Fill a bowl with water and a pinch of salt, add the apples for 30 seconds or so pat dry, this keeps them from turning brown and they don't taste like lemon. 🙂

My 6yo loves the pinwheels
**TIP**
Put a lil raw baby spinach in the pinwheels like you would lettuce to add veggie. Also smashed avocado.

You can use mayo in place of butter :) much easier to spread and has a higher spoke point and I promise it doesn't make it taste any different!

As a food allergy mama, I wouldn't recommend replacing peanut butter with Almondbutter or Nutella... those are both Nut butters. I'd recommend Wowbutter, Cookie butter, or Sunflower Butter. I love your videos though. Just wanted to share.

I love your videos! I am hispanic and in my house we always ate our hot dogs in a corn tortilla instead of a bun and it’s the only way I can eat them now. I loved seeing you use tortillas that way in your video, it made me nostalgic 😊

You put so much love into your lunch making for your kids and husband. I love all your ideas and have used many for my kids. Just a suggestion for the hot dog roll ups. Cut the hot dogs "almost" in half and stuff the middle cut pocket with some cheese before rolling up the tortilla. My kids love them that way. Love all your videos.

Kristen, I pop the naan rounds in the toaster and wrap in aluminum foil. It doesn’t keep them warm but it does keep them soft.

Even though my kids are grown and have kids of their own, its fun to see how home packed school lunch has changed over the years.
I have 5kids and worked full time outside if home so it was easier to have the kids buy lunch at school. It was pricey because they had al la carte and of course they blew thru their budget by day three lol

I just started watching my Grandson last week while he was on Fall break. You gave me some great ideas. He's 5 and we are finding out how ornery he really is. He basically had cereal and milk for breakfast and a small lunchable and anything else he liked usually chips and of course milk. Thanks for the ideas. 🥰 I like bananas on the dark side to. They are sweeter.

Peanut butter and jelly on a tortilla wrap is really good and you could cut it in pin wheels 😊 my grandkids love this way

I do peanut butter roll ups for my granddaughter. I ran out of bread one morning and used a tortilla. She loved it! She’d rather have the tortilla than the bread lol. What great ideas! Have a great week!
You can do a peanut butter/banana tortilla roll-up as well.
You can slice the apple then hold it together with a clean rubber band on unused hair tie!
My granny always saved our juice bottles (good to grow, bug juice, etc.) and it was my favorite to drink chocolate milk out of when I stayed with to her!
Girl you and those good 2 grow juices me too😂😂❤they are perfect to reuse! My families favorite ranch is eat n park but since they dont sell it in stores I go get it by the quart from the restaurant. Now you got me wanting to try the GV ranch.

I absolutely loved all the lunches you made for the kids yum o. My kids are just as picky when it comes to grilled sandwiches if I get the bread too toasted they will not eat and they love ranch too much lol they put on almost everything they eat. 😃

I am a preschool teacher and all these are great ideas. Parents are always wondering what to pack for their kids to eat. You would be surprised by the amount of food kids waste. I think parents often overwhelme kids with so many choices that they often open to many things that just end up trashing .I see it everyday.

Hey Kristen! Thank you so much for the before and after information! I have been watching lunchbox videos from different sources and notice most lunchboxes have a good amount of food in them-more than my kids usually eat in one sitting. I know everyone's eating habits are different-some kids skip breakfast and eat a bigger lunch and some kids snack all day and never really eat 3 squares. My kids eat 3 squares and a small snack before bed. They are all a healthy size and very active. Do your kids eat breakfast? Do they eat a late dinner? I'm just trying to figure out why people's lunchbox amounts seem to be too much for my oldest 2 kids (ages 10 and 8). Thanks!
Sun butter. If there’s a peanut allergy they typically will limit all nut butters including Nutella!

Fun tip to make apples more tasty for kids is cut them into cubes, shake em up in a container with lemon juice and cinnamon 😋

As for your son getting both school lunch and boxed lunches with my two boys it was there friends where getting it so they wanted to eat the same thing their friends where eating
