Hi Blanche - we just returned from staying at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun all inclusive adults only resort. And I highly recommend this place. The resort, rooms, amenities, food, entertainment, comfort and the service is outstanding!! It’s not a party resort but there is 2 pool sides, one is livelier with DJ and daily water activities and the other side is a more relaxed vibe. The beach is beautiful with very minimal seaweed. We had an oceanfront suite and the views were stunning!! Every single team member/worker was so professional, friendly and accommodating. I cannot express enough how impressed we were with everything and everyone during our entire stay from the time we arrived until we left. Even the hotel/airport transportation was amazing . We will definitely be returning to this resort! And the SPA… was truly an incredible experience. For me and my husband, we definitely got our money’s worth 👌🏼No complaints here. Oh and the evening shows were incredible and entertaining. Reminded us of Vegas! But this resort is really lovely. The hotel decor is a Spanish Colonial mixed with some Roman style,. High ceilings, marble floors and wrought iron railings which I love as it truly has a lot of Spanish charm. This resort is really lovely and did not disappoint at all. I’m so happy I ended up staying here 🙌🏻💕
I’m heading to Punta Cana this May for the first time ever with my fiancé but I was thinking about staying at an Airbnb as the resorts might be a little too expensive for us. Can you do a video based on Punta Cana Airbnb stays and recommendations? Thanks.
Just got back from the Zilara a couple of weeks ago. It’s the only Cancún resort I’ve stayed at, so I have nothing to compare it to, but we loved it. Even if you don’t get a swim out, every balcony has a hammock, which was amazing in the early morning and late afternoon. I do recommend considering renting a cabana. We did and (watching other people talk) I think it saved us some drama.
@@3Days3Noches The one other thing I'll say about the staff and Zilara and what kind of people they are (or at least my impression)... On the first day (us being noobs), we tried to leave a tip on the table for the housekeeping staff but had laid it next to a card for snack preferences. But we failed to leave a note. When we got back, the money and the card were placed on top of the fridge. The housekeeping folks were trying to make sure the snack person got their tip. Which, they could've just taken that cash and we would've never known the difference. We started adding a note after that. But, I feel like that speaks volumes the people and the place. They literally left money on the table to try to protect their coworker (as far as making sure they got what was due to them) I think.
Live Aqua was fantastic, just went this summer. The service was insane, especially if you get a suite since you get butler service which is basically a concierge at your fingertips. Whatever you need you just text them and they take care of it. Reservations (either ar the resort or elsewhere), reserving your spot on the beach beds or cabanas, making appointments at the spa, getting anything for your room, calling a car etc. They were so good.
Okay I just bought some microphones that I played around with last trip and will try to do more of that in January! I’m Not the best with the technical part lol
People love to rag on Riu for some reason on these videos... but Riu Las Americas was an amazing adults only all inclusive on a great part of beach in the hotel zone. Food was great, party vibe was great, size was walkable. Just throwing it out there. Also a bit less expensive than most on this list while still having that upscale look. It does have that 'it all looks Riu chain' type look, but not as heavy as in other hotels as it keeps a more subdued Grecian theme. I loved it there, just saying :)
I appreciate your content. I've never been to an all inclusive resort and am looking at the Cancun area. I've found your channel very informative, helpful and well constructed. We are looking to take a couples only trip and leave the kids at home. We want rest, relaxation and great food. We did 4 days in Puerto Rico last year and didn't leave our room a lot because our sleep schedule was so off, However I found our Resort limited on food/drink options, especially later at night. I'd like a place that we can just enjoy our room, the pool, on-site restaurant and just unwind. Where would you recommend? Our budget is around $3K-$4K for a great resort.

Issue always is if you pick the wrong Resort and you have a week where your left wondering why did I choose this place? Now to be fair about the resort if you're looking for a great night life this may not be the resort for you but if you're looking for incredible accommodation, great drinks (Inspira or not top shelf included) and very very good food this is right at the top. Other Resorts we've stayed at in the area include xcaret, Riu palace, Royalton Riviera, Paridisus, Catalonia, Wyndham Alltra.... Hit and miss. I agree with you about Secrets Maroma…it was fairly crowded and lively around the pools, (even the “quiet” pool, which was right next to the activity pool). The activities team was great, providing continual fun in the pool areas. Not really a quiet, or tranquil experience. For the tranquil vacation, go to Iberostar Grand Paraiso (very close to Secrets Maroma). We loved this resort! Adults only, very relaxing, quiet. Food was phenomenal, imo. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. @@3Days3Noches I see. But what I still don't get it is, $1,000/night hotel to me is for wealthy people, above my level. But the wealthy people won't be stuck in a hotel compound and enjoying the same food and drink in the same place for a week. And almost never go outside the hotel compound for a week. Wealthy people I mean, for example, my friend who worked for a renowned bank told me that his firm divides their customers based on what the customers got. If they have $100k+ luxury cars and $2M+ home, then they are classified as "affluent", but not rich nor wealthy. (c'est moi 🙂) If they have a ferrari, a yacht, $5M+ home(s), or a bank balances over $10M, then and only then, they are identified as wealthy, deserving extra care. (not me, not even close... 🙂) Are people staying at $1,000/night all-inclusive hotel wealthy? I don't think they are, but they are spending several thousands just for hotels.... And then, a lot of 50 ft+ new yachts in Cancun... ($1M+)... the real wealthy... not staying at any all-inclusives obviously.... So, who are the people staying at $1,000/night all-inclusive hotels? Really curious.
@3Days3Noches I did watch it and heard what you said. The reason I watch these videos is make a decision on where to stay. I prefer the pov from those that actually stayed but also appreciate the effort you put into the videos.
I've seen some of your Cancun resort reviews and absolutely love them! I have to say that I don't trust or agree with your list since you haven't experienced most of the resorts on this particular top 10 list. I went to the Secrets resorts and as you mentioned, gorgeous and luxurious properties. But I disagree entirely with Hyatt Zilara. It's a very old building. The service was beyond terrible, and the personnel wasn't friendly, the food was okay, and the restaurants were crowded… a bad experience. As I said, this is your channel, and I love your reviews however you should experience the resorts prior coming up with a top 10 list.
Thank you for pointing this out! I did say in the video I was compiling a list based on the awards given out in 2023 and most popular etc I have also found that places I love others don’t at all. Choosing a resort is very subjective to the persons priorities! Thank you for letting us know about the Hyatt. People in our facebook group rave about it and loved it 🤷♀️. I appreciate you watching my videos 😀
Went to excellence Riviera maya. After going to many secrets, sandals, riu, hyatt, and even other excellence resorts this one blew us away. The food was the best we’ve ever had across the board, service was amazing, and what made it all amazing was the price tag!

If they have $100k+ luxury cars and $2M+ home, then they are classified as "affluent", but not rich nor wealthy. (c'est moi 🙂)
If they have a ferrari, a yacht, $5M+ home(s), or a bank balances over $10M, then and only then, they are identified as wealthy, deserving extra care. (not me, not even close... 🙂)
Are people staying at $1,000/night all-inclusive hotel wealthy?
I don't think they are, but they are spending several thousands just for hotels....
And then, a lot of 50 ft+ new yachts in Cancun... ($1M+)... the real wealthy... not staying at any all-inclusives obviously....
So, who are the people staying at $1,000/night all-inclusive hotels?
Really curious.
How can you include a resort you have not stayed at yet? Speaking of Atelier.
If you watched the video I say the video is a compilation of resorts that won awards and rated the best.
@3Days3Noches I did watch it and heard what you said. The reason I watch these videos is make a decision on where to stay. I prefer the pov from those that actually stayed but also appreciate the effort you put into the videos.
@ashleys4652 great feedback! Ty!
@@ashleys4652Then go watch them😒
have you been to Planet Hollywood cancun?
I have not. I don’t like going to American resorts in Mexico. @coolist just did a video on it!
People get on my nerves saying this. Don’t watch it if u don’t like it. Some of us appreciate all kinds of reviews before choosing😒
Been to Secrets Moxche and Maroma Beach, you'd like both.
Awesome! Thank you!
Went to excellence Riviera maya. After going to many secrets, sandals, riu, hyatt, and even other excellence resorts this one blew us away. The food was the best we’ve ever had across the board, service was amazing, and what made it all amazing was the price tag!
Thank you!!
Ive been to a few of these, but Secrets Moxche is #1 and not even close.
Awesome thank you. What about the beach
@@3Days3Nochesreminds me of EPM. Playa Del Carmen can be hit or miss. It is up there in price, but totally worth it IMO. Keep up the great content.
@mikeyspitzer4471 thank you!!!
Haven riviera is top notch.
Ty, young lady
Ty for watching!
Need to put breaks in the video so people can scroll right to the each option....
RUclips is supposed to do it automatically!! Let me check the settings
Atlier playa mujeres was a great resort, but the beach kind of sucked and is kind of far from hotel zone
Agree! I went and did a full review but don’t go back because of the beach
