I absolutely love those sound grates, soooooooooooooooooooooooo cool lol Great vlog, great adventure!!!! Sunset is awesome!!! Thanks for taking the time to share with all of us!!!!!!!!! Have fun, be safe!!!!
Please go to Casa Bonita. Just curious if it's still there and if it looks the same. Used to live in Denver as a child and loved that place. One day I will try to make it back there for a visit, hopefully.
The cheeseburger was invented by Lionel Sternberg in 1926 at the Rite Spot located in Pasadena CA . Humpty Dumpty trademarked the name "cheeseburger" ten years later
Check this link for the history of the burger and when cheese was added >www.cheese-burger.net/history< and a quick Wikipedia search will also confirm the Pasadena birth story.
bob91024 , I stated the same but I guess the truth doesn't matter to the uneducated. You could say the moon was round but if Adam said it was square, then it must be square.
My ex-wife lives in Denver. Back in 1967 we were married in Golden, Colorado across from the Coors brewery...I blame the fumes. It's a nice place though with lots of nice folks. Get an Uber out to Casa Bonita. Food and a show like you have never seen. Right up your alley.
Great drone work today Adam!! Using mine at the moment on a trip to California and nearly lost it at the coast yesterday....!! So I can appreciate your skilled thumbwork!!
Awesome! As usual. I love your t shirt Adam! That first bird "in" the sidewalk was a loon. I love that sound!! Brings back so many memories of my summering as a kid up in Maine!
Good Morning to you in the Mile High City. Loved your vlog. Looks like Denver is a very clean city. I loved the drone footage of the skyline. That was neat the way you showed the streetcar riding by. Looks like the weather is perfect for you. Hope it stays that way while you are there and no snow is in the forecast.
Thanks for the memories. I live there from 1983 to 85. I lived a block away from the capital building. Looks like the have a lot more cool art sculptures since I was there. Is Colfax Ave still exciting like it was back then ? Love the drone shots.........
Hey Adam! Welcome to my home state! In Denver there is a great restaurant called the Buckhorn Exchange off of Osage on the light rail line. It has the first liquor license for the state and tons of taxidermy inside. Definitely worth a visit.
Francine Scott Yes. Absolutely! He also keeps buying new t-shirts. I think it's time to do some laundry. He's got to be running out of clean underwear soon! 😆
Okay.... I didn't expect you to go as far as Denver.... good surprise! Must have been fun on a puddle jumper! Been to Denver once.... my sister lived in Lakewood.... and my brother in law worked in the big black bank building right downtown at some architectural firm.... but I was there in '76.... so I am quite sure much of the city has changed. Looking forward to what you find.... you should get some video of the strange paintings at the new Denver airport..... Thank Woo for another great vlog!
Adam, one half hour to the west from downtown Denver is Buffalo Bill's burial site up in the hills. Awesome view of the city and a great gift shop! They also have a stuffed Buffalo there that's over 100 years old.
That pile of red hot dogs thingy is named "National Velvet" by Carter & Burgess. We called it the Beanis because of what it looks like when lit up at night. Check it out at night and check out Meth Horse when you go back to the airport. Welcome to Denver!
Good morning Adam, I used to live in Ft. Collins when I was a teenager and they have a cool reservoir and mountain shaped like a Horsetooth over looking it. Also Cripple Creek is an old gold rush ghost town just west of Denver that is soooo cool!
Great vlog Adam! Elevation in Denver is close to 8,000 I think and Breckenridge is the highest at like 10,000. I used to ski in CO. If you get a chance check out Breckenridge, for its quaint and majestic scenery,. Also, there's a pretty park for good drone shots at Sapphire point. I have not been to CO since they approved the Marijuana cafe's etc. Interesting to see. Dollar Tree for disposable sunglasses too.
Check out the river walk! The Majestic would get great shots. It might be a good idea to get a bus to Boulder lots of views, hiking, and interesting locale there.
Good idea. can add movies, Sleeper as well as Catch and Release was also filmed there. He did About Schmidt in a Nebraska vlog but it was also filmed in Boulder.
Shannon Brown I watched that show faithfully each week and my daughter while growing up would watch it when sick. Mom put Mork in please please please. Adam has been hitting a ton of her favs lately I can't wait to show her when she's home next. And if he does Mork she's gonna love that too. She's also a Brady freak. I taught her well. 😜😂😂😂😂
here is a little bit of trivia The show the courtship of eddies father Eddie was played by Brandon Cruz from the band Dr. Know and then later on he sang in the Dead Kennedys
Always fun to see Adam visit somewhere so close in proximity to you. Hey Adam, if you want somewhere super historical in Denver, the Buckhorn Exchange is super fun, old, and weeeeeiiird. Also, Union Station is pretty fun and super old as well.
I use to live in Denver and go by the capitol building everyday, this time of year is so nice there, unless it is snowing. Now I live in Japan, good evening from the other side of the world.
Kevin Mccollum omg staying at the Stanley is in the top ten of my USA bucket items. That would be outstanding to see!!! I 💖that movie. I just haven't convinced anyone to go there with me. 😂😂😂😂 they all tell me you're nuts!!! 😱😜
While you're there you should check out the REI flagship store. It used to be the power station for the trolley system in Denver. There used to be a really cool plaque with the history of Denver on it. I'm sure it's still there. Also there is/was a cool path along the creek there. If it was before Labor day I would also recommend driving to the top of Mt. Evans, highest paved road in the U.S. There is a observatory and the ruins of a restaurant that blew up in the late 70s. I really love Denver!
I like that we get to see what a town really looks like not just the travel agency photo stuff. For example, I never realized Denver was so flat and honestly kinda washed out looking. Not referring to the camera either but rather the feel of it. Kind of reminds me of how Chicago looked. Thanks for sharing these places with us.
Colorado is the cleanest state I've ever visited, Adam. Was there back in the early 90s. We left Denver and drove out to Colorado Springs. Saw a guy jogging barefoot in town when we arrived,.
Welcome to my state!!! Altitude ain't nothing to mess with LOL Wish I could get up there to come visit you! Denver is a neat city, hope you're having a good time! Hope you went to/or are going to eat some Casa Bonita!

Yes! You're finally in Colorado! There are so many cool places I want to tell you about, I could probably detail a month-long tour! Too bad you aren't here long... If you make it up here, make sure you visit Fort Collins. It was Harper Goff's (the imagineer) home town! Since he help with Disneyland, many thing old town Fort Collins was an inspiration. Not only that, but a 15 minute drive away is a place called the swetsville zoo. I'll let you research it with your Columbo like research skills. Not to mention Glenwood Springs, the nation's largest natural hot springs, Estes Park, home of the spooky Stanley hotel from the shining, Boulder, the filming loca5ion of Mork and Mindy, Rocky Mountain national park, and more. I'm so glad you saw Little Man Ice Cream, they make the best stuff ever. I'll leave it there, and I hope you enjoy your stay!
Woo, not sure how long you are going to be in Colorado, but if you are staying a bit and havent planned it already check out Red Rocks Amphitheater. I have seen some great bands play there. Beautiful area as well!
