Every time i see a cool pro controller for Xbox, pc, or ps4 i get a little bit sad that ps5 doesn't have these cool controllers and not at $200 minimum
That's what I was thinking I use the fingers next to my pinkys to press the paddles on my elite. He seems to use his middle fingers which wouldn't feel right to me

This controller is so new that i haven't found anything about being able to troubleshoot. Any tips or advice? I want to be able to get notifications for text messages and stuff because my phone is usually on my desk when I'm playing. And just so you dont have to ask to make sure, i gave the app permission to read notifications.
I wish it had the screen and rgb while also having the features the Xbox elite does also not sure how I feel about the paddles I like the elite bc each finger gets 1 paddle bc I use 4 to my middle finger do the top and my ring fingers do the bottoms

I hit activate but immediately after backing out the app link screen and going back it’s disconnected and says activate again. That’s the only thing I can’t do with my controller is get notifications to pop up.
I get what Turtle beach are trying to do. However there products have been below par for years. It's never gonna match the elite. There are just to many cons like the dongle, although that falls on xbox's lack of USB slots. The name turtle beach just doesn't have the status it once had.
MAD AS HECK! Just picked one up. paired with Xbox right away and seems to work. Put on charger said 72% charged and charging. It turned off and now won't turn on. AND middle of day and Turttle Beach says offices closed.
Bought this a few months ago, and now suddenly the RB stopped working. Tried resetting, updating, but it's still broken. Now I'm waiting for a reply from TB. VERY disappointed.
As a serious controller user who is seeking out the next best controller with paddles for shooters and who's used the Elite Series 2 (ES2) for the last 4 years, the Stealth Ultra misses the mark. Its display is the best feature. But that isn't enough. The ES2's paddles are absolutely incredible. They're metal and lock into place magnetically. And just as equally satisfying is their placement on the controller. For me at least, my middle and ring fingers on both hands naturally sit perfectly onto the paddles making it the most ergonomic paddle controller I've ever held. The ES2 is by far the most overlooked pro controller on the market. The reason it's passed up by thousands of fps gamers is that it cannot be overclocked. PS controllers can be overclocked and that's the sole reason they dominate the market. The only reason I'm looking for a new controller is to find one I can overclock, but I'm not willing to switch to PS controller simply because the ergonomics of the ES2 outweigh PS ability to overclock. Which I know is a unpopular opinion. So for me, I wouldn't use the Stealth Ultra due to its cheap looking paddles and their placement. I'm not going to buy any controller until someone designs a crontroller that has ergonomics similar to ES2 and can be overclocked.
Wassup Techme 😀 I had 2 of these break in 6 months. The right trigger has a tap on the left side of it, it broke and the the trigger was leaning towards the right side and it jammed the right bumper up because of the trigger coming out of alignment. This happened on both of them, i had a extended warranty on em so i could get it replaced, but i think i will pass this time though. Maybe they will up their game in the future. Besides that both mine froze once in a while in use. And it froze my xbox up once in a while and some times i could not even switch controller even after reseting the xbox. When it worked i loved using it and and prefered it over the elite controller. Just wanted to share and see how many have/are experiencing the same issues. Love your content sir 😎🦾👍
im getting mine rma for the second time. first controller one of the rumble motors died and triggiers wouldnt release all the way. the replacment unit after one week has stick drift on right stick. pretty awesome to have anti drift sticks lol so we will see with the third controller i just expected way more for the $200 price tag
I agree mostly. It feels and looks cheap in the flesh. Requires a dongle but you can just plug that into Xbox/pc if you don’t want to use the dock. Button mapping is extremely limited, you can only map the back buttons to a handful of preset choices. Thumb stick adjustment is also limited to 3 choices. The controller does turn off with Xbox however it doesn’t seem to turn it on, at least not for me. Overall the price is too high, £$99 would’ve been a better price point.
Ok. Why would I waste my time wring reviews for products I don’t own. I’m guessing that’s your MO. Actually after I removed the dongle from the dock, it switched Xbox on and off.
I’ve used mine for 2 weeks now and I’m getting some drift on the right thumb stick. It minimal but definitely there if you set a deadzone to 0. I’m gutted because I love this controller but this has killed it for me. Either I have a faulty controller or the ‘anti drift’ bit is BS.
Good review as usual, T. One thing I like about my MS Elite 2 is how easy it is to use the D pad for pressing the diagonal contacts. Is it as easy on the Stealth Ultra? I ask, since it seems to have more of a typical 4-direction D pad. Also, how was the feel of the hall effect joysticks vs mechanical ones? Lastly, why do a lot of controllers have a 2-step trigger press instead of the 3 that the MS Elite has? Is it because most people don't use all 3 (which I do), or is it because it's just cheaper and easier to implement 2? Your description of the weird sensation when pressing the buttons concerns me, as I prefer an instant response when pressing them. Finally, what do you think what have been a more appropriate price for this controller? It looks interesting, but I think I'll hold off until the price drops. I would also like to see some long-term use assessments to see durability over time.
All the triggers and buttons have instant clickable switches on them they are magnetic with a fraction of de-press and the guy reviewing it obviously hasn't a clue when it comes to the deadzone settings on the thumbsticks as they are instant and react to rapid movement of anything you do in a game which makes games so much easier and faster to play which certainly makes a massive difference when playing shooting games especially online it gives you fractions of a second to beat your opponents in a game, It's a damn cool controller and definitely gives you the edge.. Is it worth the money.. well I'd say yes because it definitely gives you an advantage over other players.
If turtle beach would have made this compatible with the Stealth Pro headset somehow, shewwwwweeeee that would have been 💯♥️

my controller keeps buzzing in the mic and idk how to fix it
Where can you buy it for $200?
Great review! Any chance can we get a follow up on how the equalizer performs with headsets in the sound and mic department? Really interested if they changed superhearing mode and how each preset sounds!
Awesome review, my controller doesn’t connect wirelessly. I downloaded app on pc and everything. Works fine wired.
I had exactly the same issue! Tried for 45 minutes to connect the damn thing but no joy so sent it back! 😢
Great review man! Very thorough. 🔥
I have this controller… bad points select button to close to the analog stick . I only brought mine for the analog sticks and hopefully no drift .
Owned loads of elite 2 controllers all go wrong as they have cheap insides and will go wrong and as for the rubber on controllers it just comes off if you are playing regularly .
Can it show the fps for pc games?
Every time i see a cool pro controller for Xbox, pc, or ps4 i get a little bit sad that ps5 doesn't have these cool controllers and not at $200 minimum
I love the heavier controllers. Light feels cheap
Thank you for dropping this video , been thinking about buying
I want to love it so bad especially for thr anti drift but I love the paddle positions of my Elite Controller..😢
these back buttons/paddles are actually very nice
That's what I was thinking I use the fingers next to my pinkys to press the paddles on my elite. He seems to use his middle fingers which wouldn't feel right to me
Mine stop working :) doeasnt react and i cant turn it on, i just take it off from docking stand, led turns off and thats it
can u use this wired?
So you can't charge and play at the same time?
you can if you plug it into the controller
@@TheTechne oh I thought that the big charging block behind the controller was blocking the paddles
Everytime i connect it to my phone and go to settings, it disconnects and turns off for some reason and i have more than half battery life at a minimum. This controller is so new that i haven't found anything about being able to troubleshoot. Any tips or advice? I want to be able to get notifications for text messages and stuff because my phone is usually on my desk when I'm playing. And just so you dont have to ask to make sure, i gave the app permission to read notifications.
What is name of app and is it available on Android? Searched for control center didn't find.
Yea control centre 2 it's a white circle with purple tree logo on android
Can you please make a comparison between the stealth ultra vs the raikiri pro????😊
What is the best Xbox controller
Vitrix seems to have the least number of issues.
For $199.99USD its kinda gross there’s no metal around the controller
Try 250 canadian
I wish it had the screen and rgb while also having the features the Xbox elite does also not sure how I feel about the paddles I like the elite bc each finger gets 1 paddle bc I use 4 to my middle finger do the top and my ring fingers do the bottoms
Whats the app called?
can you make a vid of the best headsets built like a tank? I'd love to see what you feel are the most durable headsets while also have having great sound quality and features
If I use the orange or red rgb will it warm my hands?
only if its set to color cycle to keep the heat flowing
You should be able to put backgrounds on the screen. That would be a cool feature.
Anyone got any idea how to sync the notifications? I connected Bluetooth to my phone but I’m not getting them. I hit activate but immediately after backing out the app link screen and going back it’s disconnected and says activate again. That’s the only thing I can’t do with my controller is get notifications to pop up.
same
I get what Turtle beach are trying to do. However there products have been below par for years. It's never gonna match the elite. There are just to many cons like the dongle, although that falls on xbox's lack of USB slots. The name turtle beach just doesn't have the status it once had.
I totally agree on their quality! Their customer service sucks too
Elite 2 is garbage as well, although it does feel a lot more premium in the hands.
MAD AS HECK! Just picked one up. paired with Xbox right away and seems to work. Put on charger said 72% charged and charging. It turned off and now won't turn on. AND middle of day and Turttle Beach says offices closed.
Did you do the firmware update? Cause I have no issues with mines. I use it on PC and my Xbox
@@angelbrace5962 I was going to do the firmware update but it had turned off before I got to it and won't work with it off.
Wassup Techme 😀
I had 2 of these break in 6 months.
@@Bender-is-Great69Sorry to hear that, i can not recommend this product to anybody. Good luck with yours 👍
Do a video on how the social apps part works I'm lost on how that works
I agree mostly. It feels and looks cheap in the flesh. Requires a dongle but you can just plug that into Xbox/pc if you don’t want to use the dock. Button mapping is extremely limited, you can only map the back buttons to a handful of preset choices. Thumb stick adjustment is also limited to 3 choices. The controller does turn off with Xbox however it doesn’t seem to turn it on, at least not for me. Overall the price is too high, £$99 would’ve been a better price point.
You have never used one or you would know half of what you have written is wrong.. especially about the Xbox on off function.
Are the sticks metal?
Nope, all plastic.
I would also like to see some long-term use assessments to see durability over time.
not as easy as the elite. its weird, kinda like double clicks when pressing it down.
I assume the 2 step trigger stops would be due to most using either full range or a single click
