Thats awesome im glad you guys are shipping to Puerto Rico, we got a small community here , but loyal to amazing sellers. We just started a thread on our PR builders group and one of the guys recommended your store, so hopefully that means more options for us to buy online. Thank you guys for the shoutout!
Each online shop I check in Italy is always out of stock for 90 per cent of their selection. Can't really tell of there is not enough demand to keep the stock. If the selection is too vast but anyway, there is no option to make an impulse buy unless you choose what is available, against what you would like to get.
@@killuminati2911 supposedly, Bandai refuses to deal with wholesalers in Europe due to a lack of demand. But at the same time, we customers have to pay EUR50 for a small HGUC kit when all the middlemen have taken their cut. And as you've said, that's if we're lucky enough to find something in stock. It's ridiculous! And don't get me started on P-Bandai exclusives.
@@mattb154 yeah that's right. I bought some kit in the past directly from Japan and what is here sold at 30-40 Euro, there is a 12-15 Euro piece. This however is not a good way to grow the business. I can see plenty of space for them to get to a new audience but not if the product is not available, overpriced and of course, lack any type of marketing whatsoever, that is demanded to the local reseller. The guy here in this video basically have to be a local marketing office for Bandai. Well at least now I know this is not something related only to my Country. Thanks for the reply man. Cheers
You guys run a very neat operation. Glad to see the business is doing good, there is a lot of competition for Gunpla products now a days, even the big box stores like Target want in on the action. 😥
I'm glad I discovered this video. Since she knows I like Gunplas, My aunt once suggested me to sell Gunplas around town. Not that I want to try, but how to operate a Gunpla store is something interesting to know the behind the scenes.
Greetings from Halifax! I've ordered a bunch of stuff from these guys over the last couple of years. Patrick is very helpful if you have any concerns about your order.
This is an intoverts(such as i )dream just seeing all the products makes me wanna grab one and get building especially during this quarentine.keep it up -_-👌

Super curious what is the profit margin of a Gunpla store. I mean I know it's kinda like a secret but would love to know if it's in the range of 5% or 15% ish or more! It's just a curiosity me and my friends have had since the local store at our place won't tell us haha
I dont work for canadian gundam but i worked in business before and it is more than 15% thats for sure. You also have to keep in mind the lost cost (kits that does not sell etc) also the front cost of ordering skits. So its high risk but could be high reward manage properly i assume
Let me take some of that stock off your hands. Australia is dry AF. Yeah plenty of Wing to go around.. Thanks for the insight i'm in auto logistics, good to see how my hobby works from the other side.
They have a high limit card so that they can order stock to be sold. They pay like $500 CAD I think per year so that they can have the card. Its basically so that they don't have to take out of pocket to purchase their stock.
@@GunplaNetwork thought so, i came into gunpla recently first one i ever made was a unicorn RG, but found almost no sellers here or when you find them way to expensive
the new cards these days have the NFC chips in them for contactless payments and such. my new AMEX and debit cards have precipitously increased the weight of my wallet lol y'all ship to the US? the states-based Gundam stores are running out of product!!
If it was easy everyone would be a reseller. Canadian Gundam is only a small handful of retailers in S. Ontario. I've seen many stores since the 90's fail. Gundam is so niche. RC models and drones have taken over.
