Got this for Christmas and i love it. Takes a little time to get used to but when u do the back buttons are awesome. Going back to regular xbox controller after a while u can definitely feel the size difference, regular controller is smaller. Only thing i noticed is that the trigger vibration doesnt actually do anything if u turn off the controller vibrate
Does the super human hearing work on Audeze Maxwell wireless headphones or the new A50 x Wireless headphones? Or is it only compatible with headsets that use aux?
Xbox Elite 2 is something I was disappointed with. Had it for 6 months and the X started to stick. No spillage, no Doritos, it just started to stick. A 130 Euro controller started to stick. Returned it and asked for a replacement (Yesterday, actually). I did the thing with trying to clean it with IPA and all that, did not help. I hope TBSU does not have that issue, because I do love the ergonomics, but I hate when a "premium" class product does not perform as it should :/ Will wait a bit and see what Reddit thinks of it as well.
@@Hazzan34085 If you google it, it was/is? quite common on Elite 2. Yes, my experience was shit, maybe not everyone has the same problems, but people did have them. Played racing, flight dogfighting games and some brawlers. And It was at most 40ish hours? So yeah, waiting for the answer, 2 weeks waiting time. Not funny, because when I pay, I want quality that is promised.
Wash your dirty hands before using. I have had mine for 2 years and only recently replaced it due to dropping it, still works but I hated seeing it visually 'Broken'. My kids controller on the other hand had the X and A sticky, after I opened it, there was all kinds of grime. Again, wash your hands before using a control and this won't happen.
This controller is over priced! Done the update and still the sticks don't work. I've tried hard reset (which it won't do) to try start again.. Still nothing. Now having to wait for a reply from TB
Can you use this controller wired for xbox? The battery life is an issue but I would be happy to have that option to offset it. Thanks for the video, very informative 👍🏻
Bought this a few months ago, and now suddenly the RB stopped working. Tried resetting, updating, but it's still broken. Now I'm waiting for a reply from TB. VERY disappointed.
Great professional video I have two questions 1. I play competitive games and I always need the cable..I have a razer controller without battery...only with the cable...my question is if I always connect this controller with the cable I risk burning the battery? or does it block and therefore I don't risk ruining it? the second question, what type of silicone cup would you recommend me to buy to cover the analogue ones? thanks for your time
Considering this, but curious about a long term use case, tired of buying elites just to kill the bumpers in just a few months. Elite 2 is now having stuck drift issues… I’m not rough on my stuff
Just got mine two hours ago and I’m in my truck heading to the store to return it. Just stick with the elite 2. The turtle beach is cool in the sense of having a screen on it. It feels about the same as the elite 2. Cannot map all buttons. The software for pc suckkkkkkssss and I cannot for the life of me get sprint to work on call of duty. I must hold down the analog to sprint. I searched everywhere to fix it. So back it goes.
Hmm.... $200 you say? I bought the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro wireless ($250) recently and was about to have buyer's remorse until you went into some of this controller's drawbacks.
Bought this controller Feb 28th/24 used it twice. Turned it on this morning would not connect to my xbox at first when it did finally connect it immediately went to the bottom of the screen and would not move back up. So disappointed 289 canadian for this. I should have bought a new elite. And game stop would not take it back because it was opened that's my own fault for shopping at game stop
I feel like Xbox gets all of the more creative third party pro controllers. I don't think I'd ever buy this controller, but I do I wish that Sony had more high quality and creative 3rd party pro controllers that were licensed and available.
Nice vid. The price is just a killer tho. It's over $320 CAD with tax. Even if the sticks don't drift, you could get 3 reg drifting Xbox controllers for thst price over the course of X years imo
Bought it. Returned it for a full refund. The button layout are not the same as the xBox Elites, so you have to reconfigure your game play (example: COD MW map button is hard to impossible to reach in game quickly as the left stick is in the way) and on mine the left button stopped working. Then the controller does not charge fully on the internal screen and the battery does not last near 30 hrs. Try half of that if you're using social or other irrelevant features the battery last even less. I had the vibration off and the handle lights on one bar too. The Turtle Beach xBox app doesn't even have the Stealth Ultra on it so you cannot customize it there or use the app at all. I would not listen to the endless 'influencers' pushing the and don't buy it.
Just got it but feels very plastic and cheap dont know how it will hold up long term. Feels like a 60.00 controller. Doesnt feel heavy and solid like the elite controller or a 200.00 controller on fence on keeping it.
Stealth controller with loud as fuck clicky sounds.... Are there any controllers on market with full stealth buttons that don't make sound, and with rubber rings around sticks?
Also i am using the gamesir se and man that controller is amazing and its 45 bucks!!! Controller is 10 times better than the elite and if it onpy had four bqck buttons it would be the perfect controller hands down.
Elite series 2 has 8 mappable paddles by way of a shift paddles, removable and tension adjustable joysticks, 3 way trigger stops. If Elite series 3 comes with hall effect joysticks , macros, turbo, and dropped the price to $130 US....Series 2 is thw best.
Owned one for about 9 months now. Right trigger doesn’t register 1/20 pulls when it’s in the short position. The Dpad feels bad and overly squishy/squeeky. The screen gives 0 use except making it easier to modify the setting, otherwise it’s just a gimmick. And recently the left rgb strip has shattered and the grip is now peeling off. This is after 7 months of total use (I sent it in to be repaired, they didn’t fix the problem). The only part of the controller I like is the fact there’s no stick drift, but the. The sticks themselves feel worse. When my controller was getting repaired I bought a powerA wired controller and my accuracy improved drastically, and the back buttons were in a better position. I would still be using the powerA if I didn’t feel to ashamed not to use this overpriced garbage. In my opinion, do NOT touch this controller. I have to send mine back to get repaired for the second time this year. Take your money and buy an elite or any other Xbox controller, because honestly stick drift isn’t that big of an issue and the screen isn’t more than a conversation piece. I mean really, how often do you look at your controller when gaming? Never right? So why would you need a screen that 1) distracts you (if you connect your phone) and 2) drains the battery.
Cheap garbage. Pre ordered one and within 2 hours the RT wasn’t working and the screen was glitching. Sent it back and got an elite v2 and has been faultless so far.
Returned it 3 hours after I purchased mine. The software is the worst shit I’ve ever encountered. Also kept cycling the tabs so I couldn’t even navigate it. Granted this might have been a “one off”, but from my research a lot of people have problems with the software. The buttons, feel etc was very nice tho. Also the buttons that came with it was horrible quality. You’re better off throwing them In the trash.

Is it necessary to connect the dock with the xbox? My cats eat cords for breakfast.
Is there a way to set up rapid fire on different buttons?
Do you know if there is a possibility to hard-reset this shit?
Yeah with the app you can
i seen in a video that there is a small hole underneath that you can add a pin into to reset it
