we use a 3/16 braided metal (coated) cable, turnbuckle at the bottom and quick link at top. just roll up and stow when we break camp.
