Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club, Jr.Suite Swim-Out (non-upgraded suite)

I stayed at Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club Dec. 2023 in a non-upgraded swim-out suite with tropical view. The only amenities not included in this video were M & M's and Pringles which suddenly appeared in my room the day after I checked in. Do you have an Air conditioner control in the room?

Yes, there is a central A/C wall unit so you can adjust desired room temperature

Did you still enjoy even though it wasn’t the preferred club ? im booking the same room. Do we miss out on dinner spots ?

Yes, I still enjoyed my stay at this resort and loved the room in general, the depth of the swim-up pool wasn't as deep as I would prefer but it's fine for getting cool and talking with others. There aren't that many dinner restaurants to begin with, but you only miss out on 1 restaurant by not booking the upgrade. I think that by this time the main rooftop pool is for upgraded guests, but there are lots of smaller pools up there in addition to the larger one. It won't ruin your vacation unless you allow it to...don't miss the Beach Club, it's awesome!

Great video, so question can I smoke on the balcony or is their designated smoke place?

No smoking on the balcony. There is a designated smoking area just outside of the buffet restaurant--if you are facing the buffet entrance that area is around the corner to your left. I have a resort review on my blog, allinclusivegal, if you are interested in the property as a whole.
