Mok Nor Mai / หมกหน่อไม้ / Steamed Young Bamboo Shoot
Ingredients
Young bamboo shoot
3 clove of garlic
3 clove of shallots
3 slices galangal
4 Kaffir lime leaves
1 stalk lemongrass
800ml. 2 cans actrackYanang leave the juice
5 tbsp. soaked sticky rice
3 tbsp. Padek or fermented fish sauce
2 tbsp. fish sauce
1 tbsp. of chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp. salt
Fresh chili 4 green / 4 red & 4 dried chili
1 tbsp. Padek paste - Optional
1 1/2 lb. pork belly
a handful rice paddy herbs
a handful spring onion
Instruction:
Boiled shredded young bamboo shoot ~ 20 minutes
Rinse off with cold water

Looks delicious especially with the pork. Our family makes it with coconut cream. You should try with coconut milk or cream next time
