Thank you for the video. I order a manduka prolite yoga mat online. I am waiting for it. I am so excited. The price is quite different between Korea and USA.. prolite is about ₩138000 in Korea.. it is about $120 with tax.

Does anyone know if the dimensions of the width of the Pro mat long has been changed since this video? On Mandukas website it says that the Pro standard and the Pro extra long has the same width (66 cm).

Hi Laura! do you have any issues on the eko superlite one? I've had this mat for around 8 months and practice 2-3 days daily on it since May'22, but i feel like its still too slippery for my liking :( do you have any suggestion on how to break in the mat? thankyou so much :)

Hi Laura, amazing video and suggestions. I'm wondering... how often do you clean the mats? with which products? Thanks in advance for the consideration :)
Thanks so much for the feedback! Generally, I'd say we clean our mats about once per week. If I sweat a lot or have dirty feet, I'll usually wipe it down after I practice. Manduka has their own mat cleaner that you can buy (and I've had good experience with it), but we've made our own with water, witch hazel, and tea tree/lavender essential oils. :) Hope this helps!

Hi there!! My husband and I have both had great experiences with our Manduka mats. I personally haven't had issues with it being slippery and am a big fan of the texture. Hot yoga classes would be the only time they might be a little slippery but it hasn't been an issue for me! Hope this helps! 💜
Hi Laura! Is the Prolite slippery when you're sweating? Had you done the "break in" process?
Great question! I actually didn't do the "break in" process and had no issues. It may be worth testing out how it feels if you put a little bit of water on it. That way to can see how slippery it feels for you. Hope this helps!
please have you ever tried de PRO Travel? It's like the first one but travel version... (1 kg weight too but 2,5 mm !!! more cushion!!! )i'm in between this PRO Travel and the eko super lite you mentioned
I haven't tried the PRO Travel mat yet, but I'm dying to! It sounds like the PERFECT travel mat since it's a little thicker than the eko Super Lite but is still light enough and "foldable" enough to travel with!

@@maryamm4380 I'm sorry I didn't answer hahaha I forgot. Sorry about my English I'm not native. Well the pro travel its better than the eko super lite because the material is thicker and most durable surface. (I bought the pro travel and the eko for my boyfriend) and the eko is more foldable? It has a very good grip (eko) but maybe too good. Sometimes in your practice you want to "slide"? A little and with that you can't. The pro travel is way better for me. I used it over another to practice ashtanga, and alone for vinyasa and it's really good. In fact I recently bought the pro lite for keep practicing ashtanga . I recommend to sprinkle sea salt as they say in the package... The procedure... When I removed the salt with a damp cloth, my mat was slippy but then I let it dry like another day or two and it was perfect...now the grip is really good and also y can flow in it. Pro travel is very good and prolite too

Are these mats good for Pilates
They can definitely work for pilates! You may want to have a little more cushioning though. I'd get the Pro for the extra thickness. Hope this helps!
