    Very informative video, thanks 😊 what were the wait times like for dinner? Am I right in thinking lunch and breakfast are buffet style?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you!
      Wait times weren't long at all but I was there during a lower occupancy time of year.
      Lunch can be a la carte at Seaside Grill or Bamboo or just a quick lunch from the Barefoot Grill near the pool. The buffet is also usually open for lunch.
      Breakfast is a buffet or room service or even the coffee shop.
      There are lots of options and very good quality. If there is a bit of a wait for grab a cocktail or two and enjoy 😊.
      Roads through Mexico is fantastic for appetizers before dinner.
      Have fun!! 😊

    Love your narration voice and style! The journey through Mexico night around the pool looks classy- is it just food or entertainment outside? Will there be a show in theatre that night too?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much for your kind words!!
      The Journey through Mexico was really good and I have not seen it done this well at any other resort that we have been too.
      It is hors d'oeuvres style food and regional cocktails as well as some musicians, dancers, and artists.
      I'm not actually sure about the theater that night because we lingered around the event but the Secrets App will tell you for sure what the schedule is for that night.

    Hi! Wanted to know, if men can wear normal Shirts (not sleeveless ofc) for dinner together with long pants and sneakers? or is it necessary to wear collared shirts everytime?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +1

      If you want to sit inside, I believe, collared shirts are required. A golf shirt was a totally acceptable option when we were there. Every restaurant has a patio where the dress code is more relaxed.
      Hope that helps. 😊

    I thought an all inclusive included the food? A few times you talk about the restaurant pricing. Are only some of the restaurants included?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  3 месяца назад +1

      @@mrnoname6327 yes all inclusive does include all your meals and snacks and room service. 😊 Not all of the restaurants on the property are included because there are a couple that are exclusive to Impressions Moxche guests but all of the ones you see in our videos ARE included.
      The extra pricing on the menus is for additional charge 'fancy' items (like lobster). I didn't find there was any need to purchase additional items as there are plenty of good choices as part of the all-inclusive.

    • @mrnoname6327
      @mrnoname6327 3 месяца назад +1

      @newtravelescapes oh! Okay, that makes sense. One more question for you. Would something like the lobster be priced cheaper than normal lobster because you already paid for the food, so more like an uncharge. Or would it be a normal price for lobster. Sorry for the questions, I've never done an all inclusive and I'm checking out options for the future.

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  3 месяца назад +2

      @@mrnoname6327 Ask any questions you would like. I'm happy to answer about anything I know. 😊
      Your thinking is logical but unfortunately the 'extra' price items like lobster are ridiculously expensive. Like $60+ for a lobster tail.
      From my experience, the resorts tend to price gouge. For example; don't forget your sunscreen because it is often $30+ USD in the gift shop.
      I was just at Ventus Ha' last month and mani/pedi was $169 at the spa. I pay $60 at home.
      Some all-inclusives have a lot of add-ons and others have a much more inclusive plan.
      If you are researching have a look at Excellence properties. They include lobster and many things that other resorts charge extra for.
      Xcaret resorts are expensive but they include almost everything, zip-lines, cenote snorkeling, ATVs, boating, water parks etc.
      Have fun researching and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. 🙂

      Disco with a dj, two bars and comfortable seating. It was a ton of fun!

    I’m curious if the sit down dinners were included in the all inclusive rate or if you had to pay for dinners?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +1

      The restaurants are all part of the all-inclusive rates.
      There are extra costs you can add if you want such as, a dinner on the beach or specialty dinner items but they are not necessary We didn't do any additional fees for anything (except the spa).
      We tried every restaurant at the resort for dinners and never had any extra costs.
      Hope that helps. ☺️

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +1

      You can always purchase upgraded sparkling wines or champagne at the resort but only the house sparkling wine is included.

    Could you tell me what your top 5 food resorts are? At least what's #1 😊

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +3

      Hi! My top 5 has really changed this year. Some resorts have rebounded from the pandemic well and others have not.
      It really depends on what you are looking for. Personally, these are my top picks for certain "must haves" on my list in the Cancun area.
      Top for romance and relaxation is Beloved.
      Top for pools and activities is Secrets Moxche
      Top for nightlife is Excellence Playa Mujeres
      Top for beach is Secrets Maroma
      Top for service is Excellence Riviera Cancun.
      Top for restaurants and service is Le Blanc
      Top for a party but not 'couply' is Valentin or Breathless.
      Hope that helps a bit.
      The rest of our group may answer this differently but that is what gets top marks from me depending on what I am looking for. 🙂🤗

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +1

      😂 sorry I got distracted and forgot you focused your question on food and not overall restorts.
      Le Blanc, Secrets Moxche, Excellence Riviera Cancun, and Iberostar Grand Paraiso are all my favourites for food.
      My favourite at Le Blanc is their sushi restaurant.
      At Secrets Moxche it is their French restaurant, Le Bisou.
      At Excellence Riviera Cancun it is their Indian restaurant, Basmati.
      At Iberostar Grand Paraiso it is their fresh seafood in all of their restaurants. Lol
      I apologize for my earlier Top contenders list that didn't answer your question.
      Unico 2087 used to be one of my favourites for food but it slid downhill coming out of the pandemic and I haven't been back yet to see how things are for this year. Hopefully, they will bounce back soon. 🙂

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  Год назад +1

      It is only for 18+ years of age.
      Starts at about $400 per person per night but that can vary greatly depending on package discounts and promos.

    • @newtravelescapes

      It is Whitehaven Beach off the coast of Australia on the Great Barrier Reef.
      It is the most beautiful beach and water I have ever seen in my life (and I have seen my fair share😁).
      Put it on your bucket list. You won't regret it. ☺️

      @@newtravelescapes I highly recommend to invest in the new iPhone pro max. It has one of the best video taking in terms of lighting, focus and stabilisation. On my reviews I used the cheapest iPhone mini and even that does a decent job. You can see my video review of excellence and haven on my channel!

      @@newtravelescapes I don't think it's the resolution because the colors just seem washed out even for 1080p so perhaps the camera? But otherwise agreed, it's a very informative video.
