- This video is for informational purposes only and outlines our experience staying at Secrets Moxche. We take you through the different room options that are available at the resort, where they are located, and what you get for your money. We also look at the pricing on the resort website to see how much more an upgrade actually costs you.
There are two room categories that are entry level;
Jr Suite Tropical view
Jr Suite Ocean view.
The preferred room upgrades;
Preferred Club Jr. Suite Ocean view
Preferred Club Jr. Suite swim Out Tropical view
Preferred Club Jr. Suite Ocean Front
Preferred Club Superior Suite Ocean View
Preferred Club Master Suite Ocean Front
Preferred Club Oceanview Paramount Suite
Stellar Presidential Penthouse Ocean View
This video is created from our experience and it is based on our opinions. As always do your own research as rooms, upgrades, inclusions and pricing are always changing.
We paid for our trip ourselves using Air Transat Vacations and we booked the resort and flight as a package.

You should make a video explaining the differences between these rooms and the secrets impression moxche. It is a bit confusing. Thank you :)
You're right, it is confusing. Impressions was only in a soft opening while we were there and I was not willing to spend double the price to stay in that building.
I can certainly work on a video outlining the extras included in Impressions as opposed to the regular Moxche side.

It is SPF 15 for what that is worth and the steamer worked very well. 😊
Does booking a preferred room grant you access to the spa or is the spa only for use with paid services?
When we were there it did not include access to the spa. That was only included with some spa services. As far as I know, that hasn't been added as a perk to the preferred club upgrade. 😊
Do they play hip-hop music at the pool? Every video I see the pool area always seem quiet.
The activities pool near the beach is always pretty busy from lunch time onwards. The music starts at about 10 am and continues with different genres throughout the day.
The other pools are mostly quiet.
Does building 3 have any preferred junior suite ocean view rooms or are they just the superior rooms?
I'm sorry but I'm not sure which building you mean by building 3.
If you are standing on the beach looking at the resort. The building on the right is Impressions Moxche (they consider it a different resort-within-a-resort and it is booked separately).
The center of the resort has rooms on the upper floors as well as most of the restaurants on the ground floor.
The building on the left side has most room categories available.

@@newtravelescapes no worries. Building 3 is actually the main building where the preferred club is (observatory). We are here now and it does have Jr suite ocean view rooms.

They were working through some growing pains when I was there in November. How are you finding the resort?
@@newtravelescapes I wouldn't call any of the issues we've experienced, growing pains... There's a few things that are kinda odd to us (lack of storage in room, rain shower only, etc.) but no deal breakers. We have been to several Secrets and love them but are not sure we would place Moxche over any of them. We definitely won't be staying again if the price doesn't come down (We are UVC members so we got a pretty decent deal this time).

It is nice but we didn't think it was better than Maroma or Akumal.
I do really enjoy Secrets properties but it will depend on price for us too on whether we return or try somewhere else.
