Pasta salad made with rotini pasta, different colored peppers, cucumber, green onion, olives, artichoke hearts, shredded carrot, cheddar cubes, mini pepperoni and herb vinaigrette. You could do a pesto version with tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls, pesto dressing with balsamic drizzle.
Great video Kerry, your hair always looks immaculate! I think it's great doing things that children will actually eat and it's great more fun for them to eat something different everyday as you said! When I prepare the packed lunch for my 16 month old before dropping her off at the child minders I always pack a wide variety of food (and I think a bit too much as well) I think as parents we worry that our kids just don't eat enough when we're not around them. This gave me loads of ideas thank you X
My favorite lunch as a kid an still to today in essentially a cheese board so a couple different types of sliced cheese, some crackers, rolled deli meats, a bit of chocolate, and some fruit and/or olives. At work it's always really funny because everyone has leftovers or a sandwich and i'll pull out my way over the top posh cheese board in a tupperware
Great ideas. I love how you always cram so much info into your videos without them being waffley (is what a word 🤣!). Do you find that those lunchboxes keep cut fruit fresh? It’s my big lunchbox challenge at the min and so far I’m losing- I get brown apples and soggy strawberries returned everyday
I’m so so glad you like these videos and find them informative :) these lunchboxes are amazing.. no soggy fruit.. I havnt tried Apple yet as that seems to go brown now matter what I do to it!! Hehe xxx
Do they usually eat everything in their lunchboxes? My son is coming home having barely touched his, despite having a full 30 mins to eat it in the classroom before going outside! He used to enjoy the hot school lunch so I'm trying different things to entice him to eat his packed lunch.
Thanks for the ideas kerry! Have you thought about thermos' the boys? I bought my boys some this year and they're loving hot lunches. Just gives more variety :) x

Hey Kerry I have made my own meal plan for the kids lunches so they don’t have the same thing OVER AND OVER. We all know they get bored. I love these ideas & the bento boxes are awesome plus saves on packaging and waste 💓 the pizza idea is my favourite!! I forgot all about pastry pizzas 😍 thanks for this lovely 💓
Kerry Whelpdale yeah I saw them when looking online and thought would be a great investment but me being me & so last minute the delivery wasn’t in time for (back to school)🙈 so I went with the old classic ones lol definitely upgrading now I’ve seen yours! Fab ideas again 💕
My daughter loves French toast, or hotdog sausages, or pancakes with bit of chocolate, cut into small pieces and on cute food picks. But she is too busy to eat during lunch (you know all the talking) so she is taking small portions
You have to be really careful taking nut products into schools. The pesto contains pine nuts and cashew nuts, which I'm always telling Emily Norris about. And your fairy cakes contain hazelnut from the milk.
Oh I honestly hadn’t even thought about that.. whenever I think of nuts, I only think of peanuts but you are right.. I don’t normally use hazelnut milk in cupcakes, it was just because we ran out of normal milk! But I’ll be sticking to normal milk from now on xxx
I am really surprised pine nuts and cashews are "nuts" in England. Botanical both aren't nuts, just the core from fruits. Surely these can cause allergies as well. I just stumble across the names. In Germany they are named "Kerne" (Core) and the schools don't prohibit them.
My kids lurved marmite & cheese (any cheese) as a filling, as do my grandkids now...marmite & cream cheese pinwheel sarnies are their very special treat!
@@KerryWhelpdale I'm Canadian, but my mum is originally from the UK. I remember having soft cheese and Marmite sandwiches all the time in my lunch box growing up....a good 35 + years ago. So good. This brought back memories.
Katie Hobbins I had exactly the same in my sandwiches too and now when we go out for day trips that’s still the filling I out in my sandwiches!! It’s so yummy! Xxx
I got my daughter a yumbox lunch box which is similar to yours it’s fab I’d highly recommend. Also worth giving the yumboxmama a follow on Instagram she does some great lunch inspo 😊 xx
Hi Kerry. I know that this is random but is your air fryer Proscenic T21 Air Fryer?? I would love to get the one you have and it looks like this one is back in stock on Amazon. Appreciate your answer :-) love the channel very much 🤩🤩🤩
They look great. Shame my school has no nuts (so no pesto 😭), no sugar goods, no crisps or juices policy. Sometimes it’s a struggle so I just give the same thing every day.
Same at my girls' school, we call them the lunchbox police! If yours like tomatoes, you could try stirring through a nice jarred sun-dried tomato paste instead, my two love that. I did actually think that pine nuts were classified as seeds though, not nuts? Maybe I'm wrong on that.
Yaaayyy!!! Another lunch boxes vid! Thank youuuu ❤🎉
Some great ideas. Its always hard to give the kids variety. Love the lunch box and if the fruit is already prepared they are more likely to eat it.
So glad you liked these ideas :) my kids so love the fruit part of their lunchboxes :) xxx

Love the puff pastry pizza idea! I don't have kids but I make my husbands lunch every day and I wanted to mix it up!😂 Thanks Kerry! xxx

What a lovely video. Thank you for sharing.
Do they heat up lunch at school?🤔
Hi, Kerry; can I ask how long can/do you store your tuna and rice recipe in the fridge, please? Many thanks! x

Great ideas , i once got a thermos for my son to take hot meals for lunch in winter and he hated it has none of the other kids had one.
Hehe u wonder what my kids would think of it.. I’m going to ask them today and see! Xxx
HI kerry..the lunch box is really good..liked all your ideas for a packed lunch.i wonder if toasties would work?xx 👍
I definitely think you could do toasties however they would be cold but my kids don’t mind eating toasties cold! Xxx

Kerry with the fairy cakes could you add chocolate chips or blue berries. Looking for a cakey or muffin type item for my son's lunch box.
Yes of course :) you can add lots of goodies into those cupcakes :) this is just the base of the cupcake and then the world is your oyster :) hehe xxx
