  • Inside this home time has still stood still for over 15 years, the owner managed a toy store most of his older adult life until his health declined. Not only did he sell the toys, he collected them as well for personal hobby. The interior of the home shows all the signs of hoarder activity, food rotting away and everything left behind. Thousands and thousands of vintage toys from many different era's are scattered along the floor of this huge house. Stay to the end to see all the collector items inside and let me know if you recognize anything !

      Time is short! The most important thing that everyone should be doing now is Salvation through Jesus Christ. Time grows short. Don't delay because no one is promised tomorrow.
      Our Blessed Hope, our Savior Jesus Christ.
      Do you know him? Do "you", ("whoever" is reading this), know Jesus? Even more, are you "Saved"? If Jesus were to return today, "now", would you be ready? Are you ready? That is the one question that you, and everyone, better know the answer to, because that is the most important decision you will ever make. Jesus is the "ONLY WAY TO SALVATION". There is no other way, "none". This "life" that you are living now, is a "limited" existence. The life after this is "ETERNAL", which brings us to another question: "Where do you want to spend eternity?" Well, you have only "two" choices: either "HEAVEN" or "HELL"! Not everyone will go to Heaven and likewise not everyone will go to Hell. It's your choice! It's always been your choice. Have you ever wondered why we all don't go to Heaven? Well, it's because of just one thing. But that "one" thing "separates" us all from God, and that one thing, is "SIN"! We are all born into sin, everyone is, and the Bible says that the wages (penalty) of sin is "Death". You see, because of our sins, when we all die, we are all "eternally separated" from God. But you know what? God Loves you so much that he made a way for you, for all of us. The Bible also teaches us that even though the penalty (wages) for our sins is death, we can gain SALVATION (a GIFT FROM GOD) through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. God made a way! He sacrificed his only son, for "you"! That's how much he Loves you.
      ROMANS 6:23 kjv
      For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Here's the GOOD NEWS, (THE GOSPEL) Jesus took your sins and paid your sin debt in full. He took all your sins, past, present and future, to the Cross, shed his Blood and literally DIED for your sins, was buried and then God raised him from the dead three days later. Anyone who believes in the finished work of Jesus Christ will be Saved. That's THE GOSPEL (which means GOOD NEWS).
      1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4 kjv
      15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
      2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
      He paid the price so you don't have to. Jesus is the ONLY ONE who could. He is the ONLY WAY.
      JOHN 14:6 kjv
      6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
      God gives you, all of us, this "GIFT", because he Loves you. How much does God Love you? Well, let me ask you this: "Could you sacrifice your only child?" That is exactly what our Heavenly Father did. He gave (sacrificed) his only begotten son, Jesus, for "you", for the "WHOLE WORLD"!
      JOHN 3:16-18 kjv
      16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
      17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
      18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      Please, don't let Gods "sacrifice" (for you) be in vain. Jesus "died" for you. Please "Live" (eternally) for him.

    Not only was this man, a toy collector, he evidently was also a devout Catholic. I can tell he was a good man with a very eclectic taste in collectables. All of these items can be sold in an estate sale and funds to go to his estate to got to his heirs, family or even charity. Hoarding is a sign of nostalgia and deep emotional attachment to fond memories.

    • @KibaUrufu
      @KibaUrufu 11 месяцев назад +7

      Hoarding can just as easily be a condition where there is an obsessive need to keep getting things to use later, or you like it. Something suddenly changes. My mother was becoming hoarder and even I was bad about it as I didn't care about cleaning so, more and more she got worse, I got worse. she didnt' care. my room was bad, the room with thedryer was half hoarded. the back half was unusable and the front half had a lot ont hte floor. Tables covered.. Stuff in bags behind couch and on cough. thrown in the side room (before my dad moved in and forced a cleanup, even with them divorced.) Dishes piled high. No one cared. I got my life better on track with therapy and medicine. She didn't. Our shed was completely the side of nearly a doublewide trailer and full of random stuff.
      Don't assume it was just nostalgia and deep emotional attatchment, please. Many people need help.
      They also said in the video animals have gotten to most of it, there are maggots and feces. Someone might want to take the time to clean it for themselves (or open the packaging for something to display) and it would be fine, but selling them even after cleaning the outsides?....eh...

      @@KibaUrufuHoarding and Collecting are to me two entirely separate things or ideas. For me the hoarders I've seen have kept garbage, trash, moldy food and other items with no value to anyone BUT that person, where as collectors keep specific items and as said specific memories that are important and have impacted their lives. @@EdsterIIIthe hoarding mental illness comes in two types: the hoarding as described by the boy which occurs in his mother's house; and the collector: this one also accumulates but we don't see dirt. everything is organized and cataloged by the person but it is clear that at some point it is not nostalgic but a mental disorder. I understood your comment and I agree in parts. the beginning of this owner may have been nostalgia and over time it turned into accumulation.

      Yes, you are a hoarder and so am I. You don’t need to be a disgusting hoarder to be a “hoarder.” There are neat-freak hoarders who keep everything organized but still I am a horde and so are you lol. There comes a time when you acquire too much, just for the sake of acquiring and then at that point it’s time to move on and sell off a portion of it. But chances are you probably have way too many marvel legends or hot wheels than you actually want or need.

    What is really frightening is just how easy a collection can get out of hand, my father sold off his main business in the early 80s and all his remaining equipment was put in the first floor apartment where it sits to this day. Family can't agree on what to get rid of or who gets which items. (All kinds of Coney island items ) top it off with my comic collection (approx85,000), a ton of Mopar parts for numerous car restorations and everything else that we all collected overtime...
    Now my own grown kids don't want to set foot inside that house, neither apartment collects rent, bills have to be paid and siblings just keep storing there own collections in different parts of the house.
    Just goes to show how even the best intentions could go south. Even selling on Feebay for over 20 years now barely made a dent in my own collection. To properly sort and liquidate that house in the video Will be a major undertaking.

      I found the location just by different information he divulged. Another commenter read an article on the owner. Trust me if you know how to do a litte investigating and you have urbexed before, you can find these locations. Even a random person can. It’s why it makes me sad these are on RUclips now. I explored back in the day before youtube, before it was called urbex, when it was for fun and nobody trashed and stole anything after we went in there. No one was vying for locations to make videos for clicks and views. I see so many of these places getting trashed within months of one “explorer” going into them. Often with $hit stolen. It just sucks for the respectable urbexers like him . When 20 “explorers” are in it for money, destruction and malicious intent.

    I’ve been collecting comics and toys for over 40 years. Keen eyes will notice some old comic retailer bags from the 80’s (featuring Marvel Masterworks) as well as Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1 (1st appearance of Bane) and Thor #337 (1st Appearance of Beta Ray Bill but the real treasure I saw is the Amsco MARVEL WORLD ADVENTURE PLAYSET towards the end of the video in the upstairs. It appears to be displayed on its original box. That piece alone is a grail with high grade complete boxed examples selling for thousands of dollars. Honorable mention to the box with the toy guns…that box was filled with Marvel and DC oversized treasury editions! Not terribly valuable but still pretty neat.

Too many doing the same thing, most have no respect for what they are looking at and have no knowledge about the buildings, or history. Just want to make big $$$. At least he's giving life to what's left behind by showing it to us. Within a few years, this house will become more decayed and all of this stuff will likely become ruined with water damage and mold. This house has been sitting like this for so many years and if it's tied up in court, it probably will be until it's too late. I have family who are fighting over a deceased relatives bank account and they have been doing so for about 30 years. That kind of battle can go on forever, sadly. Walmart changed it's clearance tags to the one on that toy not many years ago and have altered them very little since then. Just my thoughts, but a lot of the items in this house looks newer. Even some of the food looks way less than 15 years old. I can't believe there hasn't been more mice issues and the like all over this house. Good video though.

As for the toys some of that is worth hundreds and some of that stuff I have in my collection. The Addams family cereal is from 1991 the year the movie came out . Some of the art on the walls is also worth a lot of money . It's clear that guy had some kind of mental breakdown and that triggered his need to hoard . If the family knows about that place they need to hire someone to get in there and clean up and inventory that stuff before the wild animals or mold destroys it .

      Also if family gets wind of all treasures inside they can sell or auction it off and live very comfortably and possibly dump sum money into restoration of the house keep the house within the family.

    Wow, awesome explore. Just my guess but this guy was OCD for sure but kept it together for most of his life. Most likely a family member passed away, probably his wife. Then his compulsion went out of control and he just filled the place, top to bottom. You can tell the house was nice and neat at one time. He didn’t even move things like his kids belongings before he started really hoarding. If he was that OCD I would say his kids probably had a miserable childhood which may be why none of them have gone through the house. Just my opinion. I know the urban explorers philosophy is “take only pictures, leave only footprints “ but with this house I would make an exception. I’d rather see someone cart it all away and sell it at a flea market than have it rot away but that’s just me. I respect your integrity. BTW even though you were super careful something in your video gave away the state and region the house is in. I won’t give it away. Again, probably one of the best explores I’ve watched. Thanks!

    Wow... THAT is a lot of stuff in this house, and also a lot of interesting and nice things like movies and series collectors stuff, toys etc. Just awesome. And I though, I would be a hoarder... No, compared to this house, my flat is nearly empty... (Edit: Hoarder may be the wrong word, more: collector, even if there is a quite mess in the house :-)

    It's always eerie to see old pictures sitting around of the people that lived in these houses! Like a ghost.

    Pretty cool walk through guys. Thanks for sharing this.
    Honestly, I did not really see many valuable items. Most of the collectables he had were mass produced clearance items from stores. 20 years old is not really old in the collectable world. The comic books need to be in pristine condition to have value too. Most of those comics might be worth one dollar at best.

    Robbers don't now that 1 SW toy cost more than every jewelry they counld find in a house. For me, I appreciate the Smith Corona electric typewriter and the Kodak film box. Kodak original film box are pretty expensive on flea markets !

      @@DarkExploration you should be checking into the back taxes or if someone a family member owns it but doesn’t want it. Figure out if house is worth repairing and one can keep contingent . One would find a way to finance.
