Trolling for Stripers in Los Vaqueros| 8 Stripers within an Hour. Boat Edition.

It was an Epic day for my friend and I. We started cold and early but the bites was super Hot and consistent. The weather was overcast, perhaps it was just the right recipe for a strike or perhaps just another lucky day.

Awesome video!! Great catches man! How far out do you normally let your line go out? I was just there trolling for striper with a 1/2 oz jighead with keitech and couldn’t hook one unfortunately. Also, are you normally trolling at around 2 mph?

Thanks Brother man. Trolling: Try let line out @ around 100 to 130ft. MPH: The rental boat speed is around 3 to 4mph max depends on weight ( how may passengers and weather) , when i'm trolling my speed is around 3mph ( alone, max speed when someone with me.) . Jig head: Try Using different sizes, But make sure you compensate with your trolling speed. I normally use 3/4 jighead and 4inch swimbait. Hope this help. Tight lines.
