- ROOM Walk Through - No bullshit RUclipsr blabbing over the video filming vertically with a narrow field of view, and constantly in the way so you cant see the room.
Here's what it really looks like. The layout, views and amenities. I stayed in the room for $1850 a night for 4 nights. Its very nice but definitely NOT worth the $3500-$4500 a NIGHT they can charge on the travel sites i.e.. Expedia, etc.. I had originally booked a Preferred Club Junior Suite King Ocean View (which is also very nice option, just smaller) - but upgraded once I got to the hotel and asked to upgrade.
The room is great and the outdoor area is a cool addition with tons of space. But the property is so nice you wont spend a ton of time in your room, but when you do its pretty big. But NO WHERE near the 1926sqft like they say on their site. Not sure how they're getting those numbers. The tub in the bathroom is HUGE, probably to big, takes forever to fill. Same with the tub on the patio. Neither tub is jetted. Just soaking tubs. The shower is nice with good pressure and large enough for 2-3 people. I like the bench in the shower too. AC worked well, TV had good English channel selection and movie channels. Hammock on patio is comfortable even with 2 people. Minor complaint - The toilet door could be more "private" as its right by the sink, partially see-thru and thin glass. Having more privacy would be nice. The food at resort is very good. Service is great. I have stayed here at this resort twice since it has opened. TV swings out for better viewing angle, and windows can lower a window screen in edition to the black out curtains to help cut out the light if desired.
IMPORTANT - Headboard has plugs for USB-C and USB-A to charge your phone or plug-in on both sides of the bed.
Booked a 4 night stay here but at secrets impression moxche. It’s at the same resort right just the next building over? Place looks amazing! Can’t wait to be there in early May. Any advice or tips about the resort?
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes Impression is just the next building over you can actually see it in this video at the .40 second mark to the right, I think Impressions is WAAAAY over priced and not worth it, Moxche is the same resort, same pools, same restaurants, same everything. Everyone all hangs out at the same areas and pools/spaces/restaurants, so you're not getting anything extra or special. You're just paying for a 70 sqft larger room with Impressions, totally not worth paying an extra $500-$1000 more A NIGHT!!!.... But as far as the property as a whole - its great, food is awesome, pools are relaxing and fun. Service is amazing always got taken care of quickly and with a smile. Its only 40-50 mins from airport which goes by fairly quick. Beach is a 6 out of 10 considering what they had to work with. I have been to Moxche twice now and would go back if I wanted a quick easy mindless trip knowing that everything will be taken care of easy and just great. This room featured in the video is kind of expensive, I recommend trying to upgrade once you get there rather than booking it online they usually give you a better deal if you ask when you arrive for an upgrade. I think Expedia sells this room for $3587 a night which is absolutely ridiculous!...you can have it for like $1850-2000 a night if upgrading at the resort when arrive by asking, if its available. I would go to Moxche 9 out of 10 times before I spend extra to go to Impressions, just not worth it, and I'm not cheap. I like luxury and service...as seen by this video...haha
