Nice review. I’m still on the fence bout them. I’m on day 4 with them. Side note. Was funny seeing you in public with mic boom connected Vs inside without mic boom lol
Hello. I have a PS5 and an Xbox series s and I got the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Xbox version. I want to use this headset on both consoles but I don’t want to be plugging and unplugging the USB cable. What can I do? I was thinking of some device that would be conected to both consoles and to the headset and then I could just push a button and switch between consoles, but I don’t know if this is even possible. Thank you.
I’d argue about the buttons, the fact they removed the game/chat wheel is irritating (especially coming from the TB 700 gen 2 max) and the buttons are not distinct enough for me to easily find the power or Bluetooth while wearing the headset (I know where they are in order but the design of the power and Bluetooth buttons have a very subtle distinct, so I have to sorta rest my finger and really feel to get the correct button[which could be fixed by adding a unique texture to each button like they did the superhuman hearing] Another caveat that atleast my headset has is that despite the setting supposedly loading to the headset; anytime my headset turns off ( which is seemingly way shorter then the set time of 30 minutes) I have to go back in to the app to turn ANC/Transparency back on and mic side tone off (though it does primarily rememeber the settings of the buttons, EQ settings, and (though seemingly not working) turn off time.
@@MekelKasanova agreed, I don’t have many wants for the headset, but 3.5, and maybe a small internal battery to keep the headset on while changing batteries (due to the resetting of the options) would raise this from good to great. All in all I’m still really happy with the headset. Now to see if it stands the test of time ( my 700 gen2 max’s broke at the left hinge a week or two ago which is what made me pick up the stealth pros in the first place)
Hey!, Arctis Nova pro wireless has the battery swap functionality with a bigger battery as well. I own both and I am debating which one I’ll keep because they are both great in their own way
Cool to know. As I said in the video when mentioning that functionality on the TB headset that it was what I knew of and not a definite fact of them starting it
@@MekelKasanova hey do you feel the volume spinning wheel is kind of cheap on this headset? like it wiggles a little? Or maybe it is my unit and I have to return it? Let me know please.
Hey bro finally what headset you kept i have the turtle beach and because of all the buggy software issues i will change to the steel series do you recommend it?
Cool to know. As I said in the video when mentioning that functionality on the TB headset that it was what I knew of and not a definite fact of them starting it
@@MekelKasanova I think it is actually terrible you dont know that while you really point it out as an advantage over other headsets. If you review a top gaming headset you should at least know this important feature is allready used by a direct rival since a few years. No offence though.. It doesnt add value that you mention "not that i know off" That is an easy way of reviewing imho
Not trying to pile on, but to add to this; The Stealth Pro is not the first dual BT wireless headset. Many companies have done it in the past INCLUDING TB themselves. It was available on the Stealth 700 Gen 2/Gen 2 Max.
I've had like 4-5 hour sessions with these and use them for editing and watching movies and TV shows and they never get uncomfortable especially with my big ears
I’m autistic and wear headphones pretty much perpetually, and I also have a pretty big head, the stealth pros are fairly comfortable and don’t rub or constrict my ears any, but they get my ears mildly hot especially if I’m sweating (this is a pretty common occurrence for any leatherette type earcup and will eventually be remediated by aftermarket pads [like those from wicked cushion])
It really depends on why you want the headset. The Maxwells are better for music but the Stealth pros are far better for gaming. The bass on the Maxwells is not very good and it has less Bluetooth options. The drivers on the Maxwell are next level though.
I have these headphones and I'm sorry but my audeze penrose do a better job at directional sound. But if you're talking about function and features then yeah the steath pro wins. But I found a lot of those features to be kind of gimmicky. like the so called super hearing it's supposed to make you hear the footsteps better and yes it does that but it doesn't give you direction So what's the point. The only reason I got this headset is because the Maxwell's were on back order everywhere you go. But I will be returning these and I will wait on the Maxwell's I suggest you do the same.
It's described as a gaming pro headset for a reason, when you WANT those features that you say are gimmicky, you GET this headset. If you don't, then get something else that works best for you. Not everyone is gonna get the gamer pro headset, but those that are looking for all the features in one, even gimmicky ones, this is where they will go
There’s a lot of variables when it comes to this, audio on the maxwells can be more resolving but that is dependent on what your using them on. the Stealth pros have a good sound but are a completely different technology For FPS I’d say stealth pros have the advantage as they have more features based around that type gaming (like super human hearing which boosts the frequency’s attributes to footsteps and such sounds) For music I’d probably suggest the maxwells (though the stealth pros also sound good but not as resolving) and both can be EQ’d to preference. The maxwells do not have simultaneous audio while stealth pros do, The maxwells have a 3.5mm headphone jack, the stealth pros don’t. The battery life of maxwells is 80hrs, but the battery is non removable, The stealth pros have 12 hrs of battery life per each of their two removable batteries All in all both are great headphones, but the determination of which is better for you comes down to your use cases.
@@darkjacob886 honestly I think the stealth pros would fit you better, the maxwells have clean resolving bass but won’t really give the same rumble as the stealth pros
I bought both of them and ended up keeping the Stealth Pros and returning the Maxwell. Both are PHENOMENAL, and I primarily play single player story games, which I felt the Stealth Pros were a little bit better for with the full sounding bass. The Maxwell is a little more crisp and clear and best for listening to music…honestly you’ll be happy with both, but I’d say if you want a fuller , bassy sound and primarily game on them , then go for the Stealth Pros. If you care about FPS footsteps and do a lot of music listening on them then go for the Maxwell
What must also be said is that just like the Stealth 700 Gen 2/Gen 2 Max, when you get in a phone call or discord/console party via BT on your phone, it will cut your game audio by 50% or more. That makes this thing an instant fail for me. I don’t know why TB couldn’t figure out how to let users control the volume loss on a $300+ headset. SteelSeries offers that on their $180 Novas. I’m not trying to hate but it’s just frustrating that they still cannot do this.
..until it breaks in about a years time. Yet another plastic built from TB. Guess they didn't learn a thing from all of their failed models since 2020. At least Audeze was smart enough to go for an all metal build with the Maxwell.
