Best interview out there brothers, so personnal, made me cry, you guys go deep damn but that is what i like. Really nice what you guys said about the persons you lost, you tickled my heart and i thank you for that.
fun fact if you want a super deep take track The Acacia Strain has a song featuring mitch(before suicide silence) Lou Tanuis(conducting from the grave), Phil Labonte(ATR) Nate Johnson(Fit For An Autopsy). It's cool because they were all kids. the song is called predator, never prey
Love hearing Garza on podcast. First seen him (podcast wise) on Shapel Lacy’s podcast and started listening to his. Keep doing it and keep shredding 🤘🏼
I was at a festival in Sydney around 2010 and happened to walk to a stage where suicide silence were playing. I was there for the punk bands and not a big metal guy but their performance was captivating. The energy on stage was just magnetic and I had to watch the whole set.
Hell yea Garza, if Mitch still inspires your bands writing and you feel his spirits within the band, hell yea include him in the band credits on albums etc or whatever you want. Mitch is still Suicide Silence. He did not leave by choice. I think that would be a cool and honorable thing Garza for you to do for your buddy, your brother from another mother, Mitch. You’re the other half that started Suicide Silence and it’s cool you get to still keep your friends spirit alive within your band. Do what you want to do. I am sure Mitch’s family would appreciate it also. All respects with that bro. You’re a good dude Garza don’t ever change bro, people like you, the scene needs much more of.👍🤘🎸🤘
Mens health should not be a stigma to talk about. Men are to "manly" / "motcho" to want to speek of their feelings. If Mitch talked to someone seriously before he left, maybe that would have been the diffrence. ... Talk and take 5 minutes. Instead of doing something stupid within 5 seconds..
I don't necessarily disagree with you but I don't think it's so much of a "macho" factor these days. I think alot of men feel like they HAVE to harden up because of all the fairweather friends, scheming women, crooked employers and all the other things in this world that will eat you alive. I used to be the biggest softie. I had to harden up. It's not really an option anymore unless you want your life destroyed.
Ahh, finally caught up! I felt this episode, man. 💜💚 Also, JohnnyKrist is looking dope back there and I spotted the OG one, too. Thanks for the support, y'all! 💜💚
Thanks for having me! -GaЯza
Been a fan of your music for years and I’m glad to see now you’re killing it in the podcast world too 👊🏼

Two of my favorite bands talking online is the best thing about the internet.
This might’ve honestly been my favorite episode so far. The honesty and realness of this episode made it such a blast to listen to
🙏
It's crazy, I've been following this guy for almost 20 years. I saw Suicide Silence live @ Soma San Diego back in '07 or maybe even '06.
🔥🔥
Chris has such a vulnerable and honest approach. I have so much respect for him. Hopefully I can become more like him.
Love the new SS record. Great conversation.🤘

Trust the man when he says no more than 2. Made that mistake Once, and only Once with Steel Reserve.
Only alive members are vocals and bass
Johnny is my favorite member of A7X and the most talented
