Just wanted to give you a shout out and love the idea of basically a review on all of these local charters. Seawolf is a great charter and the deckhands are amazing. Hopefully, you can let us know how the other charters are as well, Oakland Anglers, Golden eye, Tigerfish, to help us out and see which ones we can choose for our next trip. Maybe in the future you can give a rating.

Didn’t seem like the Captain cared anymore after the Coronado Island stop. Very disappointed with the lack of effort towards the later half of the trip. We all got short handed about 5-6 hours of fishing/searching time. Can’t really blame a Captain for trying and ends up skunking; but in no way is it acceptable to quit on your 30 paying customers when there’s still time on the clock that we’ve all paid for. We were held against our will from 11PM to 5AM anchored in front of the harbor. To be nice, I thanked the Captain for returning us back safely and he just ignored me.

I had the same experience op in th San Francisco Bay, Payed $200 dollars for what was then a 3 limit of Halibut & 2 Limit of stripe bass 25 people on the boat and all the boat captain did is drove around for about 3 to 4 hours in the bay and we caught maybe 7 Halibut for the boat Zero for me my brother and Nephew!! Very disappointing!!

This would be the worst fishing trip ever for me. I counted my total fish time in the water for this trip, it is at 50 minutes only 😢. Although I got seasick I still managed to get up and fish every stop. This was my 2nd trip on this boat and netted zero. Terrible!

I used to go on that boat all the time. I fished exactly where you are. What happened is that the captain and deckhand got fined by Fish and Game. After that they basically just take you to a spot, make you fish using shrimp fly rigs and do not let even minnow sized fish go. I don't recommend going on this boat if you can help it. After Tinker the previous captain took over the whale watching boat, this is now helmed by the previous deckhand. For $120, I recommend getting a kayak and I bet you'll get better fish using that than this.

I have 3 of the 4000 baitfeeder reels. All 3 baitfeeder clickers have quit working within the last year. The reels work great except for this. I just purchased some bite alarms to resolve the problem

Great video.I usually chunk for stripers but I was using a whole live mackerel this one day when I was after a 40 plus inch striper when I hooked a great white shark instead while fishing from my kayak. Part of my video was recently used on the Discovery Channel episode called The Great White North. Toss me a subscription if you like, I only need a couple more to get 1000 :) Cheers

Did the rock cod / ling cod fishing trip twice last year. One time we ended up catching limits of quality rockfish and lings plus 3 albacore. We chasing for albacore after we done rock fishing. All of us were happy what we paid for. The sceond time I went is pretty like the trip you went for. We caught limits of rockfish plu one lingcod then ended the trip around noon. I think it really depends on a captain's mood on that day for Chris😁 I really enjoy going on Stagnaro charter in Santa Cruz. Captain Jason always dedicated to the best experience for his customers. EVEN with terrible weather, he never give up and keep searching for quality rockfish for us/

Wow, very different than when I went agust of last year. We went to 800 feet of water and changed spots all the time. But still one deck hand. But it was very good. Also got pb ling and many other pbs we took a 3 hour run to the spot. You can probably try to get some money back because the only went for a half day not full
