This is the all-too-common story of what happens when a developer wants your home and succeeds at getting it. Custom built for the Cinelli family in 1987, this gorgeous mansion has remained mostly unchanged for the last 37 years. The Cinelli's loved their home, keeping it well maintained and cared for over the years. They enjoyed cooking and making wines. Their greenhouse was full of grapevine, and their front lawn had rows of apple trees. They raised chickens near the greenhouse and sold the eggs locally. As the Cinelli's got older, they started having some mobility issues. A small elevator was installed, as well as a special bathtub to make it easier for them to live in the large home.
In 2022 a developer came knocking on the door, offering to buy their home and property for 16.5 Million Dollars. The house itself isn't worth that, but the 25 acres of prime land for redevelopment it sits on is. The Cinelli's knowing this opportunity won't come again and already finding the home harder to upkeep in their old age, decide it's best to sell.
Back in 2014, the land across the street from this home was a large 120-acre farm field. Today it's home to a massive redevelopment building a new subdivision. The same plan is set for this mansion and its property. The developer that owns the house has been salvaging what they can from it. In the weeks after this video, many of the light fixtures, wood, and doors have been removed to be sold or reused. After this process is finished, the home will be demolished and its land flattened in preparation for the new homes that will take its place.

This beautiful home was built with such care and attention . Its such a shame that it will be soon demolished . Thank you for showing this Noah.
I agree it's awful that they are tearing this beautiful house down...how sad I'm sure there were wonderful memories made there
So shameful. I am so sick and tired of corporations coming in and taking this land and homes. We need the farmland. Leave people alone Hey those walk in tubs are very popular and expensive
If the developer had any brains they would keep it and use it for a venue for weddings or the clubhouse to make money. It could be turned into shops for the community as well.
I agree.. I have seen this happen with so many beautiful homes. I am totally convinced developers only think of money, money and more money. No brains and no respect for preserving such beautiful homes.
Developers are about making money they are not cognitive
They have no brains ...developers
A growing number of backing developers are from China. They act as investors and the purchasing developers are the fronts. Behind all this, the Chinese are involved in illegal operations such as drugs...
What a gorgeous house, the fireplace and wood was breath taking.
Assuming this is in Ontario, When I purchased a home in Glen Abbey, Oakville, Ontario in 1996, the surrounding area was farmland. Today, it is all tract housing and home to the new Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. Interestingly, the home I grew up in, in Etobicoke, ON, was built in 1954. That area, Highway 427/Dundas Street (Hwy 5), was the original Eaton family farm, which supplied the Eaton Co. stores.
Is this ontario..I'm in toronto...
This is my favorite home! All brick, white trim/accents. Love it! Obviously a quality build to stand the test of time…until a developer wants it. And all that gorgeous farmland will be gone too. But money talks I guess 😞
Needs to still be in Agriculture Production, not a Neighborhood.......
The government and Rich people don't care about farm land or farmers... Everyone can Google who is buying farm land and it's not to help plant produce to put food on peoples table... Farm land is disappearing at a high rate
Stunning and beautiful home. It would be a crime to demolish it!
There is a magical threshold of architecture, whence crossed it will stand the test of time, the rest (like most people) will fade into the dust of time.
A real beauty here Noah. Lot of money. Wow! I'm glad to see things have and are being salvaged. Always a pleasure.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a beautiful home. To bad it will just be a memory soon
THIS MANSION WAS AMAZING, AS I AM DISABLED, I CERTAINLY CAN APPRECIATE THE HOME ALTERATIONS THAT WERE MADE😊
Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea on where the Cinelli's are living at today?
The columns out the front of the house are definitely giraffe compliant 😂 🦒
I want that bathroom light fixture in my living room! It's so different and cool!
I love the floors! Glad to see some things are being salvaged. Thank you Noah! ❤ All kinds of fancy bathrooms and light fixtures. Seems these days everything is white and basic. These folks went extra! Just beautiful and tastefully done. Hope they salvage that fantastic staircase!
My God, did you see that development they were building and how close those shit holes were to one another?
10 foot apart.
This is America's future hell. They've been desperately trying to normalize Americans living in shoebox sized homes with all the Tiny House BS. No yard, just wall to wall junk homes made with the cheapest labor and cheapest materials not meant to last. EDIT: Apparently this is Canada according to comments. Glad our northern neighbors can share the hell.
Too many people in the world the Earth can't sustain it. I am afraid for my kids.
Why do people decide to live in cookie cutter houses next to each other that would seem more like a prison sentence to me!!!
Mind and social control would be my guess. They are buying homes as directed even if it's poison and watching them, as all these new smart homes do. They are prisons, and they are paying big money to live on top of each other in a controlled environment run by an HOA. It's a mad world. I hope they all wake up real soon.
I think it's been decided for them by the powers that be and they don't know any better.
I agree
I’ll never understand it either we lived in a development for many years because my husband had to live close to work. I hated it Now I have 12 acres and 2 horses and I don’t have to look into anyone’s house in the morning. This house here is a tragedy. So 😞. Halfway through this-can’t watch any more. Waste makes me crazy. There are so many older homes that can be renovated and lived in. Why take up good land for more stinking developments? My opinion 🤷♀️
I don't get it either and they overpay on top of that.
Beautiful so sad to see them gone I could only Dream of owning a home like that thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks that was beautiful house I enjoyed watching
Wow, Noah! Your editing and video work has come a long way since I first started watching you back in 2020.
Also, what a great house! Some of those elements really took me back to my childhood! Thanks!
Great exploring this with you!
Wow what a beautiful mansion! Cool video bro! ❤️👍🤘
It's certainly a large home but not a mansion
Brent from Abandoned Urbex Canada had this house explore as his last episode and guest appearance was the same kitty! 😀
Such a beautiful home. So sad that it will be demolished. Thank for filming it into a lasting existence in a different way. ❤
Definitely an Italian family lived there I can tell by some of the little things that I see.. Love the house, big but not so big that it couldn't be nice and cozy.
I cracked up when you compared the mirror to the Opera logo, since that's the browser I'm using. Even looked down to my taskbar to compare 😂 I am in love with all of the bathrooms in this house and the amazing tile work. The staircase too is just divine. Excellent explore Noah
This house is so beautiful. They shouldn’t demolish it, they should build around it. But now days it just cookie cutter houses that all look the same. So sad that no one takes beauty. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love all the growing system they had on this property a dead olive tree a dead grape vine it must have been a very productive place with its own manure provided by the chicken, that area must have been where they grew seedlings.
Beautiful enormous farm house with a grand interior, even the skirting board is immaculate and varnished. It was nice that you were able to get to this house before they gutted it absolute pleasure to see how grand it all is. Mary Joseph and baby Jesus.
That was a wraparound covered balcony, that Christmas decoration wow.
I am glad that you are showing that house as you do not miss all the details us viewers like to see as if we are in the actual place. The bracket wall lights in that bedroom very modern those wall light definitely Art Deco. That black bathroom must have been for a son of the family very masculine.
Very nice to see the bathroom was modified to accommodate an older person may be they owned the place.
Having seen the rotted base of the pillars in the front and some mouldy basement floor is why they gave up on the house younger members of the family would not like such a house. That looks like an Easter decoration.
Fantastic video thanks Noah.
This was awesome
Very ....paint rosebeige I believe..stairs golden oak or red oak similar..what is this for you said...Easter decorations with hanging eggs great job
Noah, congratulations on the 100k.👏🎉
Your drone skills are improving with every video. With the use of the drone, your intros have become much more professional and very interesting. Great job!
This was an amazing home. Great explore.🌺😀
The 80's curtains look like casket drapes
So sad to see it demolished 😢
That chair in the dining room looks like a doll chair compared to the size of the room
Really interesting explore. Congrats on 100K Noah.
The medication on the table, the little orange container, at 5:01. Only Canada has medications like that. Even the stairs at 7:54, Canada houses often use those designs, my house dosent as my family changed it.
Haha. Noah loves his Bidet! Great explore!😊😊😊
@user-iamRobinV68 yes he does 😁
Impressive, Noah. Your videos are getting better.
Gorgeous home, thx Noah ❤
You are such a nice person. This has been enjoyable. Thank you for sharing
Thank Noah, I only found you a few days ago along with a couple other creators, and am slowly going through your videos. That place was amazing! What was the small black thing in the corner of the bar next to the sink? If you might know? Thanks once again!
How sad , it’s a beautiful place … to live in a new home that can’t stand up to a wind storm, these old homes were build to stand for ever . This makes me cry
Longtime viewer here, Love your videos Noah ❤
Thank you so much!
Hi i can't believe that they are tearing this beautiful house down ,id do anything for a place like that ,thankyou for sharing it .
This was one heck of an awesome explore. Great Job Noah 😊😊
Thank you. Remarkable coverage to enjoy.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the drapes so beautiful! ❤❤❤
This is the best built house I have seen ever. All the rooms are large and everything is well kept. They were millionaires before they became millionaires.
Check out Houghton Hall for the real deal. This is just an 80s "mcmansion"....
@@reesedaniel5835 I find it tacky except for some of the chandeliers..some of the hardwood floors not bad...kitchen disappointing...
The sad thing is they don’t make houses like this anymore. Housed trimmed in real wood. I bought an old townhouse and fixed it up. It had built in china cabinets and built in hall trees with mirrors and a place to sit and take off your shoes and then the seats lifted up so you could put your shoes in there. I collected high value antiques at the time. Above all the doors there was an opening so air could flow through the rooms. It had an old brick fireplace. It was gorgeous. I sold it and built a house, but I will never forget all the oak trim in that house. Houses these days don’t have features like that anymore.
Before they demo, they should have an open house and let anyone (Habitat for Humanity, etc) scavenge the remaining doors, windows, trim, marble, etc. It's a shame to let it all go to the landfill.
They are greedy. They will salvage it themselves and sell it for top dollar to line their greedy pockets.
Beautiful home. Such a shame to demolish it. Love the wooden doors, and the chandelier and light fixtures. Each one of them are unique!
I would hope the developers would incorporate it as a main building. Sales, meetings, library make it a little town!
FYI, The trim you see had been removed from the cabinets over the kitchen sink and counter by the dish washer! not the Curio cabinet!
Very nice house,it is crazy going to tear down
Land fills will be overflowing if not already. : (
As a woman I call those silly small lights in the ceiling boob lights. Bwahaha!
This home is beautiful. Some of the light fixtures were beautiful as well as the tile.I do hope the refurbish some of the house.Such a shame it will be demolished.
Beautiful Home. Awesome.
I hope they never demolish this beautiful house
Oh my gosh this place is beautiful
I don't care for the stereotypical mansion exterior at all but inside it's an all around beaut, almost. In the 80's it seems a lot of the finish work looked kinda fake, take for instance the fake stained glass and floorboards with fake wooden plugs hiding non existent nails or screws.
I do like sunroom area with the near complete kitchen.
Thanks for the tour Noah!
Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
This makes breaks my heart…All in the name of progress! 😢💔
Great Video, This house is shown in another youtube video, Possibly Urbex Canada. Don't remember, It was way before anything was touched inside. I remember them finally finding the elevator at the garage level. Also the staircase was really familiar. I want to say the outside was way different, Maybe overgrown? Any way just wanted to say I like the way you show and explain things as you go thru your Videos.
Great video ❤ 🇬🇧
The black bathroom is giving me a fifties vibe! 😂
Fascinating
CONGRATS ON 100K SUBSCRIBERS!!!!
Thank you!!
@@NoahNowhere is this house in ontario...I did find some of the decor well tacky ...
This house is my favorite that you have done...it's ashame they destroying this house
What a shame it's being torn down its too beautiful
Not my cup of tea, all that oak was oak over load from a 1970's double wide trailer.
Beautiful!!
This is so sad what a beautiful place such a shame
Someone liked Art Deco.
I absolutely love the tiles. That guy got that place for a steal really. Such a shame all the farm land is going to housing
That is so sad 😢 its beautiful
That is stunning
Hreat video
What a sad waste, such a nice building to be demolished for dozens of characterless boxes. I wish I could have walked around inside there , I love exploring buildings. And, I could actually wear my high heels there when exploring it and not worry about slipping.
Ur right it’s very sad
Noah .. I hope they save the floors to ..reclaimed wood is expensive ..I love those doors with the glass..yep, Mauve and grey were very popular back in the 80’s.. miss those days ,..My son was born inn1986 and our friends wedding colors were grey and mauve..They were very Italian ..first class all the way..Beautiful!!😇🦋🌈🙏✝️🌼🌸☮️🌹🌺 Noah are they going to sell the light fixtures in the kitchen/chandlier? I would love to buy one!!
Would be great to see a video of the demolition of this house......
“The baby” I choked when he said that. Hilarious. Habitat for Humanity is good for a lot of that stuff
thank you for not showing the gross things.
Beautiful home
Truly brakes My Heart
Nothing cheap in this home! Just wow!
Any time I see these videos, I always think how they could be made into multi families.
I would have to call this one the "Mauve Mansion" - mauve seemed to be a favorite color - probably of the Missus!
That was beautiful. 😢😢. XOXO
😢What a shame such a beautiful 🏠
Water and lite for the plant's...
It's a SIN to waste a beautiful home like this people can save it and build around it.🤔
I likethe2walk in fridge one might be a freezer awsome for the food storage
The room next to the kitchen is the formal dining room
Play developer could have turned that credible home into a recreation/community center/park by just adding a pool/library/ect. there didn't seem to be any water damage, would have been better way to "salvage" the unique home.
Someone stole the poor ducks head...
Stainless laundry sinks wow😊
What ashamed it's so stunning
Another sad story. Watching these, I feel like I’m at a funeral, but I can’t not watch.
