Maybe creating a “discounted” section on your website to sell damaged boxes, as long as the interior kit-parts are still in good condition. I personally don’t mind a damaged box and it seems a waste to me to just scrap the whole thing. Maybe just me?
They do have a section of their site that sells box-damaged kits. They sell very quickly though.
Yea they do have that.. it's called boneyard. It's usually sold out coz people doesn't really care about the box and want to get a kit for cheap.
Good for kitbashing tho
Davydov I wouldn’t wither even if some of the plastic is damaged I could go there for extra parts if some of mine accidentally snap when building.
Did you even watch the video?>
Honestly its really cool seeing how all this is done
i know right? hopefully they do more of these, its so cool
Same.
i totally agree damn
Wasn't planning on watching the whole thing, but it happened.
This is a very interesting video! To see all these kits together in the same place it's like heaven for Gunpla Builders...for me it's like this for sure!
I have no experience with Canadian Gundam, living in Italy, but from what I saw they're very professional and they care about their clients; I'd like to buy something from them but they don't ship outside America and Canada...for the moment...I hope...eh eh eh!
Thanks Gunpla Network for this video, have a nice day!
The wearhouse is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. As well as that full size Vegeta. This is the first one of your videos I have seen and being someone who loves to build Gundam model kits I couldn't stop watching. Part of me would love to have a job like this but another part of me worries it would ruin my love of it.
lol its not much of a warehouse, it looks like of house. If I'm not mistaken, he's running the store out of his house.
I just love watching behind-the-scenes videos like this. Makes me appreciate what goes behind my recent order at my local Gundam store.
I work in a larger Gundam warehouse and I don't know how folks manage with such limited space. Hats off to them for making it work!
You're living the dream. I'd love that job.
So do you, you know, slip out some kits? Jk. Do you have discount when you buy kits on your work place?
@@definitelynotnoreen I do receive a discount. However, contrary to popular belief it's actually a lot of hard work!
@@nintendogal9143 nice.
Never thought it would be that hard to manage a gunpla shop. But keep up the good work
Great Vid!
Very interesting to watch behind the scene stuff.
Really loved seeing the workings of what you do. It’s amazing!
Love this website ive used them a few times, keep up the good work my dude
This is inspiring. You can operate the store from the comfort of your own home
I'd love to have a Gunpla store near me but Gundam isn't really a thing in Germany.
Ich wär so blank lmao
Gundam is kind of a thing here in the Philippines (we won GBWC 2017) but I don't see Gunpla stores that much here
@@haleyleyley8951 you at least get to participate in your own gbwc
It is really hard to get gundam here in Germany....
just online....
Thank you for this excellent quality back of the scene video, I actually wanna do the same thing as you!
Idk how this got recommended but damn...i watched this like orientaition day
I really enjoyed this video thank you for sharing this
Keep making behind the scenes videos, Canadian gundam store. It was very entertaining. I looked for your channel but couldn’t find anything.
Love this video! I order from Canadian Gundam and they are great! Nice to see how they operate. 😁
In my country, sometimes the seller still ship the kit to the buyer even though the box of the kit is broken and without any confirmation about the condition.
also with FULL mark up price.
I remember ordering from theses guys! Got a few quality kits for a pretty good price, and a dope ass business card of shiny barbatos. Keep up the good work!
I did a local pick up about 6 months ago and wondered how Patrick managed CG from his house. Loved this behind the scene. I am with Canada Post. Happy to hear they made right on the sinanju. CP is safe dropping all signature-required items except for registered or certified items because of covid
I grab kits from CanadianGundam here and there. They're like a 45 min drive from my place but they have a pretty good shipping rate and delivery time so I buy online most the time. With the gunplanetwork discount code its pretty good. Most hobby places or comic shops that sell kits near me (within an hour drive) drive up the prices like crazy, has bad stocks, bad delivery rate or all the above. I pretty much only shop from this place (in Hamilton) and one other gunpla/hobby shop thats in Markham.
They also give out this pretty neat business card with a holographics Barbatos on it.
edit: lol just noticed the business card logo is that poster at 7:18
i envy you bro
@@LuciFer-jw6sn
Is it really hard for you to get kits where your at?
If your having trouble finding kits locally see if your area has a Chinese mall/plaza or just asian area in general. They're more likely to stock kits in their hobby shops and other stores as opposed to more western hobby shops carrying mostly comics and WH40k. Issue is alot of these small stores dont have websites if their owner isnt more tech savvy or younger.
im from Philippines kits here in my place was fair yet theres no hobby shop near my place its like 1 hour drive to the nearest store and 2 hours min to the other
I'm from PH too. We were at asia but we only have few gunpla stores. Some sellers here triple the price lol.
That's amazing you run that from your home. And you've been in business since 2005. Most business die in the first year. Gundam is like a niche of niche in the modeling community. I'm surprised your supplier would ship to a home without loading dock. A fellow neighbour runs a art framing business from home and gets a shipping container parked in the driveway. Normally it's not permitted. I liv e in the Toronto area with a large Chinese community and Gunpla is pretty much dead.
Man, I wish I had a store like that in my country...
I think that's a room in his house, I could be wrong.
This is so cool, please do more.
thank you for this content!
This is an awesome video. Running a Gundam Store looks like an absolute pleasure. You have the same work knife as me too! I miss my job ;_;
This is very interesting, keep it up
Wow having a store like this near must be amazing for a gundam fan its really cool to see how things work
Awesome to see how it works. And surprising to see that it is a small business with more of personal oversight. ^.^
0:57 I spy an HG GP01 Linkin Park ver hanging under that rifle back there. Me likes
That store is awesome!!!!
I always like having more sources for gundam kits. Will add Canadian Gundam to my folder! Luckily I do have a hobby store with a decent selection and decent prices I can drive to but sometimes they dont have what I'm looking for. Online shopping is also nice to and convenient.
that! is an asg scorpion evo at the back, nice! 👍
My head is Pounding with my mind shouting 'All that is Missing is an IRL Iori Rinko!'. I agree.
Damn, nice shop. Can I come work for you? There's nothing on earth I'm more qualified to do than work around Gunpla and Gunpla accessories. Lol
Storage full of gunplas and hobby supply kits... my gawd that's so cool!
RX 78 and Perfect Strike always my fav.
I have to say they're pretty reasonably priced I may have to give them some of my money in the near future LOL
Is it just me or just a gundam kit off the shelf feel so good
I’m actually looking into starting a hobby shop for gunpla and 3D printing. I like a lot of organization and business. Thank you for some good ideas
Man I wish there was a place like this in the UK. All the stores here charge at least double retail price and then shipping.
U need more MG Barbatos!!! Cool to see the bts.
I had to look up what a "Nicky Nicky nine doors" is. Never heard of it haha
I usually buy kits from them..
Really great place to buy kits. 👍👍
Don’t mind the box. Always support Gunpla 👍
I love seeing all this merch. I'm just too lazy to build kits, unfortunately. Well that and my OCD wants them to look better than I'm able to make them and I'm not interested in developing those skills. I prefer figures, but this was still very cool to see. Thanks!
I'm drooling...
Living the dream!
That was cool
Cool !
Do you operate out of your house? If so that's freaking awesome. lol
no. it's not
Fun insight video ^^. Not so sure about the one strip of tape with no packaging tho XD
In my country Indonesia🇮🇩, there are many toy shops that sell Gundam, 4 of them (BEST in my opinion) :
1.Multi Toys Store (Center (our Mall))
2.AEON Mall
3.Kidz Station Store (in Mall)
4..Toys City Store (in Mall, but not so much Stock)
5.Unicorn Toys Store (our Mall, from Semarang, Capital City Province of Central Java. In my City, Yogyakarta... there is also a branch)
👍👍👍👍👍
I’m interested on how you deal with the loss of the damaged kit. How do you cover for the loss?
that top coat is a must. I go through a can after just a few model car builds. The Mr. Color super metallics are addicting to paint with and you gotta coat that stuff or the slightest touch and it smears. So I understand needing a case... but 4? probably someone who builds A LOT or has their own gunpla youtube channel where they build/paint a kit per week.
I wish we have a physical store like this in Brazil....
if I was the seller: hmmm maybe it's okay to build just one perfect strike hmmm
Awesome
do you have any astray series?
m1,dssd,pmc,green and gold..been searching it like crazy
Do you do this by yourself all day and with the name of the music you played in the beginning?
i am looking for some metal composite, macross dx chogokin ,robot tamashii and maybe even some High Res.
the local BC Canada store either don't carry them or charge some ridiculous price, i need a alternative aside from going to japan myself
for example: god hand nipper are 80$ or higher + 12% tax
Bubble wrap it dude
Id use bubble wrap when i ship gundam to my client
Eh, i wonder if that HG barbatos he pulled out at the start was the one I ordered. Lol video came was uploaded around when I ordered it.
Does everyone own a tiny car?! Lol. I've never seen so many in one place. :)
Man that grimgerde really be givin me the ocd
Also I’m surprised I haven’t seen a “can u give me free gunpla” comment yet
Surprising
Also yeah seeing how this works is interesting
The perfect job. you delivery to Detroit Michigan
Who is your supplier and how much do you usually pay for the goods to sell?
What's the name of the music playing in the time lapse section of the video?
That poor Sinanju. :(
The Boneyard is actually a neat concept as it's not wasting Gunpla with damaged boxes; they're just sold at a discount instead of being thrown in the trash.
I wanna know. Does canadian gundam have over seas shipping?
Where u get all of that supplies? Do u contacting Bandai directly?
Lol the poor mailman. How many times did she have to go back and forth?
If you review the Twilight Axis Zaku III Custom please put Quattro Bajeena in the thumbnail
MAXIMUM EXPRESS lol.. never seen that before
A lot of point of contact items with Canada Post are being sent directly to a retail postal outlet for customer pickup for the safety of the carrier/customer. And also signature items are being signed for by the carrier and safe dropped (left in a safe place on the property) to avoid p2p contact. Not all carriers have the best judgement as to what is a safe place so please contact the customer support if your carrier is not doing there job properly. But keep in mind a lot of people try to make fraudulent claims so Canada posts decision on a case may take some time, they are overburdened, working through a pandemic and people as well.
this is...heaven.....*.*
Did you order everything directly from Japan?? May I know how and does buying in piles add up to be cheaper compare to normal price?
You have to find your country official distributor that will sell you stocks. For a store you have to buy in terms of skids
Where do you get all these orders from
Where did you get the giant Vegeta
this is interesting
18:10 cool gun! What kind?
Hi! How much capital do you need and is starting a gunpla business profitable? Thanks
Do you have Graze Ein in stock?
Really hope I can find store like this in malaysia. I'm still looking for RG Qan-T and few other RG model
Hey! Fellow Malaysian here. Theres plenty of physical stores, the most of course in the Klang Valley area, they're stocked with it. Search for Gamer's Arena and the likes. I'm studying in Ipoh and there's one shop operating from the owner's house. Thing is, a google search can kinda lead you to the nearest physical shop in your area.
@@ameerrusydanirfan1054 the thing is even with physical store, the stock they have is limited. I've been looking for some HG and RG unit and most of the store I visit don't have stock for the unit I'm looking for, same goes for the tools. That's now I mostly just order it online
What the boneyard mean and do yell have a link
So quite literally a basement job. It is neat and seems to be well organized. But I have to wonder, do you plan on moving the warehouse/work place to a bigger location with more space? I can imagine that one day the orders will be too much and no room will be available, thus becoming either a hazard or a maze. Also, how do you get rid of the skids?
Regarding the skids, it's logical to assumed that they get pick up again by the company that sends them and later reused again.
I'd love the RX-78-2 2.0, but shipping would be expensive to Ireland.
Do you guys ship to New Zealand?
Why don't you use a bubble wrap to protect the kits inside the papaer box when packaging them? Here in China, seldom store send the model kits without bubble wrap and cardboard box even just send one of then.
Hold on how do you get free shipping?
I just went through looking for the MG Full Armor Gundam ver 2.0 frame (the Green one) & it gave me the entire list without sorting out the HG. The site was NO help at all.
Were can i buy
You guys just do model kits?
what is your wedsite?
How many Smarts you own?
Where is this? Online or brick???
Its so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to do this has a job would really like to start a gunpla business myself also need more room in that office need like some shelves to put orders on
did u get your chair from Costco ?! i have the same one lol
