    Thanks for this Tianna. It’s very helpful. I wasn’t even sure that yoga travel mats existed but having just finished my practice on a hard hotel room floor, I’m relieved they do! I’ll buy the Manduka. Namaste 🙏

      Hey Gillian!! I'm so glad you now know they do exist! It wasn't until I started practicing using hotel towels when I realized I also needed a travel yoga mat. Now I never travel without it!
      Enjoy your Manduka!!

    Thank you for the video, really helpful. I prefer the style of the Manduka eko, so it’s great to know it’s also grippy and so will be a functional for yoga practice! Just a quick question, when you fold the yoga mat as opposed to rolling it up, does it leave demarcation line marks? You’re gorgeous btw!

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  Год назад

      Hey Nazzy! Thanks for watching, great question! I normally fold it in my suitcase and then roll it when I arrive to avoid those lines of demarcation. To avoid it, try folding the mat the opposite way as well

    just what i needed!! manduka is my home mat but i’ve been wanting to try Jade (🌲). the fact that this mat is lasting 8+ years sounds like it’s worth it.
    with Jade, i figured manduka would beat it out in the grip, how did it hold up with light and energetic sweating? or humid conditions?

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  4 года назад +1

      I'm so glad you you found value in this video! My Jade mat was fine at the beach. I did sweat on the Manduka mat and it held up well but I have not gone to the beach yet.
      Thanks for watching and I think you can't go wrong with either one 💕

    Thanks so much for this review, so helpful! Which mat would you recommend for a full-time traveller? I know you mentioned you'd not recommend these for everyday use but, unfortunately, that's going to be the case for me and I don't know if Manduka is still the better choice since Jade offers a tiny bit more cushioning. Thanks so much! A xx

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  Год назад

      Great question! If you are going to be a full time traveler, you can place this over a mat there or use the Manduka grippy towel over a mat during your travels.

    I want to buy the blue EkOlite-Atoll Marble like the one in the video, but I'm worried that the blue might develop dark patches over time. Have you experienced any issues with it? Did the light blue maintain its color?

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  4 дня назад

      The blue has held up well. I just switched to a cotton mat this year though and I love it!

    Which mat gives feels more dense and supportive? Also do you know how these compare to the manduka pro lite? Thanks 🙏

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  3 года назад +1

      These are travel mats and are not dense or supportive at all. If you are looking for a mat that gives more support, I highly suggest the Manduka Pro. I have not yet tried the Pro lite but it may be worth checking it out for comparison.
      Great question and thanks for watching ✨

    Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing the Manduka eKO Superlite for travelling and I was wondering if it creases when you fold it? If so, does it creases permanently? Thanks!

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  3 года назад +1

      Hey Annie! I’ve had my Superlite for over a year and I always fold it to put it in my suitcase. I may leave it folded for no more that 2 days. So far no permanent creases ☺️
      Hope that helps, also try not to get it wet. It may get hard like my Jade mat.

    I am confused about getting one as I heard those rubber ones can't be used in the sun I wanted smth versatile so many made of rubber. Are there any travel that can withstand any weather condition ? I am allergic to latex are they smelly? So expnesive too and I've heard the grippimess wears out afer 3 years..

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  3 года назад

      Thanks for watching, it really is a personal choice. Most of the mats are made out of PVC and are latex free. I use all of my mats outdoors with no complaints. I hope that helps!

      @@YogawithTianna thank you for relying, that helps and some say you can not use it a sun, the rubber one. I prefer the natural option and Unhave heard th4 Mandela doesn't have thatbmuchbof the rubber smell so I may try go for it, so hope they are not so smelly. Apparently the lululemon is super smelly. Then i was dispponted they wear out afer few years quite costly.. so still have to make decision, appreciate your reaponse!

    Get the Manduka because they don't harass their customers like JADE YOGA ind.
    JADE mat - Is not worth it, as I have a brand new one sealed that I tried to sale and got a Cease&Desist letter from the company that I cannot resell it Even though I paid full price for it and I legally own it, how sad and disturbing :(

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  3 года назад +1

    I love thin mats but it’s sooo hard to keep them still! I’ve used many brands and they always wrinkle or move when I’m doing yoga. That’s what makes thicker mats so great is that they stay still

    • @YogawithTianna
      @YogawithTianna  4 года назад +5

      Hello! Yes, I agree thicker mats are ideal. Travel mats serve their purpose temporarily but I would not recommend them for everyday use. The Manduka mat did stay in place a better than the Jade mat.
