What a crazy day on the lake!………started out with cold wind and whitecaps, and ended in flat calm and short sleeves. Thanks again for taking us along for the ride in this video.🙂
I have a question brother! Is there success throwing lures for striped bass from shore? Cuz when I’m solo fishing from shore I see nothing but, cut bait fishing but, I’m a big Swimbait guy and top water guy.
I have tried numerous times throwing lure off the bank, i have zero success and so as others. Bait and wait is somehow is the only method so far that is more effective. I would highly suggest renting a boat and either Troll for them, Look for Boils or Jig for them in the deep. When you see a boil, Top water lure is one good way of catching them, Swim baits and Jerkbaits are the other. Hope this helps. Tight Lines.

Weather always plays wins. Thanks Steve.
Nice catches! Looked like a choppy day on the bay. Lots of good stripers in LV! They must eat more stocked trout then are caught by fishers.
Windy day at LV, most of the Trouts are hiding. Definitely Stripers are been eating trouts. Thanks Ron.

@@fishermanally thanks! 🙏
No down rigger? How much weight and how much line in front of lure?
No need for D.R. I use 3/4oz Jighead and 4 inches swimbait. 100 to 120ft line is the key and 3mph trolling speed. Hope this helps.
Awesome catches! Do you find the most success trolling for striper in Peninsula Cove? Looked like pen cove was where you caught them but hard to tell
I normally trolled around 200ft away from the bank, Stripers and Trout seems to like that depth.
Well, did you get your whopper mug?
Still an elusive mug... lol... Maybe next time.
