Hope the Mt Dew helped get you thru the day! Thanks again Adam for all you do!! Sorry we tracked you down but just wanted you to know how much we appreciate what you do! Thanks Adam!
markmnorcal it's a turn off phrase used quite often to describe a thought that does not form part of your main train of thought and is easily dismissed, but thank you for shouting your sarcasm at me - very necessary.
Welcome to the 40s...it only gets worse as we age. :-). However, you have a FANTASTIC memory. I'm always impressed with your recall of movie details and related facts.
I'm way ahead of you there in the "losing my mind" department, Adam! :-) Great vlog... but you're sounding a little hoarse... speaking as one who's currently sick with the seasonal ick, take a day or two off if you need it. You can even just film a clip of you lying in bed sniffling if you must absolutely put up SOMETHING - but take care of yourself!! We'll still be here if you need a break.
Your drone shots get better and better the more you do them! You should head to somewhere with lots of fall colors, like Northern Michigan, and capture the beautiful canopy, I never get tired of those kind of shots.
Hitchcock would be proud. Today I rewatched the videos I filmed when I was out in California with you. Man super goofy but I had such a good time out there! Thanks for letting me hang out with you out there! I hope to return the favor in Japan!
Excellent work, didn't know salt lake was so beautiful! Really enjoyed the sandlot vlog. My son got a drone for his birthday and we are naming it the majestic. Thank you for all your videos!!!
You were so right about buying the drone. When you first bought it I thought OK. But now, the "beautiful" shots you get & the ability to access places otherwise inaccessible, it blows my mind. Hey Adam, You are beautiful!!
The black and white bird with the long tail was a magpie. We drove through SLC on our way to and from the Grand Canyon earlier this year. SLC itself is indeed a lovely looking city, but the stretch of I15 from Ogden through Provo was the one of most congested and stressful drives I have ever experienced (it was like LA). We drove the stretch on the way there and back -- I am sure part of the stress was from hauling our horse trailer and two horses with us.
@ 10:06 "The sky is red with goodness", then a fire truck heading out. The red sky can be the glow of someone's house on fire. I know it wasn't, but funny the way that played out.
KFC with The Woo! How fun! :-) I've only been to SLC once, and just in "passing through" on our way to Denver. But I'd like to visit longer - my mother and grandmother (her mom) used to go every year for many years, to use the genealogical library. Both were/are hard-core genealogists (grandma passed away several years ago, and mom doesn't do the trips anymore, but only because she's got enough material for the moment - two books published and more to come, apparently!). I never really got into it, but was always curious about this city they journeyed to every summer.
PETE BARNES Thank you! I guess you can say it's slightly LDS version of Adam's channel (though not as good as his), but I try to keep myself from "forcing" my religious beliefs down someone's throat.
You know, you can do a VLOG once in awhile about chilling and taking care of yourself. We don't want to lose you because you ran yourself ragged. I'm sure just a video of you relaxing and watching Netflix would be quite interesting with Abwooham Lincoln and Ahnold would be just as amusing to most of us. I can relate to the pushing forward constantly thing. In my early 30's I was recovering from near suicidal depression in my late 20's... spending a few years pretty much stuck in my house when I wasn't working. So when I was doing the recovery thing and trying to make up for the years lost I was pushing myself to keep busy, joining groups, volunteering, going places, always on the move, and nearly burning myself out. I was afraid if I stopped it meant I was depressed. One day I just pushed myself too much til I was sick and exhausted, I had a good friend point out to me how important it was for my MENTAL HEALTH to take care of my physical health- and that needing a night, or day to chill didn't mean I was depressed. Take care of yourself, ok? Part of why you're losing things is because you're running yourself down running around. You can't live on MT. DEW, COFFEE and Restaurant food (especially fast food) constantly without it taking it's toll... hate to say, you're not 20 any more.
Wow that is a beautiful veiw of S.L.C. all those lights - Together with the that beautiful sunset ? - I would love to have a go at what you do - So amazing - The Best thing is for those of us who cannot sight see like you do - Is that you let us tag along ?Thank you Mr Woo !!!
Gilgal gardens is so cool! If you have time you should check out Thanksgiving Point or Lagoon Amusement park! Or any of the canyons are so pretty this time of year, you could get great drone shots!
In the 90s when I visited Gilgal with friends we had to trespass behind a house to get back there. The same night we saw a lot of people with candles crowding around the Virgin Mary tree. Love your vlogs, keep up the good work:-)
Before you leave SLC, it may be worth stopping by Saltair Pavilion. The location was used in the 1962 film Carnival of Souls. Although the building seen in the film has been destroyed and rebuilt, it might be worth a Majestic flight.
I loved the "Mary Tree," I hid a geocache up in the water tower... and in Gilgal, and at the first KFC... haha. Good run around some of the SLC sites. A lot the places I take people are places you hit! Fun video. Also the bluejay was a magpie :)
we have a corner near my street where tons of birds always sit on the power lines -we reackon they are waiting for a momentous moment to occur -because they seem to be very focussed
Thank you so much for making these vlogs Adam I know how taxing this can be without having any breaks like a regular job would. I have been here a while and I have never gotten bored of your videos and not everyone can do that, so thanks for all the vlogs Adam keep it up!
Next time you are here go to an Arctic Circle it features Fry Sauce which is only found in Utah. It is Ketchup+Mayo and we use it with our french fries here.
Morning Adam..the coffee is hot and delicious this morning and you are bootiful too! I think we all would allow you to take some time off so that you stay healthy for all of us woo-fans! That was a really cool garden!
When you come back to Florida, if you go to the Dali Museum, there is an office building in St. Pete where they cut down a tree and it revealed on the glass of the side of the building an image of the Virgin Mary. So someone erected a large cross and people leave candles and flowers.
I love the format of the daily Woo also Adam. The vlogs keep me enlightened and motivated as well as they do you. I'm sure I'm not alone in thanking you for your dedication to your craft. You are RUclips's undisputed king of content!
Harmon was the man who convinced Sanders to start franchise and even helped him come up with the name. Hence! The first KFC is in Utah. Not Kentucky...... WORD.
Manfrotto - No wonder you hated losing it. I have two, a full size studio model, and a portable, and they're a "buy it once and use it forever" item. They'll probably outlive us. Unless, of course, we lose them...
I love Salt Lake City , my sister lives in Kaysville Ut , went there in 92' and rented a van and drove to Ogden to look for the school were the movie Three O' Clock High was filmed . One of my favorite 80's movies. It was awesome to stand in the school yard were the fight scene took place. Couldn't get inside the school but it was one of the best days of my life . Beautiful city !
It's one thing to go, go, go but you still must take care of yourself. As much as I enjoy these vlogs and travelling with you, I don't want you to get sick. Having fun with this Slightly Unusual! Have a safe, healthy day!
I met Colonel Sanders at Logan Airport Boston back in the seventies, he was dressed in his usual white garb and my sister and I ran to him, and he gave us an autographed picture.
GOOD MORNING, ADAM! Sal Tlay Ka Siti Not just a story mama told But a village in Ooh-Tah Where the roofs are thatched with gold If I could let myself believe I know just where I’d be Right on the next bus to paradise Sal Tlay Ka Siti
Adam, your hours are long, your work is hard and you obviously love what you are doing. You made the right decision to leave your day job and pursue your career creating this permanent record of life in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 ..... America. In 100 years, people will look back at your work and study it. The video record you are creating is important work.
Hope the Mt Dew helped get you thru the day! Thanks again Adam for all you do!! Sorry we tracked you down but just wanted you to know how much we appreciate what you do! Thanks Adam!
I keep losing things , one day Im going to lose my mind . Trust me
adamthewoo a part of me genuinely thought the gift at the front desk was going to be your tripod. shameful I know.
markmnorcal it's a turn off phrase used quite often to describe a thought that does not form part of your main train of thought and is easily dismissed, but thank you for shouting your sarcasm at me - very necessary.
Welcome to the 40s...it only gets worse as we age. :-). However, you have a FANTASTIC memory. I'm always impressed with your recall of movie details and related facts.
if you chain it to you, I guess you'll never lose it
I'm way ahead of you there in the "losing my mind" department, Adam! :-)
Great vlog... but you're sounding a little hoarse... speaking as one who's currently sick with the seasonal ick, take a day or two off if you need it. Such beautiful sunrise and sunset shots with the Magestic!!! Technology is beautiful. Thanks for another great video, Adam!
Fantastic drone view with the Majestic! Love those views. Happy travels!
Thanks, Adam, for sharing your adventures and showing me places I've never been! Those drone shots of Salt Lake City were incredible! Safe travels!
Your drone shots get better and better the more you do them! You should head to somewhere with lots of fall colors, like Northern Michigan, and capture the beautiful canopy, I never get tired of those kind of shots.
SLC and Utah in general are beautiful. Thanks for taking us along.
Hitchcock would be proud. Today I rewatched the videos I filmed when I was out in California with you. Man super goofy but I had such a good time out there! Thanks for letting me hang out with you out there! I hope to return the favor in Japan!
We appreciate all the hustle Adam!
Much love to you, Adam! Keep on being awesome!
Another fine adventure detailing little things and places most just drive past everyday.
The KFC in Salt Lake is the Worlds First Kentucky Fried Chicken, Harlan Sanders restaurant in Corbin, KY was called Harlan Sanders Cafe
Yep, Pete Harman came up with the name Kentucky Fried Chicken, so it is in fact the site of the original KFC restaurant!
You are right
Well I'LL be dipped and fried!!
Excellent work, didn't know salt lake was so beautiful! Really enjoyed the sandlot vlog. My son got a drone for his birthday and we are naming it the majestic. Thank you for all your videos!!!
Wow, I love the last few shots of the city. Awesome!
You were so right about buying the drone. When you first bought it I thought OK. But now, the "beautiful" shots you get & the ability to access places otherwise inaccessible, it blows my mind. Hey Adam, You are beautiful!!
WOW!
That last drone shot passing over the buildings was amazing.
Adam, I am turning into an AdamtheWoo fan. I really enjoy your point of view of everything is beautiful and how you notice everything.
keep your immune system up!
especially with all the travels!

MrJest2 If you are ever in SLC, let's meet up and collab.
Pillar Killer so cool! Perfect lunch👍. Glad to find your channel as well.

That water tower is the old Trolley station which is now called Trolley Square. The oldest tree in Utah is in there.
In the 90s when I visited Gilgal with friends we had to trespass behind a house to get back there. The same night we saw a lot of people with candles crowding around the Virgin Mary tree. Love your vlogs, keep up the good work:-)
Loved the drone shots today! Thanks Adam.
Hey Adam , check out , Liberty Park in 800 sw, of the temple, it has a bird santuary, and a small park w/ rides

Southern Utah has some really amazing places. I will give you one of my favorites a lake that is literally called fish lake.
Joseph Smith Sphinx statue is one majestic piece, the head wear looks like the helmet from Battlestar Galactica!
I'm guessing that black bird was a magpie. I bet he stole your tripod! Devious fowl!
They are also known for being top rate thieves. :-)
Ruthy D yep, indeed, them are magpies! We have them in Idaho too💕

I think that is the first "Kentucky Fried Chicken" the KY one was called Sanders Cafe (or Corbin Cage, cant quite recall).
Adam, if you get back to Kentucky you need to go to Corbin where they have a Colonel Sander museum.
Come to Victory Park in Dallas! Right down from the JFK X in the road!
Have a great day Adam! Yet another great vlog!
Adam,
That bird was a Magpie. I'm not LDS but would sure like to see a drone shot of Temple Square with it's cool buildings.
