I once bought a 916 V6 GTV for a tad over 3k then spent another 4k getting it ready to drive to Italy for Alfa’s centenary in 2010. If it’s your car, enjoy it & to hell with the cost. Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks!

To remove the rear manifold just undo the rear engine mount and remove it, then undo the top stabiliser mount and jack the engine to tilt it to the front. The manifold then comes out on the top with a bit of a wiggle.

Im from Poland and mechanics there say that the renovation of this gearbox is very hard and expensive (lack of the parts they say) The point is they say that i should buy just a used one in good condition from other 2.0 TS, do you know do the gearboxes from other TS fit to this particular engine in my spider>?
