Can I get the website you ordered that dirt bike from?
I literally have the same exact bike, and that problem that you experienced is the carburetor. Replace the stock one and you'll get more power and throttle response. Also, change the front sprocket to a 17 tooth, and you will increase top speed by like 8mph.
The wheel one or timing
I would love to see you blow up this motor, I feel like that would be an awesome thing to see! Maybe even try to get it up to 49/50 mph?
😂😂😂 hopefully it doesn't take my legs with it! I would like to blow it up myself just to see exactly how much stress it can take or how clapped out it can go. I know it's already been stressed and something's not right but it would be interesting to see how much further you can push it.
Im following you from quebec canada! Keep going!
Awesome! That's so encouraging! 😁 Thanks for supporting me outside my country! 🤘
I know it's been a few months so this might not help but to me it seems like your engine mount bolt/ bushings are either loose or bad and that's what's causing the crazy vibration and your running issue is the carb, spark plug and air filter.
Josh you were absolutely on point! I can hardly believe it but about a week before you sent this message I discovered that it was a loose motor mount I'll point out in the next video which one it was! I was so excited when I realized it was a motor mount and not an engine failure. I'd really do appreciate you taking the time to take a moment and let me know that it was a motor mount cuz had I not discovered that it would have been very helpful. I discovered it after I was putting along with my daughter in first gear and every time I'd snap the throttle it felt as if the engine was twisting sideways a little bit and it was getting worse and worse and finally I was like it has to be a loose motor mount because the engine wasn't even high on revs.
I would change the oil, plug, and carb before you try and blow it up. Speaking from experience with experience with china quads that should fix the issue. My daughter just rode her Apollo 125 dbx15 for the first time last weekend it seemed to have a slight miss until it warmed up good so im going to put a little hotter plug in it change the carb with in the next couple of weeks. I have an apollo rx250 and can't kill it. Best of luck
Thanks for the info Andrew! 👍 That's a good idea, I'll pull the plug and also upgrade the carb and then see how the vibration feels.
I love the end of this video...Go Quadnation929 go
😂😂 thanks brother!
Ahh man its my brother from another quad mother 🤘🔥 I really love this video because I'm similar about the raptor killer, lockdown, and big red there are only 3 riders for the raptor killer and that it me my father and my older cousin because I have the most trust in them and they are respectable riders. So far as Lockdown I am slowly teaching my older sister to ride Lockdown she is still figgidy with the clutch but when she does come off of it just right ,you would think she a natural... but anyways 🤦🏾♂️😂 I only have a selective hand of riders for both my 700s but Big Red on the other hand I do sometimes let family members rider her but at the same time I am nervous as well ,because everyone want a fast atv/dirtbike or to go fast but do not have the respect or knowledge about them I tell people these bikes are very fun to ride but at the sametime if you do not respect them they will hurt you, or worse 😬 so I do let my family members and friends ride Big Red but I try to teach them the right and responsible way to ride. Yes she's not as fast as the two 700s but she will hurt you if you not familiar with riding a ATV, lol one more thing 😅 I also hate when they open up the throttle all the way with out shifting 😖😬 I some times here Big Red calling saying "help me!!!!!!!!!" 😂 but I love this video brother kinda helpful to beginner riders on what not to do 😁👍🤘
What new motor did you put in her ? I got one for my daughter and wanna know just in case I bough it used
It could be a crank bearing trying to seize When you keep it revved up for long periods it causes crank failure
That is a great point it could be failing from the long term high RPMs
I’m having problems with mine I’m letting the engine warm up before riding but as I’m holding on to the clutch I shift into first gear but once I start to ease off the clutch my bike cuts off and it only does it when I go into first could you help me out
I apologize for not seeing this until now but have you resolved the issue? If not have you tried increasing the RPMs by rolling on the throttle but not too much to where you'll flip back?
I think it might be the bearings that are heavily worn
I have this Bike (bought it for my Grandson who is 12...) Fun Fun Fun... I could not afford a Yamaha or Honda or any name brand ... am having a lot of fun with this. We have a Kawasaki KRX 1000 side X Side and now he can come with us without breaking the bank. Hope you figure out the engine.
My main complaint is that all the bolt keep backing out. I think I have all of them and new ones pop up on me... LOL enjoy your channel.
Rest assured, the engine was a simple fix! Believe it or not it happened to be a loose motor mount. Tightened it down and it runs perfect, no vibration! So shortly after I put the bike together I went through most all the bolts and placed loctite on them. I haven't had any trouble with anything backing out since. Thanks for taking the time to leave a positive comment brother! 👍
I apologize I looked at your RUclips name and noticed it said Stacy and that there's a male and female in the profile picture so if you're a female I apologize for calling you brother lol.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL No worries I am a Guy.... and that happens all the time, the women in the photo is my beautiful Wife Lorraine. Cheers!
The vibration is from a messed up crankshaft/bearing. If the motor vibes now after all that abuse, its goin to lock up soon.
Hummm, you might be onto something 🤔 I guess in time I will know!
Nice gloves! I have the same ones.
Thanks brother!! I love this pair!
I had a Apollo I pushed that thing to the limits I’d hold 4th gear for a solid 3-4 minutes because all my friends had a faster bike than me so I had to do it to keep in range with them, but one day my chain snapped off and then doubled up in my case then destroyed my cdi so then I had to replace it then after I fixed it that thing smoked so much I’m pretty sure it need new piston and rings but it was really clicky too so it might of needed a rebuild.so I sold it and now I got a drz125
Omg, I hope my chain doesn't damage the case! The DRZ125 is an awesome bike, I had one years ago and it was the best wheelie bike I've ever had to this day! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 👍
Even two strokes will blow up on you you can't go nuts on a four stroke first of all like a two-stroke and you can't let it get too 🔥🔥🔥 let them rest
I'm aware of that but I just push my bike harder than the normal guy lol... Kind of like longevity test for the channel 😂
2 strokes are more prone to seizing than 4 strokes. A lot more.
What crate motor did you buy and will there be a video ?
So I need to update the description in this video but come to find out I actually discovered that although there was intense abuse on this motor from newbie riders the terrible vibration was actually coming from a motor mount that appeared to be solid but under the torsion of the motor it had just enough slackage where it caused major vibration. I have since tightened that motor mount and everything is perfect back the way it was.
I can’t ride four wheelers that are nice I have a rust bucket and it just started to stop working well
Hey a rust bucket is better than no quad at all. I had some rough looking machines back in the day that also did not run well but in time you'll be able to upgrade to something that is exactly what you want. Just give it some time. In the meantime if you would like I can help diagnose your quad. Can you describe how it's running?
What’s the link you bought this on?
Mine does exact same thing I think it’s the carburetor something to do with the choke after it gets warm it acts normal but at the beginning I have to run it no choke and then when it gets warm I have to run mid choke
So I have to mess around with my carburetor like that too and from my understanding it's just the garbage carburetor that it comes with and you can eliminate that by going with a better aftermarket carburetor. In this video I believe it was just some garbage going through the gas because it eventually cleared up.
WHAT ABOUT THE GAS VID THAT YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE!!!!!!!
I'm so sorry buddy. I realized after I read your comment that I forgot to go over the fuel. I'll film that this weekend ASAP!
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL ok thanks
Hoping u see this comment but how does it breath with that closed gas cap only ask because I have a rfz18
Hey man, I was looking to get a smaller dirt bike just to mess around with. I thinking the Apollo. Do you think this bike is good for beginners like me?
Yes but your height should be around 5 feet
@@youchoose4526 thanks bro I’m 5’4
@@purpleflamingo00_44 no problem but just to tell you the bike seat is 33 inches
@@youchoose4526 yeah that's about where mine is with the shock on the lowest setting.
It's a great bike for beginners. Great size to learn on. Just don't over rev the bike as I explained in this video.
Bet its only the engine mount bolt came loose very common try that before you blow a perfectly good engine
I looked over the frame once before and I didn't notice anything loose but perhaps it's loose but not to the point where you can see it's loose yet so I'll put a wrench on all the bolts just to check 👍
Just drop the oil & rev it to the moon until it literally gives up!!
Do not let beginners ride me
-Megatron
😂😂😂😂 now that made me laugh! That was great!
Lmao 😎🤘
you don't burn your clutch out from lugging like that. that's only true if it's a semi auto because the clutch will slip at low rpm. if that clutch handle is out then it's not slipping (if the clutch works properly of course)
It puts strain on the clutch for sure
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL why would that put any more strain on the clutch than using it for what it's meant for
@@mondude9754 I thought u had mechanical knowledge Tao Tao boy....
@@calephillips-pu4kq I do... what I said was true
Mines was bogging and wouldn’t keep power now it won’t kick over
If i got a 24mm nibbi whats the best jets excellente vid btw too 😅
Its the carb it needs a 26-28mm mikuni carb then it Will also be waaaaaay faster
I'll have to look into that!
Even a Honda or Yamaha would succumb to prolonged over revving.
But is it actually engine's fault?
No but had it been a Yamaha, Honda, or any of the other major brands it would have held up longer.
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL But do you prefer me buy this?
Valves.. i have 2 of these bikes.. vome see us on apollo pit bike on facebook..
Is it really valves? That's what I suspected but wasn't sure. I'll check your page out! 👍 Thanks for the help!
Maybe cuz u left it idling for no reaso nand overheated it so many times.
Haha right!
My ssr does the same thing
Loose motor mount is what I discovered
@@FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL mine also smokes alot

Raptor Life that was quick bro!!!! 🤘😁
Should I blow it up?!
second :p
