Be sure to keep a close eye on the spare tire carrier. Mine broke at a weld and the spare beat a hole in outer shell. I put a beefed up carrier on that attaches to the trailer's rear hitch receiver. Much better than the factory spare tire carrier.
For the rest of my western trip I just carried the spare inside the trailer. The fiberglass repair was an easy, if costly, fix when I got back home.@@ruthtrips7391

camper tires don't seem to hold air pressure as well as SUV tires or car tires. Always adjust air pressure before each trip - AND during a long trip (multi-week).
