I feel like LEGO has gotten a little too expensive. Maybe not for this set, but others. Back in 2007 when I started collecting LEGO, a battlepack was what, $8? Now it's about $12 for a battlepack.
Well, yeah. But dude, inflation, costs to produce parts, prices of plastic. These are all things Lego can't control. It's not Lego's fault their sets are expensive.
+Samuel Doll The parts and the plastic remained the same for more than 20 years. Probably the only reason is that they had to pay workers more, as most of tem are in Denmark, Hungary, and Chezk Republic.
CoWinkKeyDinkInc No, actually that has nothing to do with it. Most of what makes them cost more is inflation.
+Legos4U now, there are a lot of new pieces in the sets, back then in 2007 they didn't got those things like spring loaded shooters or someting else.

I wish they'd make a millineum falcon with the size of a UCS, but opens up and is more detailed than this

Just finished building this set today! I’m super happy with it :)
The nostalgia to ME from the pirate guns. 2009 Pirates is what made fall in love with lego. Everything started when I opened my birthday present when I turned 6. It was the Shipwreck Hideout and the first piece I took out of the bag was the musket. It's awesome to get them in a Star Wars set
I'm really into SW, but wasn't really into the Lego SW sets because they were just so expensive. At toys r' us in december, and i saw the last Lego 2015 Millennium Falcon on the shelf. I was contemplating whether to get this set because it's THE Millennium Falcon.
I went home still thinking about it, and the next day, i went straight back to toys r' us and made a crazy buy.
I still haven't built it yet, mostly because I have no room for it yet,and also this is likely gonna be a collector's item, so you can imagine the resale value in time to come. Still haven't decided on that also.....

the MF is probably my favorite ship of all of the star wars ships. lts so unique
the last millennium falcon did not come out in 2010 it came out in 2011

I'm stoked they came out with another version of this, because the 2010 are now inflated in price and no longer being made. I'm just glad to be able to get one, even if it is all too similar to the old model.
What happened to your QnA video?
Question...... on the new MF, 75105, I can't the roof tiles to align correctly. any ideas on what I did wrong? If your facing the back of the MF, going from right to left, its the last two tiles and then the two tiles where the radar is located.
One thing I noticed is the mini figure of Chewbacca does not fit in the cockpit unless you lay him right back as it is too tall.

I really like this new version of the millenium falcon but i do have the 2011 one and if i have to choose between this set or Kylo Renn's shuttle, i would go for the shuttle, just because that is BRAND NEW, new set and new minifigs, while the falcon actually almost has the same design as the 2011 one

4504 is the best millenium falcon, im currently rebuilding the one from 2005. Its hard trying to find all of the pieces again, although ive been buying a few replacements online
The new Millennium Falcon looks fantastic, still love the 2011 version as it is one of my favorite sets in my collection, cannot wait to get the new version. B.T.W Chewbacca's weapon is a Bowcaster.

Looking back, so many people were complaining for only 7 minifigs, but they were the only ones in the thing!
What about the Guaovian Death Gang. The one guy with those soldiers with red helmets. The leader and one soldier would make it even better

Davis, i prefer that the new Millennium Falcon should not be lower because if you look closely, when you put the landing pad down, people dont fit because it is lower

I was so disappointed when he never did, and he used it to build Scarif.
the inside is way better looking then the 2010 version. the core build is the same but it has minor color and detail variations. i honestly don't know if it is worth buying if you have the previous one

I think it is fine to use the pretty solid, good looking 2010 version because it would be hard to make it better... oh wait they kinda already did by making it easier to open the top hatch, making it more detailed, and adding some cooler play features.

The head rap isn't new, it first appeared as a swim cap in the Series 7 minifigures line.

The new one looks much better and realistic if you put the round ends of the middle-section one stud-row lower as "suggested" in the manual. By the way nice Review as always!!!

I kinda like this set, but the figs arnet my favourites, i say that because we dont know them yet. i have the first falcon, but i´d like to have this too. but its expensive
It's so similar to the old one because... SURPRISE! It's the same ship. It's just from the new movie. But they changed a lot about it. Including new interior. A redone nose section. Better structure. And the new dish. In fact I'm planning to (since I never had a MF Lego set) Getting this and modding it to be from the original trilogy. Instead of buying the old one. So it's definitely worth its price.

I got the 2010 version for Christmas once, but somehow it's fallen apart and lost pieces while sitting all built in its box for years. Figures.
Just bought it for Christmas at Kmart here in Australia and cost more over here $245.

The bowcaster looks kinda Bionicle zamor launcher but minifigure size O_o
the build is the same too! they just stripped it back and re did it for the film

I actually prefer the 2010 Millennium Falcon because all the dark gray panels on the TFA Falcon turn me off a bit. I liked the "cleaner" look of having all the panels be light gray.
What set is better ? the milenium falcon 75105 this one or.. kylo rens schuttle i have one the old milenium falcon
In my opinion the falcon is better.Kylo Ren's shuttle is inaccurate and is a bit boring in design.This has loads of greebleing and detail on the inside
If you have the old one, get the shuttle. Good minifigs and the shuttle looks pretty cool.
