Wong Tai Sin Temple Fortune Stick - Alright, here is a tutorial on how to properly do a fortune stick at Wong Tai Sin temple.
What most people didn’t know is that the Big Buddha is only built in early 1990s so it really doesn’t have much history or local practices in this major attraction. In contrast, the Wong Tai Sin temple has been around for much longer and it has a history of how it came to Hong Kong!
Wong Tai Sin is a place where I grew up. Every year my mom would come here to ask fortune for me, my brother, my dad, my aunt… and everyone in the family. She has her own fortune tellers inside the temple who will answer her questions and such. Today I am showing Carrin and Ashley how I experienced the ritual in Wong Tai Sin!
