    Thanks for the videos and the blog! I need to see stuff like this when it's 35F in the Midwest in April!

    Great video! I liked and subscribed. Thank you very much for posting! I was wondering when you booked excursions through this resort, did they take US dollars at all or only pesos? Also, paying for the covid test the day before departure, can that be paid with US dollars or only pesos? In other words, we're wondering if we need to have money exchanged before getting to this resort or if US dollars work in paying for the excursions and covid testing specifically. We really don't want to use our credit cards if at all possible. Also, what shuttle service (contact info?) did you use to and from the airport to the resort (did they take US Dollars)? Thank you very much for your help! Blessings!

      While I did not book excursions through the resort, there are staff who will be more than happy to book yours; that desk is in the lobby if I remember correctly. To be on the safe side, I would take pesos if you want to pay cash on the spot, it would make life easier for everybody with the transaction (plus, I don't think the resort accepts American dollars in general). Also, I always take USA Transfers shuttle service--it is private which means only your party in the van. They can be booked online and you can use a charge card via Pay Pal--I believe there are some transfers which you can pay the driver while some I've had to pay in advance. You can talk to them online (a live chat option) and have them help you with the reservation (www.usa-transfers.com/). I went to a different resort after this one so I did my covid testing at the second resort. My understanding is that this one may offer free antigen tests for stays of 3 nights or more, but again to be on the safe side I would allow around $50 p/antigen test just in case. You can always save your left over pesos for future trips to Mexico. I found an email to ask your COVID questions, try royaltulum.guestexperience@cataloniahotels.com. Have a great trip!

    I'm going in December. Is this a smoke-free facility, or are there smoking rooms/areas?

    • @AllinclusiveGal
      @AllinclusiveGal  2 года назад

      That's a great question. I don't smoke anymore so I don't look for the stands/trays...In terms of resort policy, I believe there is no smoking inside the rooms, but there may be common areas where it is allowed. I don't recall seeing a lot of smokers here even at the pool.

    also, i forgot to ask in my previous post if we need to bring converters/adapters for the power outlets? are the outlets the same as in the U.S.? thank you very much!

    • @AllinclusiveGal
      @AllinclusiveGal  2 года назад +1

      No, I had no problems plugging in my devices/hair curler. Only if you are a UK or European citizen do you need to worry about converters. If you have a lot of devices, maybe think about bringing something that can handle plugging in several things simultaneously. The outlets in the room are few.

      @@AllinclusiveGal thanks again for all of your help! another question that just came to mind. was the safe secure? was it also large enough to house a laptop? thx again!

    • @AllinclusiveGal
      @AllinclusiveGal  2 года назад +1

      @@vaggelissotiropoulos4140 it can hold a small laptop. It was secure, I put my laptop and iPhone in along with monies and everything was fine. If you are still concerned, here's a tip--I always carry along a secure lock so that I can put anything extra in my suitcase and lock it up there. Then I put the suitcase away with the lock hidden. I've never had anything stolen and I've been coming to this area since 2012. Just make sure you don't leave anything out in the open.

    Hello, how much did your private transfer cost to and from the airport? Thanks

    • @AllinclusiveGal
      @AllinclusiveGal  Год назад

      This last trip in March 2023 I took a private shuttle for 2 adults from Cancun's Hotel Zone to this resort. It cost $85, I would assume it may cost anywhere from $65 to $80 leaving from the airport. that was just one way.

    Hey does the resort provide shuttle? To the airport and to the resort?

    • @AllinclusiveGal
      @AllinclusiveGal  3 года назад

      No, I don't believe so. I always take a private shuttle to and from, I get to start my vacay asap and don't have to worry about being late to catch my flight. I typically take USA Transfers, but you can get other reliable transportation from other companies.
