This provides a good alternative to the stock pad, which is pure leatherette and can get a bit warm after a while of gaming. I appreciate that you re-measure headphones after firmware updates. I think that most measurements don't get updated on websites like RTINGS if a headphone had a firmware update that supposedly changes the way it sounds (for the better or worse)
I think from what I've seen here, I'd prefer the way these sound with the wicked cushons, but EQ would most likely fix any issues I have anyway.

Does the wicked cushions reduce the air tight seal that causes the drivers to flex when pushing buttons?
Hi Joe ive had those headphones i returned them but there ok there solid im currently using the Logitech pro x 2 wireless headphones for PS5 and and any games you play are going to sound good just something simple put the dongle in and play same thing with the cloud 3 wireless headphones i just ordered the Razer barracuda pro wireless headphones for PS5 i dont really need a mic annd they have a ten band equalizer whats your thoughts on those thank you Joe stay safe and happy to you and happy happy New Year to all

Just got these pads, I play on Series x, if I’m using the TB eq o take it I just put the Xbox sound setting to stereo uncompressed ?
I do have Atmos, DTS and obviously Sonic but this part always confuses me.

Thanks Joe. Can you do a wicked cushion test with the HD560s ? It is a very popular headset, I installed WC on a hd560s and the bass lift is unbearable. The 2023 version of hd560s has already elevated bass compared to previous iterations. May be different tune . Now with the WC it sounds like a no brand headphone. I tamed it with some EQ settings with Dolby Atmos but that still needs a pro touch ( yours)

It doesn't really have to do with the video, but I've been testing several Stealth pro models for a while now and they all have a static sound every time a sound is played. Does anyone know a solution? Sorry for my English, greetings from Spain!

Haha… I was so disappointed with myself for finishing the edit and still being almost 17 minutes long. One day I’ll compress it enough to actually make it short haha

I personally like the ones that comes with the headset. I sent these WC pads back, they rape the resolution of the sound and if you like the bass of these i would just stick to stock, you literally will have no bass with these things! Even if you EQ it wont matter, engineers that make the headset take into account of the materials for the tuning of the headset. Heat builds up slightly slower than the stock pad, but once the WC heats up, its just as hot!
yea I ended up getting the Stealth Pros over the Nova Pros cause the ANC is so much better for a noisy apt and the stock cushions are great for a seal.
I've just received the WC pad, and the left pad is like not properly done, idk if I'm doing something wrong but when I tried to fit it in on my stealth pro, it only fits in a way that the whole on the pads is not above the ANC mic. It only happens with the left pad

I bought the pads for my PC38x, and they are so much cooler than the standard pads, but the sound has become muddy.

Losing some of that bass is a positive based on my experiences with the SP - they were still too muddy as stock and needed a fair bit of eq to get them how I liked. Won;t get to try these pads though as the 3 sets of SPs I purchased all had issues and got returned!
My Stealth Pro has the problem that when it is turned up to full volume, it makes a loud static noise. I've already googled the problem, but unfortunately the suggested solutions on Reddit and co. didn't work. Has anyone here had the same problem and solved it? If so, how?
no big solution so far the only one is to not max the volume all the way
Mine are giving a loud static noise when I put the mic up or down which has now graduated to a low static noise all the time. I'll be sending mine back for a replacement and hope the new set won't do this.
Noise cancellation. Mine gets worse when adjusting either way from center. But it gets worse before better. Mine is on the 2nd to last ANC dot from the right. Static gone.

How do you charge the batteries? Is the battery charging once it’s on the transmitter connected to the Xbox? Or does the transmitter have to be connected to a USB connected to an outlet?
