This has quickly turned into a comfort channel I just put on while doing Gunpla stuff of my own. Keep it up. Plus, I think "Canadian Plamo" or "Canadian Plamo Emporium" has a good ring to it. Love, from the Philippines.
👍👍👍
love the austin power laughs wah ha ha ha ha ha wah hahaha
I love how you dropping my order a couple of videos ago became a running gag in this video. I always love watching you guys and your tenacity and positivity. Can't wait to see what is in the next restock.
Super fun video. I really enjoy how transparent you're being with your business, it gives everyone a sense of an actual relationship with your shop (the same one would feel with a local B&M).
But please do be careful with sharing too much! I've done the same in the past with sharing too much insight behind the scenes, and customers suddenly start trying to get smart. They start thinking they know better, or expect to undercut your margins. But they also don't account for the cost of your time, your rent, your labour, your employees, your commute, your supplies, your domain, etc., etc., etc...
(In terms of loss, I think the vendor is usually responsible, even if it was the customer's mistake. Just kind of a service expectation, especially since Amazon became mainstream. Usually shipping costs and slight margin increases are used to compensate for the rare loss or mishap)
All the best, looking to pick up my order soon :)
When is Amy going be holding the camera and you doing the shipping!? lol love yall!
I spy a Striker GN-X. One of those is as good as gone as soon as this restock goes live, Pat, I can promise you that. Can't wait to see a listing that isn't being sold for like $100 CAD.
PG Unleashed Zaku II when? I'm glad you guys are still getting skids! A local big store just got their skids as well. Welcome sights!
I'm currently building Load Astray Omega, my back log has Narrative gundam c-pack, Tr-6 woundworth, TR-6 Haze-n-Thley, Amatsu Hana and fukuhoka RX-93ff!
If the address provided by customer is customer's error then it's obviously not your fault.. our company ships out parcels every day and we've had unique scenarios like yours. If we determine it's the customer's error then there's little we can do except maybe try to help reroute the shipment to the correct address and would ask the customer for any extra shipping fees needed for this.. if it's too late then it's unfortunately customer's lost. In that scenario depending how expensive the item lost was for the customer, we may give the customer a discount or a deal if they spend a certain amount or something similar. I think as a customer as long as I feel the people shipping out my package do their best to correct my mistake and being updated.. that's already enough for me.
You could tell sometime the story of you and Amy
i would also like that story. Pretty sure they are hubby and wifey.
@@gaveintothedarkness I also believe in it
I mean im assuming amy gets as many cookies as she wants...and if not she deserves that many
I'd definitely watch a pricing video. Always wondered with when you tell shipping costs, how you turn a profit.
Love all the videos
Oh man I really need to win the lotto. So many kits I would like to buy but no funds. Keep up the great work.
Nice to meet you
Where are these products the things which they stocked from?
Yes see how much you can make with a store.
At least in the US depending on the carrier the customer could go online and change there delivery destination to a FedEx locker or cvs (if carrier is FedEx) I had to do it for my MG Epyon EW ver after making that exact same mistake only I caught it before it was out for delivery
I would really like to see a video on pricing! The prices for models in my area has Gina up a bit and it would be really nice to know how that kinda works
I Think You Guys Should Do Open Store Shopping😊
Suggestion for the website is to add, an additional pop up before order with a "Click Confirm to assure the address inputted" or something like that so they would double check the address
Ohio followed immediately by Michigan..... I wonder if Canadians would understand the rivalry here lol
You may not be able to give out Stickers, but i never heard they couldn't accidentally fall of a small slanted shelf above where you Package up the Kits and accidentally landed in the box. lol
🤣🤫
Throw in the p bandai kits that bandai doesn't want you to sell, I would do that to apologize xD
what I would have done is "return back to sender" and make a note on the package saying "no longer lives here"
I see those batmobiles and rg zeong
You should be able to change delivery address before it get delivered. It has happens to me a few times
Unfortunately I contacted the post head office and they said they wouldnt not be able to catch the delivery driver in time. They also change the local post office number to head office so I also couldn’t speak to the local carriers in that city.
Good to see you guys are doing good but dang I really want a PG Unleashed but it’s waaaay too much for me my parents would kill me for paying that much
Canada Post is pricey monopoly. See if there are any regional couriers in your area who ship there stuff with Canada Post in bulk freight.
Out of curiosity, what type of systems do you use for your inventory and shipping? Me and a buddy have been looking into starting a 'games and hobby' type of shop and have had plenty of experience with the receiving/shipping, sales, and organization/warehousing side of things, but have limited exposure to the actual systems of just what we've used with our current and previous jobs.
If you shipped to a different address and it has been shipped there then he needs to go pick it up to himself or get a hold of the local post office and pick it up there if it has been returned. If it is still in transit. You or He can call the post office to give the tracking number and they can correct the delivery address of that package instant the package arrives at the checkpoint.
if it was me getting the wrong kit, id just put the correct one in private warehouse till i buy more
I would like to see a “how did it all start” video, or a “what got you starting up this business “. That is what I’d like to see
Also to add, maybe not emphasize on how much “this or that cost to ship”. I get it, items cost for you to ship is a little over the roof, to be honest, it gets a little annoying after a while. No offence though, just an observation. Cause almost every video I watch your always talking about “guess how much it cost to ship here or there” again, no offence.
"$153,000 Canadian Rubles.. So about $15 a day for sub and a drink."
Sorry dude but if he used the wrong address that’s on him unfortunately. You shouldn’t HAVE to replace it if it’s not returned. Now if you DID replace it, that would be a kind gesture on your behalf but I don’t think you should feel obligated to replace an expensive kit like that. I feel like USAGS wouldnt send them a another kit for free and they are pretty big in comparison.
either him/ her call their local, and try to intercept the package with the shipping info and have it held at the office
Just a comment on the shipping issue, in the US, the USPS will let you do mail forwarding for one year when someone moves. Granted, it's not 100% accurate, but I've had to use it a few times in the past and was happy with the service. Does Canada and other countries not do this type of service? Also, I can understand if it's done through a different provider, but maybe they could reach out to that provider? I know FedEx and UPS allow you to change to facility pick up.
Maybe call or email the the people To double check be before shipping it if anyone change there address
are you sold out on the RG sazabi already? or havent posted it in the store yet? its out of stock on the website.
Haven’t released them yet! Next week we have 24
@@CanadianGundam okay cool thanks! ill check every day next week then haha. and as im browsing your shop i noticed the Hi-RM Astray Power Red is available now too!
you should get a school kid in to put away your skid for cheep then you can just do your orders with Amy
The Linc is scheduled to be closed May 27th to the 30th, not great but could be worse!
I love PG but I can never actually buy one.
Not enough XD
😁
Keeping on paying 😅
I would reach out to the shipping company to return the shipment and to request an change of address.
Return to sender or contact shipper if it a place I shop from and offer to buy replacement for the original person and keep.
For your 1st problem, why don't you just give him in-store credit for his next purchase?
I think the only bashing that people should do should be kit bashing. (Putting more than one kit together. Like in Gundam build series.). Can't say Amy's not being paid because you're paying her with sandwiches and cookies.
You make a mistake, send the correct kit, hold that L
Meanwhile. I can't get a kit in india to save a life 🥺🥺
DO you ship to India 🥺🥺
No offence but this is just my opinion but when I saw at the bottom of the shelf a MG Full Armor Double Zeta and ver ka and a few others I knew it was private warehouse but it pisses me off a bit when I see these in the videos a bit Ik some are sitting on em to make one huge collection but man could be going to someone who actually wants it sooner rather than later but still love the video still
i agree, the private warehouse should have a fixed time limit, after it hits that limit, it gets shipped out.
@@gaveintothedarkness yeah or just straight up put it back on the store for someone else that actually wants it immediatly but ik thats a bit blunt or 30 days as a private warehouse then like you said gets shipped out
for the first problem, you handled it great. just take a loss I guess. second problem. TOO BAD! (for the customer). it's not your problem if the customer makes the mistake. you would lose so much money if you constantly catered to errors customers make. I'd be interested in a profits video.
I thought you couldn’t use the word gundam in your name though?
That does suck how it was shipped a customer's old address. Maybe you could claim it as a loss with your business insurance?
It is definitely pro-consumer that you're willing to take the loss for the sake of customers. Even if it's a loss, overall you're likely to make up that profit loss through regular return customers.
One of these days I'll make an order with you guys.
@xxnike629xx But will you gonna build the kits inside the BOXES you'll gonna order from them?
