This is the story of Christine & Bill, an elderly couple that married later on in life in 2007. Christine was 69 when she finally met the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She took on the role of a mother to 3 children, grandmother to 6 children and even a great-grandmother to 2 children. The couple had a big family and loved them dearly. Christine was a devout animal lover and advocate for their well-being. She took in many strays, even installing a cat door for them to come and go as they pleased. Her husband Bill had an interest in woodworking that he pursued after retiring in 2010. He spent many hours in his shop working on the pieces that he would sell at the local markets. The couple was only married for 15 years, and In October of 2022, Christine sadly passed away in her sleep at home with Bill by her side. Stricken by grief, Bill passed away shortly after.
With their passing, the remaining family members sold off the house. A developer purchased the property and three others that are neighbouring it. A massive development is currently underway to build new cookie cutter higher-density homes in its place. The surrounding area has been clear-cut, and the land flattened, ready to be built on. The only thing left standing in the way is Christine & Bill's home, soon to be demolished like it never existed at all

It's so very sad nobody in their family wanted the photo albums and the slides......😔
Very sad just broke my heart the pictures and photos would not be there if they were my family sad to see what is happening to their home 😢
It always boggles my mind why family members leave so many personal items behind.
All that cat food that could have been donated. 😢 🤔
Its because we all value things and are connected to others in different ways. It is sad though.
I love the history behind your finds... thank you ❤
If they cared so little for the parents' stuff, it would make me wonder what happened to the animals . Great video though
Noah nowhere thank you for sharing inside of Catherine's Abandoned country home it was a small home
What a sad story! How can family leave photo’s & other personal item’s behind? A sad but cool video! ❤️😢🤘👍
I said it in the last video....proud of you breaking that 100k goal...you earned it Son...congratulations.
I appreciate that James! Thank you 😊
the little door in the b
side room was for the cat to come in and out on the carpet on the window sill. the scissors were hung right above the sewing machine
100%, I realized that when I was editing the video haha
I loved this explore Noah, the story of t he couple had a sad ending, but they did get to spend their final years together. I feel a definite sadness and sense of grief in that home, and it is understandable given how they both passed away. I really enjoy seeing the photos of those who lived there, that is my favorite part of your explores. My heart does go out to these folks and it is sad that so much was left behind there just to be knocked down by the construction process.
It's about time u post there never good things to watch. Today. Thanks 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You are so welcome!
Hey Noah!! I missed you and your style of urban exploration! The hoodie that I won from you years back, haha, is sooo warm, love it!! Take care
I remember this house! They had spider solitary!
Poor Kitties
THANK YOU
I enjoy your channel so much! 👍👏👏
Glad you enjoy it!
A very sad house and story. A true Time Capsule. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is that a lake in the background, if it is, that is so sad no one in the family wanted the house.
A broken heart is a feeling I've never felt or want to feel again. 💔 it hurts worse than a c section 😪 . Thank-you for sharing cry all you want.
Another great one noah,so sad to see,but at least it has been well documented by you for ever on you tube.keep on keeping on.❤🇬🇧
I do not understand on all these videos how people just leave all their family memories, pictures etc in it just blows my mind. I would not leave my mother’s wedding photo album in a house to be destroyed.!
Hi Noah from West Virginia USA 🇺🇲👋 I like watching your videos
Possibly a family member lived in the Little apartment to help the elderly oarents
Cool
What makes me mad is the children not removing personal things and photos
Maybe there is a reason why. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you
I bet was a beautiful home 🏡 full of laughter and good moments 💞🙏🏾,😢
Wow. You do an excellent tour of this house. Nice and meticulous. Thank you for sharing this here. Otherwise I would never see this type of stuff and I do love watching these types of videos. Very sad at the same time. Seeing the remnants of families how they lived and then how they died. ❤ 🙏
I am from Ontario but don't live there anymore.
I can hear the Red Winged Black Birds chirping their "thrill" in the water logged areas. It's so lovely that song.
✌️❤️🙏 Hi Noah
Thanks awesome house I enjoyed watching
Long live the animals and wildlife . Great video thank you
So sad!😢 Than you for sharing this!
Super cool photos and sad that they are just left there
Assuming the children inherited the property & hopefully split the money received between them.
The reason the family members leave stuff behind is because the family disputes about the possessions and especially the Will who gets what and not talk to each other
I've seen those machines before, stand on it, and it shakes the fat off, like the old 70s version with the belt just more modernized ❤ 😎
Thank you for sharing what a interesting house and sadly it will be torn down 😢
So sad to c which looks like a nice house in such disarray. Im sure this couple would be devastated to c it
It always breaks my heart to see family albums left behind. Even if I rarely look at mine, I’ve always held onto them..
My mom hates me so much she threw my albums away. I have one with a few baby pictures but there are no other albums of me growing up. I lost my son in 1996. He was 12. I am so grateful for the pictures we have of him.
@@debby8428 how awful of her to do that. I’m sorry you had to experience so much pain, but grateful you at least have those pictures- those memories. those are very important things to hold onto. Your son must still be very well loved. 💜
@@JJboyCoffeeAddict Thank you so much for your kind response. You are 100% correct. My son is still very loved. My daughter (who is 41) has a birthday celebration for him every year on May 27th. She wants her children to know and love him even though they never met him.
@@debby8428 such an earnest showing of love, for her to honor her brothers memory like that, and for those kids to know about their uncle.. it sounds like a true testament to the love and respect you instilled while raising them. I wish your family well, and thank you for sharing something so touching. Your mother didn’t deserve you, but your children certainly did.
@@JJboyCoffeeAddict Wow! Thank you so much! It's amazing that a perfect stranger understands me when my own parents did not. I hope you know how much these comments/responses mean to me. Again- Thank you.
Wow. What an interesting story that they married so late. It’s hard to believe that none of their kids or grandchildren wanted the photo albums.
It also breaks my heart when i hear of spouses passing away not too far apart from eachother, apparently there is such a thing as dying from a 'broken heart' that there's a term for it. ' broken heart syndrome'. Its just essentially all the stress the heart is put under from a loss, and so the heart just gives out, and go into some kind of cardiac arrest
I like the backstory…great job!
It’s so very sad the things left behind
The house is a bit messy but nevertheless a absolute time capsule
It looks like the owners were pretty organized but I think some vandals may have gotten and shuffled everything in disarray.
The county museum might be interested in taking the photos and slides and any military memorabilia.
So sad I like them old slides thoe intersting
Great job again, Noah! Really interesting detailed explore❤ Appreciate this treasure of a home! I kept thinking tge upstairs should have been larger also, along with the basement!!!❤ Be safe young man❤
Thanks for the video. So sad, my parents home is falling apart and we've been trying to get most valuables out. After my mom died my dad only stayed on the house for about 4 years and he remarried at 81... So withit nring an old hooise anyway then no one living on it its fell apart so badly. Thats dich a beautiful home.
That’s
An awesome cabinet
I'm impressed you knew that was a DNR ..great video
The stationary tub sure was nice and it even looked brand new.
Too bad that people with hungry grabbing hands just come in and take over. 😢
Omg someone needs to rescue those plants and bring 'em back .. they arent all gonners yet. We could share them coast to coast and keep them growing!!!! Let me know if there is some way I could help and be a part of this salvage operation. 🙃
I see a lot of things that I did with my Mom when she started loosing her memories. I also see that the one floor lamp is exactly the same as my mom bought. They were some of the first halogen light bulbs. It was awful to change the bulbs. I think she bought them late 80’s early 90’s. You are so right with all the things on cabinets and wall. They must have trouble with their eyesight too. Especially after seeing the big diagram at the thermostat. Just amazing and very sad.
Was her name Christine? Or Catherine? Did I miss something?
I am wondering that also.
I just realized I messed up the title, my bad haha
@@NoahNowhere lol all good. I thought afterwards, that that might’ve happened. Great video, and the history behind the house is an added bonus.
Very sad 😢 ❤❤❤❤❤
It's truly HEARTBREAKING that none of their family members thought that they were important enough to take their photos / memories and they just left it there to be demolished with the rest of the property.... BUT.....they ABSOLUTELY had NO PROBLEM taking that check for selling their property!!!😡
**RIP CHRISTINE & WILLIAM
🙏💜😢💕🙏
😢😢😢😢
For being such a large family I can’t believe they left so much stuff. Especially photo. I have tons of slides from my Dad.
I believe its for canning
Its a shame some people work so hard to purchase an build& remodel their homes an now its going to be trashed n that is a nice little home :(
38:42, yes, that's a cork press
🩷💕🩷
That's why I'm not leaving my "stuff" behind for my children to have to go thru. It shouldn't be their burden because I collected things with no meaning to them.
@12:58 great find
I keep wondering why no estate sale or such then I remembered the year
Family should get photos
I think they were also a moral couple. You find that in people that went through the Depression era and the II World War.
Life can be so cruel and sad…
How did she die there in 2022 when you said it was abandoned in 2021?
Is anyone else hearing a males voice in tbe background.
There's another guy there exploring with him.... 25:59
There are many indicators that at least one of them was British. I wonder if maybe most of their family is across the pond.
Isn’t sage used to purify the house. Didn’t you say she passed in 2019. The dates match. Maybe that was the room she passed in. Very interesting. And sad.
The kids did not want any of the mother or fathers belongings. They left pictures, jewelry and ext. ?? How sad!
You need to turn your volume up or speak louder I keep thinking it’s my phone but other videos are louder please turn it up thank you
Seeing as you're the only one complaining an I know for a fact the audio is loud enough I'd say it's on your end but whatever, I'm not gonna argue it
A sign on kitchen cabinet door said sandwich ideas…peanut butter, lettuce, onion, cheese 😳. Idk, would you try that kind of sandwich Noah?? Me? Nope 😂
That’s a cat door with a cat hammock for napping
I thought the family would look after the house i never get why they choose to sell their parents houses...
Taxes and disputes between siblings
The family just leave stuff there very disrespectfull
Thats a pet door. They took xare of stray cats.
Why don’t relatives take the pictures and slides? Today they can be put on CD’s for future generations!!
Shame on the family no respect for parents belongings
Why would u leave pics behind 🤷🏻♂️
I feel it is very inappropriately intrusive to show photographs unless permission is given.
Daily affirmations are sometimes used in 12-step programs, like AA, not necessarily religion.
Please don’t judge the families by the stuff that was left behind. Some junk like liquor/beer bottles, chip bags, clothing etc are left by squatters. As for photos, I usually had mine developed as doubles and gave the extras to my parents, why would I want them back? And you can only have so many photos of the same people. If you know the house will be torn down, why take stuff out of the house to then take it to the dump?
Yeah not great leaving photos there awfull
Although super interesting, sometimes this ultra voyeuristic trend seems a little wrong. HOWEVER, the benefit may be that the families see these videos and realize how much stuff has been left behind, like pictures, and they go get them!
Hi! I’m one of those weirdos who can see, hear, speak - communicate with spirits :)
Almost always without my permission, unfortunately, I have no control over it. Even though I was told I can. I’m 43 and still no luck..
anyway!
Sadly, the female home owner is still here. She’s actually watching you walk through her home. She doesn’t seem too upset about it. She’s talking to you..
I’m going to time stamp when I think she’s speaking loudly enough for you to hear her. We’ve only just begun, but pretty much right off the bat, she corrects you at 12:25 and says, “it’s the living room” lol
You’ll need earbuds/headphone on the highest possible volume. You can find the voices of spirits within the “shh” sound of the air that naturally occurs during some recorded video.
It helps to close your eyes, as you’ll need to really focus on the sound of the air that’s moving around you.
I hear and see them differently, but this is how you can do it.
They also mask their voices by speaking when the living do, by speaking when sounds happen, and by speaking in a way that sounds like static, or cracking, to an untrained ear.
It’s a real treat when they speak clearly during silent pauses. Like she did here :)
I will edit with more time stamps as we go on..if she speaks in a way you’ll be able to hear, of course..
Edit: 14:52 she says “it’s not for that” when you’re wondering if the small door is to feed birds in that room lol.
15:02 she said “lord, jesus” but in an eyerolling type of way. She’s not praying, or anything. That’s not where she passed away.
15:33 this is one that can be mistaken for a random sound, but she says “get out” ..now you’re kind of irritating her. She doesn’t like how your assumptions are so off-base. She’s also getting a little upset that you’re looking through all the stuff. At first she wasn’t too annoyed..but..15:51 she said “why didn’t you ask me to be in the house” ..and then calls you a bad name 😳 lol
you most likely can’t hear her. Maybe you can? I don’t know. Her voice will sound like a breath of air to you..just listen hard.
17:21 “stop..move.. that’s private”
I always find these comments people make up about paranormal activity in these places super disrespectful honestly.
I try my best to give actually facts about the people that lived here based on obituaries, photos, documents and other things found in the house. Trying to be as respectful as possible is my main goal but people like you just wanna make up some bullshit story to make it seem like they know what's going on.
You might truely think you are hearing/seeing/or speaking to someone from the great beyond but let's be real here. That's just called being delusional. All you're doing here is talking about mistakes I made narrating the video and pretending the women's commentimg on it.
Grow up and find something better to do with your time.
Stop reposting what you already put up a couple weeks ago
This is the first time I've posted this location. Not sure what you're on about 😂
Someone else you watch posted it most likely.
You’re right I owe you an apology. It was static spaces. Keep up the good work.
It's a shame, a couple if miles up the road from me there are cookie cutter houses, and the condos which are really the modern day trailer parks, they are not pretty just grays tall walls put together, I would rather live in a nice clean trailer park at least you would have some privacy, I drive by those ugly town homes everyday I just can't imagine the feature
